Thai Thani is by far our favorite place for Thai food in Orlando. Food is amazing and the ingredients they use are always fresh. The service is awesome and we have always been super welcome by our great friends. Edward Julian is such a joyful, kind and helpful server who always welcomes you with a warm smile and best disposition. Elena is such a great friend and we love her much too, she is very funny and cool. Pete, the manager always greets us with some appetizer on the house. We really enjoy not only the friendship, service or food but the atmosphere of the restaurant itself makes you feel like you are in a great restaurant in Thailand. Come try their fabulous food and enjoy the place and great service you will be delighted!!!

Beautiful décor inside, it’s like you’re sitting in another world. The service was extremely great as well. We ordered pad see ew, basil chicken, and red curry. They were all good but the red curry was really great. Three of us shared these three dishes and the portions were so generous that we brought home leftovers and ate them for a full lunch the next day. We also got a thai tea which was very tasty!

My husband and I were craving Thai one night. We ordered from this place as they do delivery(delivery charge $ 3.99 + 18% gratuity). The food was just not worth the hassle. We ordered curry fried rice and Pad thai. Both dishes were very dry and flavorless. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I’ve been to this restaurant at least a half dozen times. When it comes to ambiance and good service it is a top notch location. The décor will amaze you! It’s almost worth visiting for this reason alone. However, the food and has fallen off over the years. Where it had been better than most, now it seems much the same as any other Thai restaurant. This last visit, the Pad Thai tasted like a frozen diner version that I’ve made at home, and the peanut sauce had a very off taste. The fried pot stickers were crunchy and the crab ragoons also seemed a little too commercial somehow(at least they tasted okay). On the other hand the Thai tea was super yummy, as was the coconut ice-cream, which became the highlight of the lunch. But stay clear of the green tea ice cream — it was a slightly frost bit and tasted stale. I’ve notice this in far too many Thai and Japanese restaurants lately. In fact, I think that will be my new test for these restaurants — order a scoop of green tea ice-cream first and if that is good, stick around for the main course. P. S. My apologizes to the older couple that asked me if the Pad Thai was good and I said«better than most». Sadly, that *used* to be the case.

My coworker and I came here for dinner. We shared the sampler — which was decent — and I had the chicken pad thai — which was very good. The service was excellent. Our waitress was lovely and attentive. The décor was spectacular to boot. If only they had one of these by me.

Fresh, Delicious and reasonably priced for large portions! All with beautiful décor while dining. Had a amazing experience here at Tani, and I will definitely come back again and again. Delicious Tom yum, just the right level our sour and spicy with big sweet shrimp inside. Curry was exceptional. I got roast duck red curry(so so so phenomenal) the duck was a bit fatty for my taste but the flavor was excellent. Was too stuffed for dessert, what a drag. Come here you won’t be disappointed.

Good Thai food, perfect Thai tea. Awful Vietnamese food. I am Vietnamese. Although, I’ve been to Thailand and their food and tea are very similar to the ones in Thai Thani.

Somewhat commercialized Thai food, however, still tasty. The atmosphere here is great! You feel as if you stepped into Thailand. You can sit on the floor, regular dining room, or reserve a private room. They also have traditional Thai dancing. Not sure if that is on certain nights or special occasions but it was different and interesting. As far as service, I don’t remember ever having a bad one and the prices are decent.

Based only on one take out order… Normally, I would base a review in more, but this place nailed it! The guy that took my order was so patient and kind. My daughter picked up the order and raved about how sweet the woman was that rang her out. She also said I would have loved the interior– I’m a designer. We ordered: Beef satay– I didn’t like this at all but all of my kids did. Chicken pad Thai– spice level 6. This was excellent and everyone loved it. Shrimp red curry– spice level 7. Huge jump from pad Thai 6 to curry 7! We all had milk with it, but it was perfect and probably my favorite red curry to date. Red curry is my go-to curry so that says a lot. Mango sticky rice– very good! Aside from satay, I would reorder everything on a weekly basis if I lived here!

Thai Thani is a great place to bring a large group as they have tons of seating and private rooms as well. I’ve been going there at least once a year for almost 14 years, and it is always an enjoyable experience. They have what feels like an authentic, SE Asian vibe, lots of artwork and décor, dim lighting and high energy from the very friendly staff. Nothing sterile or stark here. The mixed drinks are never swift to arrive, but they are reasonably priced and strong. I very much enjoyed their Mai Tais the last couple of visits. Crab Rangoons are the best appetizer option, I find their chicken skewers are almost always very dry and flavorless, and even when drowned in their delicious peanut sauce the induce the need for immediate hydration. Their steamed dumplings are mushy and don’t have a strong flavor either so I would skip those. The house salad is memorable and tasty as it has a delicious peanut vinaigrette to accompany the crisp iceberg, shaved carrots and shaved cabbage. Plenty to split between 2 people, as are all of their dishes. The Pad Thai and the curry are menu highlights, however the steamed chicken dishes are also quite good. Plan to get a good meal for a decent price with great service here.

Xmas vacation in FL wouldn’t have been great without Thai food. This place safe my life lol. We went there 3times in 5 days! Only a few minutes away from our hotel(Hilton Grand vacation), interesting decorations! Somehow made me feel like antique store in Thailand. The food was great but only the curry dishes not really impress(too creamy and sweet in my taste) The service was nice and friendly!

Don’t pass by, when there is Thai! It was Christmas eve, and no you have not heard this story before, but on this night, our family, while in the central Florida area, was looking for a nice meal out while on vacation; and we found a few spots in a row which included, Thai Thani. We glanced over the menus that were on display outside, with pricing and all ideas shared, and decided this would be a great suit for us all. We were so glad we selected Thai Thani as the dining experience was wonderful. Once our name was called and we walked through the doors, we were in another place. Looking like part of Eastern Asian countries with adornments all around, Thai Thani held a great visual for us as we looked over the vast menu, which included plenty of great choices for all of us. I had a vegetable and chicken plate with rice and a medium spicy sauce, while other had pad Thai dishes and beef and chicken meals around respectively. Our server was fantastic as she knew the massive menu inside and out and helped us all order and feel comfortable with our choices. The food was served promptly and tasted wonderful. At the end of our meals we were satisfied and toasted to a great night out. I recommend Thai Thani all around and would say that anything you try would be well worth the modest prices you will find on their vast menu.

I came here with a group of 6. The wait was about 20 minutes which was not terrible considering it was a Saturday night. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken, fried whole snapper, roasted duck curry, papaya salad, appetizer sampler, beef pad see ew, fried tofu, mussels, and a beef appetizer. For me, the stand out dishes were the papaya salad and roasted duck curry. The papaya salad has a nice kick to it so it’s not for those who can’t tolerate spicy. The roasted duck curry had a nice combination of a crispy/fatty duck submerged in a very coconut milk based curry sauce. The bamboo tasted fresh and not from a can. The fried whole snapper was pretty good, but I probably wouldn’t get it again. I would definitely pass on the sweet and sour chicken as it was unmemorable. Everything else was pretty good, and the Thai iced tea was delicious as well. The duck curry was so good that I actually came back 2 days later just to get it since I was only in town for 5 days. The second time around, it wasn’t as impressive, but it’s still one of the best curries I’ve ever had. The coconut water was really refreshing and had chunks of coconut in it. The décor was beautiful and ornate, and service was great. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Orlando.
