The server was nice! The prices were alright. I loved how this place was right in the resort we were staying at. very easy access to the pool and room. I wish it was a little bigger and closed off from the lobby

The drinks were strong and the bartender was friendly. They run drink specials on well drinks for $ 6 between certain hours if that’s your thing. We got two drinks and the bill was about $ 24, it’s was fun sitting at a retro bar watching I love Lucy.

Great bartender! Very knowledgeable and friendly. I tried the Astoria ($ 10) and the Swizzle Rum Punch ($ 10.50). Both were fruity and went down like sunshine. My husband’s tried the Blood Orange Side Car ($ 10) which was very strong. Then he tried the Pimm’s Cup ($ 9.50).
Great drinks, comfy bar seats and fun atmosphere. We will definitely come back if we have the opportunity!

Great hotel bar (if you’re staying at the Cabana Bay — I wouldn’t come here if I wasn’t staying on-​site). Nice bar selection, some good happy hour specials, but mostly the staff is great, friendly, fast and chatty! This bar was packed every night I was here regardless if it was a Saturday or a Tuesday night! I loved how everything is retro and straight out of the 50s!
I had a Bullet Bourbon on rocks (huge pour) at $ 10.95

Handy if you’re staying in Cabana Bay, this bar has some very tasty cocktails. Service was friendly and efficient. Recommended.

The lobby bar at the universal cabana resort definitely makes you feel like you went back to the 50s. Great staff great drinks great place.

Friendly fast service. Perfectly made drinks. Snacks are free. Bar is in the hotel lobby. Open, light and comfortable with music. Almost has a cruise ship feel to it. We enjoyed the time spent and the staff.

Had a great first experience with the Swizzle Lounge this Eve. Great service and friendly atmosphere! The daily cocktail specials are awesome! Had an orange creamsicle martini (not sure the exact name but ask David, he knows and makes a great one!) and friendly conversation with other guests. Highly recommend not only the lounge, but hotel as well! Thanks David, for making our first night here a great one!

This is a great lobby bar. The place is done with the cutest kitschy furniture. All cute mid century chairs and lights in a great big open space. The cocktail menu is great, it’s a mix of classic cocktails with a few tropical drinks tossed in. I chose a terrific ghost old fashioned. It is served with fun swizzle sticks. The bartender David was great. This bar was the best part of the whole resort.

I loved the Cabana Bay Beach Resort and the Galaxy Bowling and the sixties themed lounge went along perfectly. They have some great drink specials and I would recommend them. They are cheaper and very tasty. Alcohol content acceptable. We were there in February, but I’m sure the summer time is outstanding. A perfect day with Harry Potter World, bowling and drinking!

The Swizzle Lounge might only be a hotel lobby bar, but it’s a helluva good one. Submerge yourself in the 1950s vibe, have a classic cocktail off their (reasonably priced) menu and request your beverage be served in a plastic cup– you’re going to want to drink it on the baby blue lounge chairs outside. The cucumber gimlet is delicious but I ordered mine with Hendricks instead of the New Amsterdam they usually serve it with and it was great. I also had (over the course of a couple of nights) a New Tom Collins (really refreshing) and a New Old Fashioned (served with orange bitters) and I have to say skip that one unless what you’re really looking for is your last drink of the night– it’s super strong. Friendly service, top notch décor, and good drinks all mean I would definitely grab a drink from them again the next time I’m at Universal.
