This store offers a variety of topics. A great source for spiritual knowledge, and experience. From novice, to curious, to those looking to enhance thier spiritual quests. Meditation to incense to candles. I OFTEN recommend this location. The employees are welcoming without judgment. Always a pleasure to be there.

This shop has such beautiful energy! I got the pleasure of getting to know Sherry and she is so knowledgable, kind hearted, and helpful. It’s rare to find a gem like this, and I highly recommend it.

From the moment you enter, you feel feel the peaceful environment wash over you, incense fills the air with a delectable scent, and all you realize that all you want to do is explore. There are books lining the shelves in every room of this house turned shop. A sweet woman greeted us when we came in, so nice. She welcomed us and told us that if she was needed to let her know. One thing that I loved about this store is that it appeals to spirituality, not just one branch, but many. If you are looking for books to guide you, I am sure you will find it here. There are also crystal balls, stones and an amazing Selenite lamp that is on my Holiday list.(Honey, hint, hint) I can’t believe I didn’t ask the owner’s name, but she was so wonderful and when I left gave me a hug and kiss on the cheek. Rarely do you feel so good when you arrive somewhere. I will be back…

A great local shop with lots of interesting books, candles, and crystals. When I am lacking inspiration or need to refresh that inner sense of wonder walking through these rooms always seems to do the trick.

I started going to The Spiral Circle in the early 1980’s, and it was a favorite destination whenever my beloved mother & I would take one of our saturday shopping trips into Orlando. My mother has since passed on, and my husband & I then moved away a few years ago; but if there was one store I could revisit easily long-distance again, this one would be it. The first sensation one experiences when entering the store, which is a remodeled older home, is a wonderful feeling of peace, calm & welcome. What a positive energy there is, here! We’ve all felt good vibes & bad vibes, and this is thankfully one of the goodies. There are hand-made cards, knick-knacks, crystals, and many wonderful selections of the best-of-the-best & wonderfully unique books to help you on your spiritual search. There is a bulletin board where like-minded people display their events & business services, seminar listings, and free fliers. There are many hard-to-find magazines, and there is always a wonderful selection of music playing and incense in the air. If incense bothers you, don’t worry – this is only in one room and the scent is not overpowering in the other rooms. There are Edgar Cayce products for sale, as well as a few other offerings such as clothing. Jewelry, angel cards, so many wonderful books on many different paths & faiths. One feels welcomed here; prejudices are left outside. There are a few places to sit, but since this is one of those places where there is so much to catch your eye & interest, good luck on remaining seated for very long! I have rarely ever been here at any hour when the place is empty – this is a much beloved store that many like me always return to, again & again. The owner is the wonderful Beverly, and if you ask she will seek out books that she feels may help you on your path. I’ve seen her help so many people over the decades I’ve been visiting there. Special memories I will always treasure: Beverly’s cranky cat, Leadfoot. Someone would be sitting on a stool trying to read, and Leadfoot would sashay up & meow for them to move, and they always did, with a smile on their faces. He was there for many years, and had us all trained to go find Beverly if his food dish was suddenly empty. I cherish the memories of going there on so many delightful trips with my mother & friends, and once we parked we would sit in the car and tell each other, «I don’t need any books, so I’m just going to look.» Then an hour or two later, we would sheepishly lug our heavy bags of books to the car and just laugh at our foolishness; then make arrangements to borrow each other’s books as soon as we finished them. I remember finding gems like, «Way of the Peaceful Warrior» by Dan Millman, and«Dare To Be Yourself» by Alan Cohen. Too many more to mention. Tip: Do notice any stacks of books that are all of the same title – that is a clue for you! Mom & I always looked forward to receiving one of Beverly’s wonderful hugs, and one time when I told her that day was my dearly departed grandmother’s birthday, she went and got me a pink rose, which I put in my Bible and still have, many years later. I remember Miracle & angel cards by the register, «Meditate for a moment & have Spirit choose one just for you!» As you can tell, this is more than ‘just’ a store. It is an experience.

I’ve been to other«spiritual» or «hippie» stores before, but this place is in a league all of its own! I was greeted by an old woman, sweet as could be, saying«Welcome fellow travelers.» I didn’t understand what she meant, but she was too sweet to think anything negative of it. They have a fantastic book selection as well as plenty of incense to choose from. There are shelves and shelves of calming, meditation/yoga music. There is even a room meant for meditating, or at least calming yourself for a few moments. After gathering my spiritual essentials I go to check out and the sweet old woman offers to cleanse my crystals in sage. Then after my transaction she allows me to pick a card from this deck that supposed to apply directly to my life and provide a solution. It was spot on! As I was departing she says to me, «Have a safe trip on your journey through life. Until our paths cross again.» I will be visiting this store many more times. It harbors a sense of peace.

A multi-denominational store where you can seek the guidance you need. How sweet is this? Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism, Astrology, Taro, and Christianity are the sections I noticed. The Buddhist section was my priority and it contained books I had not seen in other places I’ve visited like Borders and Barnes and Noble. So this store should be a stop if you are looking for items you may not have known you needed, lol. Sections are divided into the type of spiritual path you follow. Each section offers a helpful selection of books. There were also stones, crystals, incense, and cds as well. All in all, a very peaceful place where you feel like you are the architect of your own spiritual path, I’d highly recommend a trip through this store, especially if you are flirting with trying out a particular religion or spiritual path.

Even if you’re not spiritual, just being in this space with the insence, music and spiritual items will awaken your spiritual self if only for that one moment. I really should visit here more often! Love, Love, LOve!

Being from a college town that’s chalk full of «hippie stores,» and having worked at one for awhile, I have a huge soft spot for stores like the Spiral Circle. Unfortunately, there aren’t too many in the Orlando area of mass consumerism and corporate chains. So you can imagine my joy when my boyfriend and I heard about a house downtown that now serves as store full of spiritual guidance. We walked into this little place and were instantly met with the warm, wonderful smell of incense. The entryway has Tibetan bells mixed with Indian Buddha statues, «Coexist» bumper stickers and Ganish wall tapestries — all next to cards with Christian Angels on them. There are books on philosophy, yoga, Buddhism, Christianity, Judism, Tarot, Native American spiritual beliefs, and many more I can’t remember right now. There’s an entire room that’s mostly empty and overlooks a rock garden. They have posters full of beautiful, inspirational scenes, as well as a room dedicated to the kind of music that makes peace in your heart. As far as «hippie stores» go — this is a 4⁄5. But as far as «hippie stores» go in ORLANDO, this is absolutely one of the top. We will be back.
