Cool bar with craft beer and cool peeps. This bar is the milk district. It’s a unique bar. It’s tiny — single big room with a counter to buy beer. They have a decent selection of beer. I went on a Friday because a friend of mine promotes there. It wasn’t packed, the entry was 10 dollars. Little expensive for my opinion. I was told it’s a new night for the bar that’s why it’s not as packed. The people were friendly. Most people were hopping over to the next bar(sandwich bar. No joke) and back. The music was deep house. The environment was chill. There are gringos tacos next door. No complains here. Downtown is only 7 buck Über ride away. I would come here again for a chill night.

A great bar with a cool owner and wide selection of beer. I’ve stopped by Spacebar several times during the Milk District Food Truck event held each Tuesday(this venue has lots of events throughout the week, but I’m focusing on tuesdays). While I liked to check out the other bars in the little plaza area, I always inevitably went back to Spacebar for the night. The bar isn’t terribly large(like most of the bars in the area), but it has a lot of style and a lot of beer. The reason the bar has so much style and beer is due to its owner. I believe he was a former skateboard guy who decided to buy a bar and put his imprint on it. This bar doesn’t really sell many«regular» beers i.e. bud light, etc. because the owner and staff want their clients to try new types of beer. I’ve tried about 20 or so new beers thanks to this philosophy, and while some of them weren’t great, many of them(such as the Not Your Fathers) have made it on to my favorites list! While the owner is willing to talk to anyone about anything(he does have many causes, so be ready if you start to chat), the best part of your experience there on a tuesday night is if you get to the end of the night. This is when he pulls out his bottle of «Vikings Blood,» which is a fun mead drink. He has a wide range of shot glasses saved for taking end-of-the-night shots(I use the presidential one) that makes for a little extra fun before you pay your tab and head out. Overall, Spacebar is a fun bar with a wide range of unique drinks and an owner and staff that truely cares about its customers. I’d highly recommend checking them out on Tuesday, as well as any other night of the week.

went to a friend of a friend’s DJ set here one night. While the music wasn’t my favorite. I was too distracted by the venue to notice. It’s essentially a room… yeah that’s it. They had a counter to buy beer and WAY to many smoke machines to be safe in that small a space. I get it. it’s an intimate venue to dance and chill and relax. But it also felt a bit murder house-y. Ease up on the smoke. Or at least lower the beer prices so I don’t notice I’m about to suffocate in the house that claustrophobia and awkward slow– techno dance built.

I liked Spacebar well enough to revisit for a show or something. I don’t see it being the kind of place you go to just to hang out. There’s nothing on tap(not even water) so if you’re really picky about something like that this isn’t the place for you. It’s a great venue for comedy shows though! We went to the Indie Comedy Festival this year and it was awesome.

First time found this place from Unilocal.right across from the T.G. Lee factory. Easily able to walk or drive pass without knowing. That can be a good thing though. said what’s up to a dude at the front with a crate of vinyls. thought that was cool. then hit with a 4 dollar cover. Hmm not a fan of covers so it lost a star. But music was good real hip hop sense dj right across from the comfy couch. Cool classic games but again sucks it’s pay to play. vibe is great though to just kick back.

Spacebar is a great little bar in the Milk district. They have a good and diverse beer selection, eclectic music nights(you might want to check ahead for any given night what is going on), and a wonderful place to park on Tasty Tuesdays and grab a beer to go with whatever fabulous food truck you patronized. Oh, and they have local art and video games.

Decent bottled beer selection and the bartender was really cool. He even agreed to order some of my suggestions. There was some DJ cranking out old school rap tunes which was flat out kinda awesome.

With Barley & Vine around the corner, I say this place is alright. Their craft beer choices are the bottles displayed behind the bar. The décor is interesting and reminiscent of a Blink 182 music video. What interests me the most here is that fact that there are old school video games inside!

Wanting a chill night out with friends and video games(and with pretty awesome drink selections)? Space bar is perfect for that! They seem to have downsized their video game selection however they are mostly free play so you can’t complain! The music is always perfect and it’s a great place to hang out with friends without dealing with downtown Orlando parking!

Great selection of beers and every time I have been the music was the best! Dancing or just shooting pinball, I had a blast! They have great parties on select nights and Tasty Tuesday(the food truck night) it’s kid friendly. Staff is very accommodating and I would highly recommend Spacebar to all my friends.

A nice place to kick back with craft beers. Free arcade game plus quarter pin balls. Plenty of vinyls on the shelf plus record players but didn’t asked why. Pretty cool atmosphere, give an urban-isque vibe.

Spacebar is a great little place hidden in the milk district storefronts. It is a tight space filled with lots of hightops, a small counter and some benches along the wall. The walls are lined with vinyls and a few classic arcade machines. They have a surprsingly large menu of craft beers and the bartenders know their selection inside and out. They also serve soda’s and have no problem with children or dogs joining the party. They have several tv’s on the front and back wall and play everything from the Ali G show to 80’s workout videos. It can get quite crowded and hard to talk over the music, especially on Tuesdays when the food trucks are out too, so getting seats for a large group can be difficult. Check their fb page for different events like local dj’s playing or deals where you can BYO records for a discount on drinks.

I came here, for the first time, to watch DJspank spinning some cool dance tunes. It was his birthday and he celebrated by playing for us. I didn’t get to stay the whole night, since I had a busy tiring day, but I wish I did. The place is almost like a dive bar. It’s darkish, in a relatively small room, with the bar in the back. They serve bottled craft beer and a couple not so crafty beers. Plus sodas for the kids. The bartender was really cool and explained some of the beers I didn’t know of. They have a TV, which was playing Breakin Electric Boogaloo. We had a good time talking about the movie and such. There are some seats to lounge at, and pinball machines. I’m looking forward to coming back again soon.

Its a good place with good people. For such a small place the beer selection is quite wide and the bartenders are very knowledgeable about their brews. When I was there they were even offering small pours of a large format beer which was a nice touch. Its not a place to go with a large group of people because of the size and the layout can make it hard unless they are mostly empty already. One wall has two arcade machines with lots of games and about 4 pinball machines. On Tues for the Tasty Tues event they are a family friendly bar with soda and water for kids. The only issue I have is that the music they play is too loud for the type of bar they are.

We brought our kids out for the Tasty Tuesday food trucks, and it turns out you can only buy drinks inside the Milk District bars on that night. So we took the kids to Spacebar. The staff was very friendly and even though it was packed they helped find us a place to sit. We bought some really tasty root beer and played arcade games. Pretty awesome and unexpected good time. I will have to go back without the kids soon.

Tiny bar but they offer so much. Wednesdays are great for their weekly comedy show with local comics! The beer selection is awesome for such a small place. Free pinball and street fighter! I haven’t tried this but apparently you can bring your own vinyls and be the dj for the night! Sounds awesome if I had any vinyls! Take advantage guys :)

Music lovers & pinball wizards unite! Hubby & I love this place! We discovered Spacebar July 2012 after a posting about Ministry being played at its monthly themed«Panic» night. We’ve been addicted to Spacebar ever since and rarely go a week without a visit. From its weekly Bring Your Own Vinyl night which unites music lovers of all types, art shows, comedy shows, video & pinball game competition, this place has so much going on you never get bored. It’s cozy & welcoming, like a living room dance party with friends except with a way better sound system(and without waking up the neighbors!). Nice beer & wine selection which changes seasonally. The vibe and quality of people that hang out at Spacebar is top notch.

This place really isn’t too shabby. Quite honestly, it’s probably the best thing the whole milk district has to offer. They have a fairly decent beer selection, a few good wines, and friendly staff. The dj plays some pretty good stuff(or at least did when I was there) which I find to be rare these days.

With free play on pinball machines and vintage arcade games like frogger, dig dug and centipede, you can’t go wrong. The 80’s exercise videos on the wall give some fun flair while beer prices are reasonable. One of my favorite night time getaways to relax.

Only bottled beer here! Okay. Okay. Some wine and a few can beers(PBR, Coors n Yuengling cans.) Friendly bar tender. Small and cozy place with high top tables, skateboard art on the walls and three small TVs over the bar playing old time movies. I like the feel here. Home-y feel to it. Apparently Saturday nights are Bring your own Vinyl nights. Hipsters both Young and Old! Assemble!
