Amazing burger! Juicy never frozen and the bacon cheddar BBQ was awesome! Great fries and fried pickles too!!! So for a burger place, excellent

Variety of burgers, including vegetarian burgers. Also, you have the right to modify and/or create your own burger without extra charges(unless you add extra stuff). Smash fries are extra tasty and crunchy, service is fast, place, including restroom, is clean and it amazes me it’s a chain fast food restaurant. Good job!

If you’re in the area and craving a fresh, tasty burger, then look no further! Been to this place three times and they have gotten better each and every time! Friendly staff and quick service. I normally go with the Create-Your-Own burger which can also be made into a combo with fries and drink.

I wanted to try something new so I went to Smashburger. Best bacon cheeseburger I had in ages. The lady who waited on my was really nice. When I asked for extra toppings she have me some at mortars charge! Definetly will be eating here more often.

SmashBurger is a place that’s similar in concept to Burger 21 or BurgerFi. When you walk in, you’re immediately in the queue like if you walk into Chipotle. They have specialty burgers, fries, milkshakes, and a small selection of beer in cans and bottles. Shout out to Cigar City Jai Alai and Maduro. We went in and walked up to the counter were we waited for someone to come over and take our order at the register. There was one guy cooking in the back and one girl putting together orders. My boyfriend and I were joking about how long it was taking for someone to either take our order or acknowledge us. It wasn’t as funny by the time the girl walked over from bagging the food several minutes later. Enough time had passed that four other groups were also waiting now behind us. It looks like they might have been short staffed, but saying they’d be with us in a second would have gone a long way towards making the wait to order better. It’s weird that you’d just flat out ignore the large line with a dozen people like you can’t even see it. The food was pretty good. I had the jalapeño baja burger, and my boyfriend had a BBQ one. Both were good — about what you’d expect from a craft burger place. We split an order of SmashFries. Those were the real standout for me. I probably could have eaten all the fries myself. Yummy. Overall, I’d say this place is on par with other craft burger places in terms of food quality. I can’t say I’ll visit again because the service was blah since there are other options that get that right to go along with their good food.

This a review just for their milk shake, which is all I had. Super good though! It will cost you $ 4.25 for a plain milkshake like vanilla, strawberry or chocolate. They have an Oreo and peanut butter one that is a bit more. I got the strawberry milkshake and it was on point! Super rich, milky and great flavor with whipped cream on top! They make their milkshakes with only Haagen Dazs ice cream so you can really taste the richness of the ice cream. The menu looked great, will have to come back for the food! Location is in Waterford lakes but on the Home Depot side so it’s much quieter then the stores across the street, which means more parking ! Recommend the milkshake 100%

Didnt like this place the 1 time we went a year ago. Its still there, i have to say this was our last time. 1. Tons Of salt on fries and burgers 2. The big burger is slightly bugger then the smaller burger 3. We ordered against my advice a few fries, although we orderd the type without the oil had awful after taste of olive oil. Just not an option in the future

I do like coming here when I want a not so traditional burger or chicken sandwich. Compared to their competitors their burgers are smaller but they have more variety. You can add whatever protien be it chicken, beef or veggie burger to whatever flavor burger you are wanting. I love their smash fries, I just wish they weren’t the shoestring kind. They are tossed with olive oil, rosemary and garlic. You can’t leave without trying a milkshake. They are made with Hagen Daaz ice cream. My favorite flavor is the salted caramel. Another thing that makes them different is that you can enjoy a small number of craft beers. I’ve noticed that their competitors have a better selection. If you’re looking for a more upscale burger then give them a try.

Went to the Alafaya location across from Waterford Lakes. Cici at the order counter greeted us very pleasantly. We discovered she is from the Bronx as is my wife, leading to a nice conversation about New York and environs. Oh, yeah, the food. My wife, not a hamburger lover, had a chicken sandwich, a thin, spiced cutlet on a whole grain bun along with a side salad. She didn’t rave but she liked it well enough. My choice was the Create Your Own Big Burger. It was a good size, flattened out(hence the name, Smashburger, I guess) maybe a third of a pound, I’m not sure. I added Swiss cheese, grilled onions and tomato with a large side of French fries. The fries were of the shoestring variety, not my favorite cut, but were tasty and without a trace of grease. As for the burger, a word of warning: It was MESSY! As soon as I picked it up it started to slide out of the bun. I managed to take a bite and immediately no longer cared about how messy it was. It was a very good burger, definitely on par with Five Guys, with a similar flavor. Wiping my mouth after every bite was a mandatory activity but so what. The bill came to about $ 22 with a soda. Pretty comparable to their competitors. We decided we would certainly be back the next time we find ourselves in the area. Cici hooked us up with some coupons for free sides next time around and we left fat and happy. Ok, so I was fat when I went in, big deal.

There is a proliferation of burger joints in the area, and my husband seems bent on trying them all. I like hamburgers and appreciate good ones, but I don’t obsess over them the way some people do. The burger I tried at Smash Burger was decent. It certainly wasn’t bad, but it gave me no reason to want to have it again. It was mediocre. It blends in with all of the burgers I’ve had at fast food joints over the years. Perhaps the problem is I went in expecting something life-changing(yes, I have high expectations for food) and was disappointed. But when there is a strong burger game going on in Central Florida(BB Junction still tops my list), I guess I want to be wowed. And I wasn’t.

My experience here left much to be desired although was not a terrible trip. The Pros of my Smashburger trip: –The staff were super friendly –The food came out quick –The food was hot –Everything tasted good The Cons: –The front door looked as if it had the remnants of at least a weeks worth of burger grease off of patrons hands — The seats, booth benches in particular, had the remnants of a weeks worth of food sprinkled about. — The burger was good but did not leave me craving another visit. I feel like Smashburger could easily have a drive thru and compete with other fast food joints like McDonalds and Burger King but they are no where near a Burger Fi or Burger 21, as I assumed them to be based on location and prices.

Not bad, not great. First time there and I found it to be a little pricey for burger and fries. Everything is an addition. $ 6+ for a burger, $ 2 for fries, $ 2 for a drink. About $ 10 per person. The burger was just ok. The regular fries are shoe string, not my fav. I do like that they a lot of options for burgers. Just another burger joint, nothing special.

I was looking for a good burger place in the area and wasn’t in the mood for five guys(their burgers are too greasy for my taste). So I searched and came across this place! I had a little bit of trouble finding the place but I’m glad I kept looking(it’s located right next to eyeglass world!). Once I got in I looked at the menu and immediately knew what I wanted– buffalo and blue cheese burger? Heck yes! I also got an Oreo cookies and cream milkshake and a large smash fries(olive oil, Rosemary, and garlic) to share with my fiancé. I’m not kidding one bit when I say the service here is super quick. I was getting water from the soda fountain right after ordering and when I got back to my table my burger was already there! Holy smokes that’s fast service! My fiancés burger and shake came out only seconds after and so did my shake and our order of fries! We had multiple employees come up to us while we were eating asking if everything was going alright. The service was great! The resturants itself is pretty big and has a good amount of seating space! You don’t feel cramped or anything like that. –Buffalo Blue Cheese burger: Amazing! I love anything with buffalo sauce on it so I was in heaven and they were not stingy with the blue cheese! I would most definitely recommend this burger! –Smash Fries: The larger order of fries is definitely large, our fries were great! They tasted fresh and weren’t too greasy or undercooked! –Oreo shake– The shake was one of the best cookies and cream shakes I’ve had in a long time! It was creamy and included a good amount of the cookie which I love! It turns out they use Haagen-Dazs ice cream and Oreo cookies to make their hand-spun Oreo shake. No wonder it was great! Overall, this place is a must if you love good burgers and shakes!

This is similar to five guys, but much nicer and more options/toppings. The burgers we ordered were 1/3lb. We did Create Your Own. I got grilled onion and American cheese(nothing fancy). I typically like my burgers a little on the bloody side, but I understand with such a thin burger it is very difficult to heat it to the right temp and still get some blood. It was cooked very well and very juicy. I also got a strawberry milk shake which was very yummy. Their fries are thin and crispy just how I like! The staff here was very friendly and attentive. I recommend following them on Instagram. They frequently post deals and savings for their followers. Today we got BOGO on our burgers.

You should try this place at least once. It’s not the best burger I’ve had, but it is decent. As everyone has said before, the customer service is top notch at this place. I’ve been to a location in Colorado and probably had some slight nostalgia leading up to trying this place again. I was a little disappointed with the quality of the food. I had the regular cheeseburger with the fixings. It was bland. The fries on the other had were very good. A bit similar to steak and shake’s, but they give you the option to shake things up by offering different toppings and flavors(like parmesan and rosemary, or buffalo style). And, It’s not that as if the food was terrible, it was just that I’ve been to a few other burger places in the area that really do it well, like BurgerFi. In the end, I would return to this place if I were in the area, it just wouldn’t be my first choice.

I’m giving Smashburger five stars based on Customer Service first and the food second. Yesterday I had a craving for a burger and the first place that came to mind was Smashburger. I had trouble finding it so I called and they informed me of their location on Alafaya Trail in the Home Depot Plaza. As I arrived, I received a follow up call from the restaurant wanting to know if I had found them. I found that to be exceptional, they actually took the time to call and find out if I was still lost. As you walk in, the place is elegantly decorated with dark wood floors and everything was spotless. The young man at the register was polite and he actually came around to our table to make sure we were satisfied with our meal. Having never been to a Smashburger, I decided to order the Classic Smash which is a simple hamburger with Smash Sauce, Cheese, Pickles, Lettuce, Onions and Tomatoes. I asked the young man about the Smash sauce and he explained it was a blend of mayonnaise, yellow mustard, pickled relish and lemon juice. He mentioned it was a bit like Thousand Island which I enjoy quite much. My burger was flavorful but what took the cake for me were the Smash Fries! These fries are spectacular in my opinion, I could eat just fries and be happy. Smash fries are shoe string tossed in rosemary, olive oil and garlic, what else can you ask for! They also serve fresh salads, chicken sandwiches, Haagen Dazs milkshakes, beer and soda products. I plan on becoming a regular because those fries are addicting and I do want to try some of the other burger concoctions they have to offer.

Yet another upscale hamburger, fries, and shake restaurant that is a huge improvement over Mc Donalds or Burger King. I had the burger with avacado and fries. I thought it was about the same as Five Guys and had not complaints other than the service was super slow the day I was there.

Ever since my last trip to Denver, I’ve wondered what I missed by passing on the Smashburger experience to visit a nearby Irish pub instead. So, we «Smashed and Dashed» this new location in Waterford(Because clearly there aren’t already enough food options in this area) and ordered a number of things on the menu. Maybe our expectations were too high, but both the burger and the chicken sandwich didn’t meet them. Despite the freshness, the overall flavor wasn’t that distinct and that bun-to-burger ratio was just too much in favor of the former. The sides we sampled were better, especially the delicious veggie frites that exceeded my expectations. It is well-documented how Smashburger prepares their fries and they were really good too. Cannot say the same for the fried pickles, which were flimsy and not even close to the insanely perfect ones we always get at 4Rivers. Ordering online was very easy and credit both the kitchen for preparing everything exactly to our specifications and the employees for being attentive and friendly for the brief time I was in the store. For just over $ 21 minus drinks, we were both full from the meal but were left wondering if ordering our burger and chicken a different way would have produced a more flavorful result.

The wife had heard about Smashburger from a few of her coworkers so we thought we’d give them a try. We typically avoid burger franchises and tend to stick to locally owned businesses but because of what she was told about the food, we thought we’d give them a try. When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was that they chose an odd location in Waterford Lakes. If you have ever been to Waterford you know that some areas are harder than others to access in heavy traffic. They did not pick a good location to put their business in my opinion due to traffic flow and parking. The inside was rather large but there is one area with very few tables which seemed odd for a dining area of this size. You place your order and they give you a number and then your food is brought to you. She chose the regular Spicy Jalapeño Baja with a regular Buffalo Fires with a cup of water and I tried the Large Avocado Club with a regular smashfries and a Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake. $ 23.00 and change seemed a bit excessive for what we ordered so I was expecting some great food for this price. First I was brought my milkshake and I will admit, it was one of the best milkshakes I have ever tried. I have had this same style milkshake from several other places but this was the best PBnJ version I have had. The best part was how small pieces of the peanut butter came through the straw and melted on your tongue. Well done… My wife loved her burger but since Jalapeño’s and I don’t get along well, I took her word for it. Her favorite part was the fresh Jalapeño’s. Her fries were well cooked but were far from«Buffalo style» because they skimped on the spicy seasoning. My burger was cooked well but… The mayo was overpowering the avocado and they did not spread out the avocado so it was just like a single lump. I had one bite where there was no mayo and that was great. 86 the mayo or just put it on the side guys. The smashfries had a great flavor but too much oil on them. A light toss with the rosemary oil would have been better. After our meal my wife noticed she forgot to give me a $ 2.00 off coupon when I was at the register. I let the cashier know and the manager came right over and took it off my meal. He handled the situation very well and I let him know about the quality of service one of his employees was providing to keep the dining area spotless. I was up front with him of the assessment of our dining experience and let him know I would be posting a review. He was very humble and seemed genuinely interested in what I will post. Summary: The food had some minor issues but nothing too severe but I just feel they have priced their food too high given that it is not a full service restaurant. I have trouble seeing this place making it long term given the competition in the area at the prices they offer.

At Smashburger, the secret is in the smash. It starts with 100-percent fresh, never frozen, All-natural Certified Angus Beef and is smashed on a 400 degree flat grill to sear in the juicy flavor. To further the«better burger» experience, the delicious burgers are served on toasted artisan buns and topped with a selection of fresh produce, real cheeses, and high quality condiments. The menu is more than just burgers, as customers can enjoy a selection of tender marinated grilled or crispy chicken sandwiches and fresh tossed signature salads, along with a variety of irresistible sides. Some unique side items include the rosemary and garlic seasoned Smashfries, Haystack Onions, and Veggie Frites(flash-fried and seasoned carrot sticks and green beans). The restaurant will also serve a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages ranging from handspun shakes, root-beer floats in frosted mugs and beer. The East Colonial Drive location was the first location to open in Orlando. The second Orlando location on N. Alafaya Trail is 3000 square-feet and has dining room seating to accommodate 102 guests. In addition to seasoned«Smash Fries» and regular fries, the Sweet Potato Fries were crispy and delicious. The Veggie Frites are a healthier choice for those of you wanting to cut back a little. Of course, you can never go wrong with Fried Pickles. The salad was pretty tasty as well, if you are not up for a burger. One of my favorites was the BBQ, Bacon and Cheddar Burger with crispy fried onion strings. The Truffle Mushroom Swiss was a blissful burger to eat as well. For some spice in your life, the Spicy Jalapeño Baja Burger is where the heat is. It even has a chipotle bun. The Central Florida Smashburger with melted Wicked pimina cheese, fried green tomatoes, lettuce, mayonnaise & Gulden’s spicy brown mustard on an egg bun was pretty damn good.
