The Return of the seasonal stores!
Every Halloween empty store space in your favorite strip mall will be rented out by various halloween costume shops. This place popped up in my backyard almost overnight and while I was oging to do my weekly shopping last week I figured I’d check it out.
The Good:
Lots of Costumes!: The space that they rented out is fairly huge, and they managed to stuff it full of all kinds of custumes. You’ve got everything form baby costumes to plus sized adult costumes, and there’s something to fit every budget here as well
Makeup and Accessories: If you are going out for halloween and are willing to spend a bit more money on makeup and accessories for your look, you can find basically all you need here, whether it beplastic scythes to chalky vampire makeup
The bad:
Sleazy costumes: some of this stuff doesn’t really look like proper costumes, more like lingerie. I mean some of this stuff was completely gratuitous and I’m not sure how comfortable I’d feel walking past some of these costumes with a kid in tow.
