Roho Art & Coffee

11AM on a Saturday and they were closed, the door was locked and no one was home. Very disappointed!

Great local coffee shop, with oodles of wifi, solid espresso, and luscious empanadas.
They recently closed, and it sounds like they are coming back under new management shortly — they assured me the iced coffee cubes would be back.

Completely agree with Keats H. regarding Roho’s iced coffee. It’s easily the best you’ll find in Orlando.
Haven’t tried the food yet but since I’m a fat kid, it’s inevitable I’ll stop in someday and have a guava and cheese pastry or something.

I’m a big fan of the iced coffee, espicially during the summer. But the bad thing, is that the ice inevitably melts and the last ¹⁄₃ of the iced coffee tastes like crap.
Well, the entrepenuers at Roho’s have come up with a solution– make coffee ice cubes. This way you can enjoy your coffee, even if you are walking outside and the ice has melted.
Sheer genius!

Also, the lady/​owner who works behind the counter is super-​nice and she made me an off-​menu item, for super cheap. Going here is, indeed, a true pleasure!

Tons of great artwork on loan. Warning: if you are trying to study, you may find yourself contemplating the fantastic paintings instead.

Keats’ recommends the Roho café. Check it the iced coffee for yourself!

Had the cuban sandwich. It was pretty good, but seemed kind of skimpy for $ 5.50. It’s a really neat little coffee shop, though, and I will be returning to give their espresso macchiato a test run.

Roho Art & Coffee is located in the CityArts Factory building and serves up some great coffee at a decent price. It is nice every now and then to go to a local coffee house, one where you cannot stumble into another one mirroring it across the street.
Roho has lots of delicious coffee offerings, as well as teas and some coffee house snacks (muffins, breads, etc.). The interior is quite nice and they have large windows making people watching in the heart of downtown easy and fun.

I’m going to go ahead and award Roho one more star based on their walk-​up window. I didn’t notice it the first time I was there, but today I realized that to the right of the main entrance, they have a window and a full menu for anyone that doesn’t feel like going inside. It is a unique addition and sets them apart from the other downtown cafes.
