This voyage is a cute and fun excursion at Walt Disney World. You must reserve your spot through the phone number listed above and pay in advanced. The website has more info on the details of that. Onward to the review! You check in about 15 min prior to the start time(time varies on nights so check with the hotel front desk that morning). You then receive a card with either Hook or Smee on it with your family/party name and seat assignments on the boat. And you’re given pirate bandanas! Yay! At the starting time, they have what seems to be an unlimited supply of the following: Cotton Candy. Pretzels(in a bag). Mickey ice cream sandwiches. Mickey ice cream bars. Minute Maid frozen pink lemonade & frozen regular lemonade. 2 giant sheet cakes cut up for you. Gold chocolate coins. prepackaged popcorn. And so much more that I don’t remember right now. You can take as many as you’d like, stuff them in your pockets or purse/bag, it’s all for you! Then they’ll have Hook & Smee come out for pictures/meet & greet/autograph signings! I love that! And as soon as they’re done with that, they’ll start diving the group up per your card you received at the start. Hook on one side, Smee on the other, and load up onto the boats. Once out on the water, they’ll position the boats so you can see the Electrical Water Pageant. It’s a cute display of lights on the water, but very dated. Then they’ll get in position for the fireworks in front of Magic Kingdom. During that process the Pirate Captain on your boat is very good at keeping you distracted cuz it takes about 15 – 20 min before the fireworks. He asks where each family is from, makes a quick joke about each state/city,(unless you’re from«the great country of Texas»!). He’ll go through any birthdays and celebrations, make announcements and congratulations accordingly. It’s very fun and magical for each and every guest on board. Then the fireworks start and the music is pumped onto the boats too so you don’t miss out on anything. The view from the lake is really awesome, you still see the castle since it’s so big. Once the fireworks are over, you’ll meet a special guest waiting for you back at the docks, for a meet & greet/autograph session just for you. :) Overall, this excursion is GREAT for kids & adults alike, even if you’re not particularly a fan of pirates. It’s great fun for all ages, and it’s quite magical to see the fireworks from the lake in front of Magic Kingdom.
