Oh man. I love visiting this little gem. Mainly for the FIGBARS. Thank you, Olde Hearth, for intensifying my addiction to figs and for creating something that is vegan AND delicious. Let’s be honest… this doesn’t always happen. Also, thank you for offering to cut up the bread we buy. It makes it that much more convenient when I snack on it on my way home :) Or dip it in the soup I buy next door. All in all this place is lovely. Prices are great. Service is excellent and the breads/cookies/baked goods are HEAVENLY. Fresh and quality. It’s what I am looking for and always a treat. Thank you!

Stop in each week to get fresh sliced bread. Since there aren’t all the chemicals like most breads, you do need to put in the fridge or it will go bad somewhat quickly. in the fridge, it will stay for about a week or so. Friendly staff, quick in and out for decent quality.

Olde Hearth is just one of those places that makes you feel like you’re at home. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming and you are surrounded by delicious artisan bread. The workers are always extremely friendly and outgoing. Every time someone visits me in Orlando I bring them here and they always love it! My go to is always the olive loaf! Their olive bread is so amazing and tastes divine with a little bit of butter or a seasoned oil dip. Recently, I discovered their ginger snaps! I almost wish I hadn’t because I’m essentially an addict at this point. I went in and bought 8 today, because they are only a QUARTER! What?! Yep. We always buy ginger snaps back home around christmas time and these kick those cookies in the butt. Normally ginger snaps are pretty crisp, but these are so soft and delicious and have the perfect ginger bite. They are honestly the best I have EVER had. Also get their peanut butter sandwich cookies! and their muffins… and everything else!

Swung by the East End Market after a client meeting. It is a really cool concept with multiple businesses including a coffee shop, a bookstore, an Italian restaurant and even plant shop. There were a few others as well. Olde Hearth Bread Company is right in the front and their bread is divine! I was quickly greeted by a friendly woman at the counter of Olde Hearth. I ordered a plain croissant, which was bigger than my hand, and we chatted for a few minutes about farming since the market has a huge garden plot out front. She was extremely nice and super friendly. I ate the croissant and it was exactly how a croissant should be. Buttery, flaky and soft. They had at least a dozen different loaves of breads to choose from and at least 10 different bakery items. It is definitely worth it to check this place out. The prices are really fair too! My croissant was $ 2.25.

The reason I even visit East End is due to this place. Olde Hearth is an artisan bakery, but also sell pastries and jam products. It is high in quality, use«healthier» organic flours, no preservatives and plentiful. I always come here for the sourdough bread. Surprisingly, the bread takes much longer to go staler than other sourdough somewhere else. While here, I always order the daily special bakery too. Some of my favorites are the guava tart and Rasp tart. If you happen to be at East End, this place is a must! Plus the price is so reasonable comparable to the rest of the vendors at East End.

These hand made breads are seriously addictive — you’ve been warned. The pumpkin muffin is a personal fave, but they offer a wide variety of both pastries and breads here. The smell of fresh bread alone is enough to sway me into this place. Vegan? They have several bread loaf options that are vegan friendly — which is hard to find, so this is a great offering! Staff is always friendly and welcoming. They take cards and cash, regardless of price point of the order, which is really helpful if you don’t always have cash on you. Overall: A Pumpkin Muffin… mmmmm…

Great service and tasty pastries! Staff is knowledgeable and eager to help. I asked the employee for suggestions when choosing a breakfast bread. She discussed several suggestions and I was pleased and chose with excitment. The pastries were fairly priced, but I feel like the bread was too expensive.

Olde Hearth’s ‘brick and mortar’ location in East End is a regular stop whenever I’m in the area and looking for a snack that’s not sweet. The staff are friendly(hi, Madison!) and the goods are well organized and typically have the prices readily displayed. I typically get a croissant and like how they’re flaky and substantial. Not too dense, not too crusty and buttery, and the almond one has a homemade marzipan(?) in the middle that is delish. I wish there were a way I could warm them up, but unless laser vision or portable microwaves make themselves readily available, I’ll continue eating them as they are. Which is wonderful. I’ve also come here to buy bread and have enjoyed the loaves purchased here. You can find some interesting flavor combinations, at one point I think I saw a boule with mango, but I regrettably didn’t purchase it. Overall, I’m a fan of Olde Hearth and will continue to consume these glutenous goodies.

Olde Hearth Bread Company makes amazing baked goods, delicious coffee and sinful hot cocoa with homemade marshmallows. Before ordering our wedding cupcakes, I scoured the GTA for the best chocolate cake. As a home baker myself, I’m very picky about what I purchase and my wedding cake had to be delicious. Everything I have eaten there(including the macrons, cupcakes, biscotti, butter tart and apple tartlette) are delicious. The owners are absolutely lovely and made the ordering process a breeze. Aside from my wedding cupcakes I have also ordered a delicious vanilla cake for a friend’s birthday and casis and raspberry macrons for my bridal shower. Everything was delicious. I wish they were located closer to my house(although that could be problematic).

I’ve never had a pastry here that was less incredible. Scones, their version of pop tarts, muffins. It’s all good.

The baked goods immediately caught my eye in this shop when I entered East End Market. The bakery is filled with fresh breads and sweet treats. I had seen several photos on Instagram of the peanut butter sandwich cookies and they were only 75 cents when I visited so I picked up 2. I ate them after dinner later that afternoon and they were delicious. The owners should be proud of more than just their baked goods though. SJ was working in the store at the time of my visit and she was the most pleasant person one could ever meet. She has such a warm and friendly disposition. She engaged each customer in a genuine conversation. Her level of attention and service made this experience much more memorable than the two peanut butter cookies. I felt like I was in a family owned bakery not a local chain and it was nice.

Easy to find at the front right of the East End Market. We got an Italian round loaf and a couple of Danish. I tore into the bread right away; even at the end of the day the scent of a crusty fresh loaf was amazing. The Danish also smell unbelievable but I am waiting until after our breakfast-for-dinner to eat mine. The only reason I’m leaving four stars instead of five is because of the lack of selection, which was of course my fault as it was late in the day. I will amend upon future visits once I can confirm more variety earlier in the day.

For all things carbalicious, come here! If you’re looking for local bread and pastry options this is the place to check out. It’s all so overwhelming. Forget candy, this is MY candy store! I’m crazy about sweets and pastries and could go hog wild with all the options. But I have to pace myself. My new, favorite thing to do now when I feel like spoiling myself is swinging by on a weekday morning, grabbing coffee from Lineage and then coming here for a goodie. Just a hint– the blueberry scones are out of this world!!!

I fell in love with the super-friendly customer service I received here during a recent trip to Orlando. I walked away with a loaf of sourdough, a twisted pretzel and an oatmeal raisin cookie, all freshly-baked that morning. And it was incredibly hard not to devour all three on the ride back to the resort! Unfortunately for me, I’m not a Florida resident, but if you’re local or visiting Orlando and making out your list of must-stops, put this at the top!

Excellent customer service and eats. I stopped by on Saturday when I was rushing to grab a coffee in the market. Kristen(or maybe Kirsten) the manager had me try some amazing jams from Sun Chowders Emporia. Such amazing preservative free stuff. I was so impressed with her service and the jams I came back yesterday when I had time to make my purchase. She was very helpful and had me try some cheese, pickles, peppers, and other jams. I came home with 6 jars of goodness!

Inside East End Market, Olde Hearth greets you in the front with a huge, warm, smile! That’s right, the bread actually smiles and waves as you walk by. Well, maybe not, but the smell does! Two things you absolutely can NOT miss here: 1. The mini peanut butter cookie sammies — be prepared, they sometimes run out so make this your first stop. 2. The granola.(Thanks, Andi P!) The granola is Oats, Almonds, Honey, Canola Oil, Pumpkin Seeds, Sesame Seeds, Sunflower Seeds, Brown Sugar and Sea Salt. Delicious alone, in yogurt or on top of peanut butter. They have an array of items that will make your crave carbs! Baguettes, rolls, bread, nann, lavash, crisps, bragels(yes, steamed instead of boiled, flavors inc Butter Bread, French Onion, Multigrain, Raisin etc), scones, cookies, biscotti, muffins, and MORE! Hurry, get over here soon and try one of everything. They also have a wholesale bakery in Casselberry. Various locations around Central FL also use their sandwich rolls and bread. It’s a treat when you are enjoying locally made, all natural items — unbleached and unbromated flours and preservative-free ingredients only are used. Support local, ya’ll! Also, check out their recipes on their blog.

For a tiny store front, this place packs a punch! I love, love, love a good cheese danish. So one morning this week, after dropping off Bugsy, at Canine Glamour Club for his monthly bath, I wanted a treat. I remembered Olde Hearth Bread Company was open at 8 am in East End Market. It was a nice surprise to see Danishes when I walked in. And not just any Danish, but the holy grail of Danish, CHEESE. This Danish was awesome and only 2 bucks to boot! Lots of cheese filling and plenty of soft tender Danish. The counter girl was just setting up so I did not have the full effect of the store front but from the looks of it, they were going to set up an awesome bread wall. I have enjoyed Olde Hearth Bread Company’s bread for many years. Always a awesome product. And a bonus, support a local business!

Located at the front of the East End Market across from Local Roots Farm Store, but also located at various area Farmer’s Markets– including the Winter Park Farmer’s Market. If you’ve never had the pleasure of Olde Hearth Bread, leave now and get some. I’ve been buying Olde Hearth products for years and years, they are fabulous. The favorites are too numerous to list, but the EEM location always has a nice assortment of breads and pastry items. The flatbreads are amazing and will elevate whatever toppings you put on them to «This is amazing» status. Crackers, awesome. Kalamata olive bread(or rolls) awesome. Cheese twists– delicious. Cookies, yum. New Peanut putter sandwich cookies– so good! Muffins, delicious! Scones– yummy and tender! I think it’s great that the EEM vendors offering sandwiches are serving on the Old Hearth breads and rolls. The Panini I had from Houndstooth was spectacular and made on Olde Hearth. The staff is always delightful, helpful and will to climb any height at the new set up at EEM to get your particular item. Plan to get their earlier in the day if you have your heart set on a particular item, they sell out.
