Checked out the glasses for my wife. Went online … scanned it to Amazon … did a search for a half hour and … yes … surprising enough they had the base price. Thought being IN Universal prices would be much higher, as we’ve seen at other places. With the same model number and our annual pass she got the Ray-Bans she wanted for less than the cheapest place we could find, which was Amazon. Take the Amazon phone app and scan anything you see anywhere you see it in the park or outside. Amazon is a a great way to find out if you’re being taken for a ride or not. Customer service was EXCELLENT! They are NOT used care sales people. I don’t know if they make a commission or not but we didn’t feel like we were being hounded or pressured. We were in Downtown Disney at the Oakley Shop and the place next to Spiderman in Islands of Adventure … the Oakley shop polished my glasses … and really kissing ass … the island of Adventure were juggling us with all different types of sunglasses and wasn’t really listening to my wife. Overall, great experience and would recommend purchasing here … throwing down $ 200 for a pair of glasses is stressful but you’ll be taken care of!

This Oakley shop is located inside the Universal Studios Theme Park. It is towards the back of the Park near the Transformers attractions. I purchased my very first pair of Oakley sunglasses from here back in 2006. Thanks to my annual pass, I received a 20% discount at the time. When you’re buying $ 200 sunglasses, that 20% off really comes in handy! After I purchased them(polarized lenses are the only way to go), we walked outside and hubby tried them on. He looked up directly at the sun without even squinting(yes, you can do that with these awesome shades) and I knew the look that came over his face. LOL I asked him if he wanted a pair and he was quick to nod«yes.» We turned around and went right back in the store and purchased him a pair. Since that time, we’ve each purchased another pair from here. The employees here are exceptional. Even though they are located in the Theme Park, the employees do not work for Universal Studios, they work directly for Oakley, so they know what they are talking about. When I first came here, I knew nothing about Oakley. I was having migraines from the bright FL sun and a friend suggested I try a pair of Oakley sunglasses with the polarized lenses. The girl helping me didn’t mind answering the million and one questions I had. Yes, I asked A LOT of questions before I dropped $ 200 on sunglasses. She even hooked up both me and my hubby with the hard Oakley cases(which run about $ 40 each) free of charge and also threw in sunglass cords. Did I happen to mention how amazing the customer service is here?! They carry a wide selection of lenses and frames. So you shouldn’t have a problem finding exactly what you are looking for. I know most people don’t enter into a Theme Park on a mission to purchase Oakley sunglasses, but it’s a GREAT shop. And if you’re a local and have an annual pass, this is definitely where you should come to make all your Oakley purchases! These sunglasses were one of the best purchases I have ever made. My migraines stopped. I am now and will forever be a loyal Oakley customer.
