NYPD Pizza

I was kind of surprised to see the not so great reviews on here as my experience with NYPD Pizza has been pretty darn great. A friend recommended it to me because it’s near my new house where we’ve been painting up a storm for the past couple of weeks. We’ve ordered NYPD several times and each time they have been nice on the phone, provided speedy delivery, and their delivery people have been super sweet.
The food itself is really great as well! I love their Greek Salad, pesto pizza with meatballs (so delicious!), and their meatball subs are off the chain. I’m craving a meatball sub from there as I write this!
I definitely recommend NYPD and love that I live close enough to be delivered to by them. I would give them another shot if you had a negative experience with them in the past because they seem to have really stepped it up!

Best pizza I’ve had in Orlando. The Bayside Bianca (white pizza) was especially good. Service was very fast, too. Looking forward to returning for their lunch special (which goes until 6 pm). Highly recommended!

First walked in didn’t get greeted by the server or anyone. Went to the register where a menu was on the counter. Guy who was working the desk was taking orders on the phone. Took him 5 mins to tell me he would be w/​me. Stood there 5 mins continuing to wait. Finally he got off the phone and instead of taking my order he continued to work on other orders. In service if a customer is in front of you waiting To be helped, help them then continue. The waitress didn’t bother helping him during this whole time. This is my first visit here and I will never come here again or recommend to anyone due to the poor service i received today. I’m from New York just Moved here from there and no pizza shop in New York would have had a paying customer sitting there standing 5 mins waiting for service. So whoever runs this needs to get onto his people who see paying faces.

I bought a groupon and figured I’d give this place a chance as its on my way home from work. I was not impressed in fact I think it is the worst pizza I’ve ate from a Restaraunt even hungry Howies is better than this. I like New York style pizza with a thin flavorful crust but this was so bland. I’m not sure they added any seasoning to the crust or sauce you can see from my picture I had to bring out all my spices and toppings to try to save the pie I just bought. No thank you!

Have to begin with a caveat: I got my family’s left overs after they ate here. I tried a pepperoni, sausage, banana pepper, and onion slice after they got back from the restaurant. True New York style with a super thin crust. I thought the crust and toppings tasted great. I’m enjoying a cheese slice cold for lunch today. You know a pizza is good if it tastes as good or better the next day.

Will not be coming back to college park location. Passed off twice while trying to order on the phone. Then when I go in to pay the cashier, instead of handing me the credit card back, tosses my credit card back to me on the counter. I expect myself and my property to be treated with respect when I am being courteous and polite. Could be the greatest pizza ever but the staff isn’t worth my time or money again.

So I’ve had the pizza from here several time over the last few years, and I don’t have any complaints about the food. Their BBQ chicken pizza has to be my favorite, which is why I’m so disappointed in my last two visits. Two months ago I ordered pick-​up and they ended up making the wrong pizza, so I waited for the right one and the manager let me take both for my trouble. They turned around the second one in 15 mins, very hot when they gave it to me. The manager was very nice and great customer service.
The second time was quite worse. I was on my way back from jumping my girlfriend’s car and decided to stop in for a pizza as I wasn’t feeling up to cooking. I ordered a 14″ BBQ chicken pizza and garlic knots (my go-​to). I paid and told the waitress I would be outside as I had my dog with me. Told me it would be 20 – 25 mins. A little over 25 mins later I threw by dog back in the car and went inside to check on the pizza. Turns out they had given it to a dine-​in table that walked in while I was sitting there. Worse off that wasn’t even the pizza they ordered. Guy said that he would make me another by since I paid there was nothing else they could do… waited another 25 mins until the delivery diver came out to give me my pizza. At this point I didn’t care to argue as I was just hungry and ready to be home. (ordered at 7:21…got in my car to leave at 8:11)
I’m not saying this is a bad place to eat, in fact the food is really good. Just wish they would work on getting me the right pizza…

Love the pizza. Tuesday’s are great but one get a free cheese. Best pizza around Orlando.

I write this without looking at other reviews. Ordered last Tuesday which is also Bogo pizza day. I was happy to walk out with 2 pizzas and had a glass of wine while I waited and only spend about $ 22 so not bad. The pizza was not New York in my opinion. It honestly tasted no different than any other place in the area. Sometimes we will give a place a 2^nd chance but I don’t feel the need.

The only pizza place I’ll order from! And that says a lot coming from a pizza addict. New York style pizza and the sauce is perfect! I order every weeks sometimes twice. or three times who’s to judge.

I just left there and I ordered the veggie roll, and it was amazing! I am from New Jersey, and it was so tasty. Beautiful spinach, and tomatos and big mushrooms! The crust on the roll was cripsy without being overdone! Hot and satisfying to every tastebud! The husband and the kids had a cheese pie equally deliteful! Fast curtious service and reasonably priced. If you are in the area of College Park, you must stop by!!! Oh, and don’t forget to order the hot fresh zepoli to compliment the outstanding 5 star meal you will come to find at NYPD pizza.

Always good food. Good beer.

I called them to order delivery and this rude girl Ariel answered; she seemed like I was bothering her. She put me on hold then after 2 min waiting, I got hung up on.
I called back 4 times and no one answered! It made zero sense. I waited 5 min then called back just to see if someone would answer. Ariel answered again. I was like «you hung up on me». She said it was the phone…
Then asked if I «wanted to order something or…» But couldn’t hear me because an employee around her was loud. So after correcting my address like 6 or 7 times, I finally got my order in and she said okay it’ll be this much then said and 30 – 45 min then hung up.
I have a coupon. She didn’t even give me a chance to let her know.
I would try and fight it but at this point I just don’t even want to deal with all that.
And they wonder why Raggazzis and dominos does so well…

Still waiting… You guys said 1 hour it’s now been an hour and 25 minutes!!! I called once and the girl that answered said… «It’s not here so I imagine it’s on it’s way!» I just called back and the guy said… Your ticket didn’t print out so it wasn’t hanging up… It’s leaving now… OH– and stop saying «there’s a lot of traffic out there». You are driving down Edgewater… NOT I4!!! Not ordering from you guys again til you fix the issues in house! Call and say «it’s going to be late we effed up»

Needless to say, hospital food is not good.
Even at great facilities like Florida Hospital, we laugh at the food that is brought to the rooms.
Think of what an elementary school turkey sandwich looks like. Now think even more pathetic.
So when someone you care about is stuck in the hospital and suddenly sends you an urgent text message for pizza, you have to make it happen.
While I’m not a regular in the College Park area, I knew there would have to be pizza available over there and Unilocal assisted me with some options.
However, I only needed a couple slices and that is not always easy to find unless you are in New York, Chicago or Las Vegas.
I chose NYPD because it posted a sign in the window about a «Slice of the day,» but I was told inside that the promotion is daily until 6pm and I was about an hour too late.
However, the employee said he would make me sicilian slices fresh and it would only take about 10 minutes.
He and every employee in there were very friendly and I was thrilled to walk out of there after a brief wait with slices that were hot and smelled fantastic even according to the nurses passing me in the hallways of the hospital.
When I’m back near College Park before 6pm, I may enjoy that «Slice of the day» promotion for myself.

Last night I won 4 $ 25 gift certificates to NYPD pizza from a silent auction. Unfortunately when I looked at the certificates this morning the expiration date written down on them was the same as the issued date. I realized this was probably an error and hoped it would not cause issues when I ordered my pizza today. When I called the individual was uncertain how to address the problem but assured me I could use my certificate for my order. When I arrived to pick up the order there was no issues. Everything went smoothly and they even corrected the expiration date on my remaining 3 certificates. I was very impressed at how friendly they are and how well they handled the situation. Of course the pizza was also good. I enjoyed the boneless chicken wings as well. With or without gift certificates we would be back. I have my eye on the Sicilian stuffed pizza for the next visit.

Came for a pizza before going to movie. Just felt like a pizza. Ordered the BBQ chicken pizza Da Bronx. It was so good. Just the right amount of topping and sauce. The crust was excellent One of the best pizza’s I’ve had. The server was awesome & very friendly. I wish I had gotten her name because she made the experience even better, thus the 4 stars! Great job and I’ll be going back soon!

Went in for lunch on a Saturday and there were only a couple of other people there. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast.
We had a coupon for a free cheese pizza so we ordered that, garlic knots, and meatballs. The meatballs were tasty but I wish the bread and sauce had a little more flavor. Next time I go I’ll order more toppings to see if that boosts the taste.

Pretty tasty. I stopped in after my massage (healthy, right?) I’m a simple girl and got a pepperoni pizza for carry out. They said it would take 25 minutes, but it was probably only 10 – 15 minutes.
I enjoyed the pizza. I didn’t try anything else. Was tempted by the garlic knots — next time maybe.

Went and had lunch with a co worker and we so happen to be craving pizza.
We order a roll I had the sausage and my co worker had a the pepperoni one. Omg amazing!
My advice if you go during ouch hour 12−1pm you better go with some patients because they are super slow but worth it because the food is great.
The pizza is not like the good NYC kind but 85% as close as you can get.
They have out side seating but geez to hot to Sit outside. Parking is kind of tight too.
But again the food is good!
