With so many Cajun crawfish restaurants in the Orlando area, it’s hard to stick out and be different from the rest. I’ve always been a loyal fan of New Orleans Cajun Crawfish on Colonial but I was open to options and King Cajun Crawfish did a very good job convincing me they’re the the best. The restaurant itself is very clean and has plenty of booths and tables. The servers were prwtty quick the day I went and was polite. Their menu has boiled crawfish, crab and shrimp options for spices. There’s garlic butter, rajin Cajun and shabang which is a very spicy mix of all the spices with an orange zest finish. There are also hot food choices like gumbo, jambalaya and étouffée. There are also po boy sandwich options. I opted for two pounds of the mild Cajun garlic butter crawfish. It was delicious. There’s so much flavor. However the crawfish itself were hit or misses. Some were huge and juicy and clearly alive just a few minutes ago but some were tiny and cold. Seemed like they were frozen and dead. I also had the oyster po boy. I loved it. Thick plump oysters lightly seasoned and breaded, placed on a toasted French bread sub. It was great. My friend had the shabang flavor on the crawfish and said it was also very good. Lots of spicy deliciousness and not as oily as other places.

Usually love this place. Came today for lunch and wanted to meet a friend around the block. When I parked my car a lady in a gold van started shouting at me that I’m not allowed to park and leave. When I explained I’m meeting a friend around the block and coming back she yelled some more. The whole thing was rude and excessive so I just decided to leave. Beware of scary manger/parking lot security lady.

Honestly, I dont get the hype. I am in town for work and was craving some seafood and thought Cajun seafood would hit the spot. I decided to check this place out since it was close to my hotel. I ordered it to go because they were pretty busy. When I got back to my hotel, I realized they gave me the wrong thing(blue crab instead of snow crab). I should’ve checked the receipt and food before leaving so I’ll take partial blame for this. Onto the food… they ended up giving me what is called the Prince Feast. The corn and potatoes were overcooked and mushy. I liked the size of the shrimp, but didn’t taste great. I was not happy receiving the blue crab bc I was really craving snow crab legs. They cut the sausage pieces really small to make it seem like you are getting more. I got the shabang sauce(or whatever it’s called) and was not impressed. It’s a mediocre sauce at best. I would have gladly made the further drive to Hot n Juicy because what I got was not satisfying(I have been to their Vegas, Orlando and LA locations so I know the quality would have been better from experience). I’m sitting here staring at what’s left right now and that’s about 75% of it. Meh. Don’t believe the hype.

We’ve eating here three times. Always got the crawfish and always forget to ask for EXTRAMILD! There seasoning is just too hot for ys. They are happy to Tone it down as much as you like, but we just never seem to get it right. It ISHOT if you’re someone that prefers mild. We live the food though.

Uh Hello. This review is like 4 years overdue. I’ve been to Orlando twice in the past 4 years and over those 2 visits(spanning 2 weeks total), we ate here a total of 5 – 6 times. Yes, it was that good. The first time week we were in Orlando, they were in their smaller, older location just across the parking lot. They have since moved to the other side of the parking lot where the restaurant is larger and newer. The food is just as good though and the service is good. The etoufee is a must try! Get the spicy if you can handle it! We tried the mixed boils and you can’t really go wrong. Gotta get it in the whole sha-bang(a mix of all their sauces) and even their mild has got a kick to it. My suggestion if you want some spice is to ask for some mild and some medium. I don’t even want to know what the spicy is like as the medium was a lot of heat already. I keep thinking about when I can go back to Orlando, just so I can eat here!

Cajun-accented seafood location serving my favorite, crawfish. As a past New Orleans resident, I have experienced the best of the best, when it comes to food in this category. Array of quick fried meals are great, as fried food is the reason I cannot go on a diet. Crawfish can either make you or break you, depending if it is in season or not. Side order of French fries always concludes my meal, no matter how full I am from stuffing myself with crawfish. Potato salad is something I shall try the next time, as other loyal consumers favor this grub. Homemade sauces and spices are incredible. Parking is limited, especially when dining in during the evening but is well worth searching for a parking spot. While this is not Louisiana, let alone New Orleans, there is not much to offer but this nautical dig will remain on my list, while I continue experimenting other seafood locations in the neighborhood. Vietnamese owner from Louisiana knows what is up as the food is authentic and pleasing.

The new location next door is very cute. The It has a more modern crab shack kinda feel compared to the original next door. The food was am amazing as always. We always come here for crawfish. We ordered 5 lbs of crawfish with side orders of corn and potatoes. I recommend the live crawfish. The meat was fresh and sweet. Only a 2 dollars differences per pound. 9.99 per pound live vs 7.99 per frozen. I wish the plates were better and had a better disposable plates compared to the cheap forms plates. Other than that. I love the crawfish, shebang hot ! We ate 5lbs in one sitting !

So there are a few crayfish places in the Mills 50 area. Full disclosure I’ve only tried this one. But they give me no reason to look elsewhere. Service is friendly and fast. Po boys are dank.(after you sauce em up with remolade and hot sauce) Fried oysters and e’touffee are also str8 fire.

4 Stars for a feast fit for a king! Crawfish, shrimp, spice, and bibs are the norm here and they do it well. First off, I’m so glad King Cajun moved into the current larger location. It is in the heart of Mills50 but has a nice dedicated parking lot. I shared the King’s Feast($ 30+) with a friend and I must admit we could not finish the whole thing! It’s huge and includes shrimp, crab legs, potatoes, and corn– all bathing in a soup of tasty sauce! I’m a wimp when it comes to heat so I opted for the least spicy option, the plain sauce(the mild sauce is apparently not the least spicy!). I’ll admit that it was still a tad spicy for me, but the flavor was so wonderfully intense that I let my mouth burn a bit just to soak it up with more bread. Oh yes, did I mention the hot bread? Be sure to order a side of French bread. Though you won’t finish everything you’ll be glad you have something spongey to dip into that bath of salty, garlicky goodness. One thing to note is that the crab is served with a metal shellfish cracker but I would have loved it if they had served it with the metal scissors used to cut the hard shell on the meat of the crab. I ended up using my nails and fingers but this simple scissor would have certainly helped. Overall the food was good(albeit still spicy hot), my hands smelled of garlic for days, and you know I dig wearing a bib in public!

This is a surprisingly good seafood restaurant and I look forward to going back. On this particular door I opted to go with the friend shrimp which was very good but a little short on salt and seasoning. The prices are quite reasonable and you can chow down on a variety of shell fish. Our server was very friendly.

We mistakenly came to this restaurant thinking it was their competitor down the street and luckily we left when we did. We sat down and our server was one of the rudest and coldest servers I have encountered in a long time. We were seated for less than 5 minutes when she came over wanting to take our order. She didn’t introduce herself nor did she explain anything about the menu. My wife had some questions about the menu options and she seemed annoyed that she had to answer. At that point, I told her we needed some time to look things over and I told my wife, we’re at the wrong place! We got up, got in the car and headed down the street to LA Boiling Seafood where we had a delicious lunch! We would’ve stayed if our server had been somewhat polite and welcoming but when people don’t realize that first impressions are important, I’ll take my hard earned cash elsewhere.

I am a sentimental fool and pine for the old hole in the wall at post apocalyptic prices, but this is still fine Crawfish and more at King Cajun 2.0.

Before leaving Orlando, it’s a must to stop by here… Even though I had crawfish two nights ago at another location I couldn’t leave without Stopping by here … They moved next door which I like cause it’s a little bit more roomier… Our waitress was really nice and sweet ! One of our corn fell on the floor and I didn’t notice til maybe a min later when she came by to drop more food off I asked to order another corn but she already brought it out !!! My kids were like she’s so cool and awesome she knew before we even asked her! That’s awesome service ! The food was great as always ! 5 lbs of crawfish hit the spot and the po boy was great as always ! French fries was yummy … Didn’t taste plain… Yummy and crunchy ! Bigger location and better service ! That’s what they needed compare to last location !

How come I can only give this place 5 stars? I literally drive from West Palm Beach to Orlando(a little less than 3 hours) just to go eat here. Ask anyone, I do not kid. I was raised on New Orleans crawfish broils and seafood; and I can say with 100% confidence, this place beats it. Ambiance: they actually just moved right next door, which is a lot bigger and of course cleaner because it’s new! You can go here for a fun lunch or a casual dinner, every mood can be achieved! Service: they are always attentive and friendly! Taste: different flavors for every taste bud! Gumbo is my favorite, the large always feeds 3 for us so we can save just enough room for the delicious, hot, perfectly seasoned crawfish/shrimp/snow crab/blue crab/sausage and corn! Overall Experience: try it! You will not be disappointed. Eat everything! I will without a doubt, recommend this place to anyone!

Forget Disney World. King Cajun Crawfish is the happiest place on earth! And, no one paid me to say that cheesy line, either! King Cajun Crawfish has been our mainstay stop on every family trip to Florida. What’s not to love about it? The service is very attentive, it’s a seafood lover’s tasty paradise, and the prices are so reasonable. It’s become so popular that they’ve moved out of their original cozy location and moved to the larger building next door.(See my tip for this place. Remember that you can park in the same parking lot but just go next door. You can’t miss it.) Make sure to order BOTH one of their seafood boils AND a po-boy sandwich. That’s right; I said order both items. You may think it’s a lot of food, which it is, by the way… but you’ll have serious food envy if you don’t listen to my advice. JUSTDOIT. My family’s usual order is the crawfish with garlic butter sauce and mild spice. To be more specific, we order FIVE pounds of crawfish because: 1.) When you buy five pounds, you get an additional pound for free 2.) My family of three has the average appetite of an entire professional football team. Next, we’d order a large shrimp po-boy sandwich. After polishing that off, we most likely would order another large shrimp po-boy for«dessert.» In short, the #1 lesson from this review is to order a seafood boil and a po-boy sandwich(or 2). Oh, and wear your stretchiest stretch pants. Have fun!

If you like seafood, Cajun or Po Boys, put King Cajun on your list. Located on North Mills Ave, there is a small parking lot on the side of the building or grab a spot on Mills. Lunch time is always packed, so get there and grab your seat before 11:30 if you can swing it. Otherwise, grab your order to go! The Shrimp Po Boy is delicious, filled with perfectly cooked, tender shrimp. To switch it up, grab the combination fried crawfish and shrimp po boy, with remoulade sauce– either are available in whole or half sizes. The half size is plenty, the whole size is huuuuuugggeeee! A most stop for all sandwich fans.

I can’t believe u haven’t written about this place yet when I come here at least once a month. I’m to focused on the food I guess. They are nestled right on Mills and just moved into their new place, right next to their old place. I’ve officially became a regular! As the waitress asked«you get an extra pound right?» Um yes give me that extra goodness in some sha bang sauce, mild which is just the right temp. I get the shell fish combo with crawfish, crab legs a couple of shrimp thrown in there topped off with corn, potatoes and sausage. I’d go with the live if available but the frozen are not bad at all. The sha bang sauce is their own creation and is a combination of everything delicious. I tried in vain to recreate it at home, huge fail. I would also recommend some of the bread mostly to soak up the sauce but also cause its warm and fresh.

I really like crawfish and I am glad that my friend took me to King Cajun! This place is really hole-in-the-wall small but the food is so mouthwatering. The food is just so GOOD! Crawfish ~ five stars. We ordered two pounds of LIVE crawfish in the garlic butter, mild sauce that had chunks of real garlic swimming in a buttery spicy sauce. Since the crawfish were fresh, the shells were easy to take off and the size of the crawfish were not small either! Large French bread ~ good portion of their bread that we used to dip and soak up the crawfish sauce. Oyster po boy ~ five stars for the GIANT fried oysters! Really delicious sandwich. Ask for the bottle of remoulade(creole aioli sauce). Jambalaya ~ not bad, spicy and ricey! and the small portion is really large. We asked for shrimp on the side since Jason is allergic to seafood. Chicken po boy ~ 0 stars! Jason got grilled chicken and the chicken in this po boy was so DRY and almost burnt and had no flavor at all. It looked like there was no seasoning. He basically got a dry chicken sandwich with lettuce. Eating at a crawfish place is a little hard for us since Jason is allergic to all seafood and can’t even eat anything that is fried in the same oil so that is why he got grilled chicken instead of fried chicken. The server made sure to let us know what would be okay for him to eat and tried to accommodate accordingly. No allergic reactions this time! Service was excellent in my opinion. My friend who’s been there several times said it depends on who you have because there have been times when the server wouldn’t even pay attention when you ordered. Luckily, this time we got a really nice one. Our server was very attentive and genuine and our sweet teas were always filled. Sidenote– their sweet tea is really sweet! I had to ask for half sweet/half unsweet. Really good though. Server told us it was just lipton tea. Overall, I am definitely coming back for crawfish and oyster po boys!
