The best tattoo experience!!! Alex is talented, intuitive and patient beyond measure. He was able to translate all the gibberish I described into an amazing piece of art. He was patient with and all the alterations I required and was able to work with my schedule. I’m definitely recommending this place to all my friends and family. And I’m going back for my next tattoo, even if I have to drive from Sarasota.

I can say hands down that this was one of the best tattoo experiences I have had. Alex corresponded to me over email prior to my appointment to hash out the details. My best friend was coming into town from NC and even worked out her ink as well. We agreed that he would fix an anklet tattoo that needed re-​colored. He also did a piece on my left wrist. He and his office manager Shay (sorry if I spelled it incorrectly) were very professional. Alex even helped me decide on a placement of one of the tattoos; he was super patient. Nothing is worse than going into a tattoo shop and feeling «not cool enough» to be there. Screw that… I’m going to Inner Image from now on!

I am so please with Inner Image Ink! Thanks to all the Unilocal reviews, I decided I would get my 2nd tattoo here. I came from Daytona Beach without an appointment & just an idea. The moment I walked through the door, I was greeted & felt so welcomed. I love the atmosphere of the store & was definitely intrigued with all the things they had– even the dance studio right next door! I will most definitely be coming back here for my future pieces! My first tattoo (at a different studio in Ormond Beach) made my experience horrible. I’m so thankful that Alex was able to provide me with a positive experience & made the process very easy going! Can’t wait to go back for my 3rd!

Alex Sanchez is hands down the best tattoo artist with whom I’ve ever had the pleasure to work. It was 11 years between my first tattoo and finding the right artist to match my high standards for working environment, coloring, sensitivity, personalization and style. He truly understands the personal journey of putting all the pieces together in a stylized aesthetic that is as individual as the person. He can take an image or picture and make it your own. He is also a well rounded artist working in other mediums of music, light, sound and cares deeply for his clients and his work. This man is not only a brilliant artist, but a wonderful guy.

Having had tattoo work done from 2 other artists previous to Alex, the work I have received from him is by far the best work I have ever had, Alex even completed a tattoo of mine that was started by another artist and he matched it up so perfectly you cant tell it was done by two different artists. He does amazing work and all of my work will be done by him in the future. As other people have stated in their reviews the shop has such a positive vibe and with Lacey teaching dance next door it is a very nice place. The art hanging on the walls is beautiful. Alex & Lacey are both amazing people and I am so happy for them getting their own space. I can’t recommend Alex enough as a tattoo artist.

Inner Image Ink is not your typical tattoo studio. Not only does Alex specialize in custom one-​of-​a-​kind work, but the studio is filled with art! Alex does fantastic work AND is one of the fastest tattoo artists around.
Tina Santiago of Shakti Art does henna tattoos in the studios as well! Right-​freaking-​on!
Venture further into the space and you’ll find Florida Tribal Dance, a tribal belly dance school/​studio.
Talk about a fantastic mix!

I may be a bit biased because I’ve been getting inked by Alex for the past couple of years, but I am soooo happy he has opened a shop in the Ivanhoe Village!
Alex is an excellent artist and you won’t find one bit of flash art in this studio because he prefers to do custom pieces after a consultation.
His wife’s awesome dance studio is next door and the vibe here is relaxed and positive.
Also worth noting are the amazing artists that have displayed their work on his walls (all for sale!). I’m particularly fond of the fairy paintings by Mark Hadley and hope to acquire one someday. :0)
