The best Indian grocery store in Orlando! Great customer service and everything you possible need. Open on the weekends, only closed on Tuesdays. Got to check it out.

I’ve been to many different indian stores in my hometown, this was your standard store. There used to be a tiny indian store hidden localy but I think it shut down. The spices there were actually cheap. I happen to be heading to orlando so I went on a journey to house of spices with a list. I pretty much found everything thanks to the store clerk. The prices to me were a little bit steep but nonetheless some items had bogo, I mainly wanted toor dal, garam masala, amchur powder & punjabi chole masala. It was well over $ 20 for everything. Not complaining because the service was great & if I didn’t have dinner preset, I would have definately tried the cuisine there as i’m a huge indian food fan. Great job guys :)

Really great service and it’s the only place I have found in Orlando that has fresh and really wonderful«dokhla» that you can purchase for $ 6 per pound. The staff are also very helpful and can point you in the right direction, when looking for specific Indian food/spices. Price wise it is pretty affordable too and compares well with the other Indian grocery stores in town. I normally stop in here for a shop after eating at Bombay Café, so also like the convenience of having both of my fave Indian restaurant and a pretty good Indian grocery store located so close to each other.

An Indian shop that we were happy to find here in Orlando. Prices are reasonable and the choice of products is enough to make quite a few good meals. Lentils were in specials and we got quite a large quantity(two 2 pounds bags for $ 3 or something like that)… it is a lot of lentils since we are in Orlando for only a month… lots of Indian meals in perspective! There was also a promotion on frozen Gulab Jamun and while we are not very fan of frozen food, we did try it and it was indeed very similar to the fresh ones we have in restaurant. I can’t really compare to other local places but it’s a very nice option but nothing exceptional if I compare it to similar shops elsewhere in the US and Canada.

I went here looking for very specific Indian ingredients that were necessary for an Indian dish my wife an I were making. House of Spices is like a mini-mall of Indian businesses. They were very helpful here, they verified that I was purchasing the right ingredients. Will try again in the future.

Seriously Friendly staff(call out to Hiral & Jenny) + Fresh vegetables(like seriously fresh) + reasonable prices + great selection. As a new transplant to Orlando from Chicago wasn’t expecting this quality of store. Finding HoS was quite the blessing, had to set up an indian kitchen from scratch and they had all the spices, gadgets, and friendly recommendations on what to do(and not); its always good to meet a couple of sales people who tell you what you don’t need instead of just blindly pushing sales. Also they point you in the direction of what you do need(& where the best deals are!) Its become my go to stop in Orlando. Checked out a few more stores, but HoS still comes out ahead in my book.

Terrific place of all kinds of spices. Sure, lots of ‘Indian’ style but all sorts of spices used by most cuisines. Also have a large selection of hard to find dried beans, legumes and other fantastic Vegan fare. Prices are wonderful, especially if you buy in the larger quantities they offer. Shop and compare! Store employees are helpful, polite and friendly. Store is clean, fresh and well light. Easy location to find opposite the Woodlands Restaurant(Indian Style), that is also fantastic for Vegan/Indian food. It has a wonderful buffet most days for lunch so you can sample a bountiful selection of healthy Vegan/Vegetarian fare. Not all Indian food is spicy, most is just delicious! We frequent this store for our class supplies as we teach Vegan cooking and Nutrition. Cheers, Skip Stein Whole Foods 4 Healthy Living

This Indian grocery store is my favorite in Orlando. Their items are fresh, and I can always find the ingredients/spices I need for all my Indian dishes here. The staff are courteous and extremely helpful. One thing here to try is the chevdo — kind of like an ethnic Chex Mix. It’s addictive. They have different types of it in large canisters/pots by the front of the store. You can load up in a plastic baggie and they charge you by weight. I get the one with raisins/currants. The cilantro and other produce here is fresh AND affordable. I bought a box of 10 amazing mangoes today for $ 7! They also make their jalebi(Indian sweet treat) fresh on site.
