Their chicken kebab had the delicious authentic taste which its suppose to have. The hummus is probably one of the reasons why I keep going back. Also, try the chicken shwarma platter with the beans, it will definitely fulfill your appetite and taste.

Really excellent food. I had the chicken Shawarma and lentil rice combo. It was really fantastic. Very different from the Israeli based Pitas I’ve had around here(which I also like). Got a chance to talk with the owner, he is very passionate about providing excellent quality food. I will be back!

I definitely had a great food experience here. I ordered the falafel platter and everything about it was delicious. The flavors are awesome and very traditional everything tasted very fresh. Also, the 3 bean salad is fresh and tasty!

Food is definitely delicious, healthy, and has a good presentation. I don’t normally write reviews but this place can use more customers. My favorite is the chicken kebab platter with lentil rice and hummus.

Awesome service, clean restaurant, good food. Since I am middle Eastern, I would like a little bit more flavor. But my friends loved it:)

Too expensive!!! Slow service! The falafel was dry. The bread was hard. The climate was hot. Overall experience was not very good.

I am a kind of a weekly customer for habibi and every time I go I expect to experience new kind of food they have, today I had the mixed kabob platter with hummus was marvelous, tabouli as always and the spicy potato. I respect everybody opinion about how he found the place but I have my own, I love the place and the food, place is clean and very good team to serve the customers.

HORRIBLESERVICE I was looking forward to trying this place in spite of the bad reviews about the food. I went to place my order and the old man was obviously upset that a customer came in. I placed my order and handed my credit card. The credit card reader didn’t work. He made almost no effort to resolve it. I ended up leaving without my $ 18 order. Just as well because the place looked dirty and the food on the line looked dead. I ended walking down to Pita Pit, where I saved $ 10 and a night in the bathroom. With this service and food I expect there will be a new restaurant in this location within a few months.

I miss Falafel Café. This is, and. never will be, anywhere close to Falafel Café. Food is overpriced a d bland. Service not good either. The lentil soup at Falafel Café was to die for. The lentil soup at Habibi tasted like warm dishwater. Won’t be back here.

The food is great and it’s cheap! The service is fast and friendly. Great place for poor college students looking for something other than pizza and burgers.

It’s disappointing to me. I was a fan of Falafel Café, which owned this spot prior to Habibi. The staff here was friendly, but sadly that’s really all this place has going for it. The food is bland and uninspired, overall just so forgettable that… in fact, that’s exactly what I did. A minor point that would have been forgivable, had the food been remotely interesting, was that the drink machine was out of ice when we arrived. One employee warned us of the fact, saying he would add ice, but nothing was actually done the entire time we were there. Update: Turns out that the owner(I’m guessing; his profile photo was the Habibi sign) took issue with the fact that I used to enjoy Falafel Café and don’t like Habibi. I received this: «It’s funny really. If you were really fan of Falafal café and I doubt that. Let me tell you that the only cook Falafal café had in his restaurant is working in the same place now called habibi.»

Taking the place of falafel café is now Habibi. I was extremely excited and I very much wanted to like this place as much as I liked falafel café. I have to say that service was excellent and that’s probably the only reason it got the 2 stars, it’s the food that didn’t do it for me. $ 2.25 for a small kibbeh and they don’t let you have it as a side if you get the combo, you have to buy it seperately. Speaking of their sides, the hummus had 0 flavor and my coworker and I were agreeing that it tasted like straight up tahini, I ended up leaving most of it behind. The chicken shwarma sandwich was ok but that too tasted underseasoned. I have to wonder if they purposely do this to cater to the American palette, and if they do, I hope that they change that in the future because if I go to a lebanese place, I’m expecting to get those amazing flavors and not just bland overpriced food. Lunch came out to almost $ 13 dollars for me; I just can’t see myself coming back anytime soon.

My husband and I love Habibi. We have eaten here at least 10 times, and we have sampled almost everything on the menu. To address some of the other reviews 1) the food is not expensive considering the quality of the food. The food here is not frozen heat and serve Cisco products that one might find at a sports pub or restaurant chain. 2) the service is not slow. I myself cook from scratch and I understand that it takes a few minutes to prepare healthy food. My husband and I usually wait about 5 minutes for our sandwich combos, and we have never waited more than 10 minutes when with 4 people. Again this is not microwaved bar food. 3) they don’t serve French fries? Are you serious? Try the herb potatoes please. Let’s expand our palates here. Some pros: 1) healthy, fresh, homemade food 2) authentic flavors and spices 3) the people here are very friendly 4) the chicken, beef, and mixed shwarma are amazing 5) we recommend the hummus, bean salad, or herb potatoes for sides if you are trying for the first time. You cannot go wrong with these. 6) the portions are just right. Expect to be full but not stuffed. Some con’s: 1) it is a little warm inside at times 2) it is a tiny little place but there are at least 8 – 10 tables My foodie husband and I love this place! I am hoping that other people give this place a chance. If we don’t support authentic, homegrown places like this we will be left with only restaurant chains that rely on frozen food products and a deep fryer to satisfy their customers.

The is a new place that I’ve been wanting to check out and it didn’t disappoint. I will say the selection is somewhat small yet focused on shawarma and kebobs. The food is fresh and the portions are great(not too big and not to small). I had the beef shawarma sandwich, which is more like a wrap. I plan to come back and check out more when I get a chance. One gripe I have is I don’t think they do fries which is a staple side for us Americans. Anyway, it definitely has promise. Habibi, shukron.

Got the chicken shawarma sandwich and loved it! You could taste all the individual ingredients that went into the sandwich and they were all really fresh and went together well. The chicken was so good and tasted like time and effort. I highly recommend getting the pickled turnips in your sandwich, even if you don’t like pickles or turnips, because it adds so much flavor and texture! Their hot sauce is SOGOOD, you should put it on everything if you like spicy. Their hummus is also delicious, and I think the pita they use is delicious. I was also really blown away by the service(and kinda shocked at Jessica’s reply, because my experience was a complete opposite). The food took no time at all to make, and the guy I ordered from was really helpful and personable. He asked us several times if everything was okay, and if we liked the food. And he wasn’t asking just to ask, he really wanted to know. The great service was what I loved most! Also their sandwiches are really affordable. They are, on regular days, the same price as Pita Pit(while being the same size but so much tastier), and on days with sales, so freaking cheap. I think on Saturdays and Sundays, they offer a buy 2 get 1 free deal, which would make one sandwich like $ 4.
