Had a delicious turkey cranberry salad and some broccoli crunch. Everything was fresh and service was fast.

Still come here weekly and enjoy the mushroom brie soup. They offer free wifi, just use the phone number on the receipt as the password. Also certain discounts are offered! I get a discount every time I come because of where I work so dont be afraid to ask what companies they are partnered with for some extra cash off! Green Day continues to be on rotation for lunch for a healthy and vegetarian option!

We were very pleased with our trip to the Green Day café. I love their focus on recycling and using recyclable/compostable disposables, very refreshing. I ordered the turkey cranberry wrap, and my fiancé got the veggie quesadilla. Our entrees were good, but we both had reservations. My wrap was a bit too heavy on the raspberry vinaigrette, and his quesadilla was bordering on bland according to him. However, the sides were what really stole the show. Our pitas were perfectly toasted and crispy on the edges while still being soft. The hummus was some of the best in-house hummus we’ve had in Orlando so far. And my other half wouldn’t stop talking about how good his crunchy broccoli was. All in all, I don’t know if this place will make it into our regular rotation but we definitely enjoyed our visit!

The food was light but filling. Enjoyed the multiple brewed tea variations. The design is unique and very inviting. Service a good!

Ordered the chicken wrap and it was pretty good. The only thing that I didn’t like was that it was very runny. I had sauce or something coming out everywhere. Loved that they give you the choice of Terra chips to go with your wrap!

Good food, but ordered a plain baked potato for my son and was charged $ 8. When questioned, the manager stated that they had to charge the same price as a loaded potato. Very disappointing and with this type of customer service, I expect few returning customers.

Green day never disappoints for a quick lunch bite. Everything is fresh and quick and delicious. My favorite is the buffalo chicken salad. I get everything I want without feeling like I ate a fattening meal.

Yes, the food is good here. However, the service is the worst! Where is the manager? Where is the cashier when you walk in?(Back in the kitchen, texting.) Green Day Café has employees waving a sign at passing cars during the week. They should focus on customer service. Get a manager. Train your employees. Show them how to greet customers and conduct a transaction at the register in a courteous way. Train them so they can answer questions about the menu. Good Grief!!!

It has been years since I have eaten at Green Day Café. Thankfully, my office was relocated to down the street, so I had to stop back in. I did the pick two, and got the half Holy Guacamole salad and the mushroom Brie soup. My biggest criticism if the meal was that the soup was a little bit gritty without any good flavor. The salad made up for this, though! It came with a side of dressing, but with the guacamole and hummus, you hardly need it as there is so much flavor in the salad! The best part of this visit was how quick the staff is. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. And costing less than $ 10, I will definitely be back soon! :)

My job kindly catered lunch for us with food from Green Day. I had never heard of Green Day prior to this week and cant wait to visit and see the full menu! We had wraps, tuna, vegetarian, and southwest chicken. I selected the Southwest and it was delicious! We also had a chicken salad with raspberry vinaigrette that was tasty and some sweetened mango tea that was out of this world!

My husband and I decided to try a new lunch place on a Saturday afternoon. We were in the area and based on Unilocal reviews, this was a no brainer. Also after checking-in on Unilocal,an added bonus was a 10% off your entire meal here… icing on the cake! We both looked at the menu and then asked the cashier person what he would recommend and he then asked if we were vegetarian… no we weren’t but they have a great selection of vegetation options and very healthy options as well. Upon his recommendation and our taste buds… I got the«pick 2»(similar situation to Panera) however, another added bonus and to my surprise it included a drink. I ordered the mushroom brie soup(recommended by the cashier) and turkey ranch wrap. My husband got the«pick 2» — mushroom brie soup and santa fe chicken wrap. To my surprise the wrap was an excellent portion and was warm and crispy outside, like it had been pressed. I felt the«pick 2» meal was just the right portion and for it to include a drink for $ 8.99, wasn’t such a bad deal for eating healthy. It also included a pickle. My only criticism is being that it is a healthy option to dine, it would have been helpful if they listed any gluten free options. Such as, if the mushroom soup had been thickened with flour etc, or if the ranch dressing was GF. All in all, I think the Green Day Café was a refreshing change from your typical deli restaurant with lots of unique menu items. I wouldn’t mind coming back and trying something new off the menu. Also, on a side note, for your tea drinkers out there… they had an excellent variety of ice teas, as well as, Dole lemonade.

Overall a pretty decent spot to stop for a quick, healthy bite. It’s nice to get in, get out, and leave without a grease-filled tummy! And if you’re environmentally concerned, it seems that green means green. All takeout containers«turn into soil after 90 days». Part of me wanted to set that box on my counter for 3 months just to watch this magic happen… I had the oriental chicken wrap. No frills, but tasty and filling. It’s your basic chicken, mandarin oranges, lettuce, and crispy wonton strips, but it’s done well. The real winner though is the broccoli slaw. I wish I’d brought more than just the tiny side cup home! It’s definitely worth buying an extra side of it. Wish I’d done that!

I like Green Day very much, so I was concerned when I saw the old building was shut down — but low and behold they only moved about 300 yards down the road(opposite side of John Young). This place has a great selection of fresh items to choose from. My personal favorite is to get their 7 layer rice bowl, and add chicken. It comes with guacamole, hummus, and salsa, on top of rice, beans, and cheese. SOGOOD! They have great soups also, and the service is quick and friendly. I highly recommend you try Green Day!

This place has been my addiction for several weeks now! I have been on a special diet for a few months, and wanted healthy food. This gem of a place not only made my salads, but knew me in the future and proceeded to make me smile! Thanks Green Day Café for being there for ghost of us looking for a healthy alternative at lunch!

My updated review is for the service here. Green Day Café moved to a new location and for some reason now has workers that would rather be somewhere else than work at Green Day Café. No one really acknowledges you, when you order they are short with you, and no one has a smile on their faces or seem like they even want to be there. Everyone at my office has made a remark about how unfriendly Green Day has become. The food is still decent and we don’t have much of a choice in this area for healthy food. For now, we will have to put up with the grumpy employees.

Went here for lunch with the beau as a healthy alternative but I should’ve just went to Panera Bread… where the food taste better for the same price. The good wasn’t disgusting but it wasn’t something I’d want to try again. There were two workers there when we came in and no one greeted us them when we waited in front of the Order Here sign they just like looked at each other like they didn’t want to take our order. I had to ask who should I order from bc I only have an hour lunch. The food portions were small(compared to Panera) and got the pick 2 deal with a salad and sandwich and no side came with it.

I Like it. I just think their staff needs to pull it together when it comes to having knowledge on their product and what they’re serving to their customers. The past 2 times that i’ve visited this place i enjoy the food but every time i’m left in dark guessing on what i want because their staff usually are as clueless as i’am plus their way of serving the food is a little out of whack as well. Besides those things i will keep visiting them since it’s actually pretty good.

This might be odd for most but this place has a vibe similar to what I imagine It’d be like if Panera and Chipotle had a food baby; a non-mexican/southwestern food baby It’s fresh, healthy, vegan/vegetarian friendly and it’s not stupid expensive. It does get a fairly serious rush at the times when you’re going to want it but they’re pretty efficient. I’ve not had any rice dishes but everything else is worth a try if you’re in search of a lighter lunch that’s both delicious and easy on the wallet. My only beef is with whoever makes my hummus wraps; they always have the hummus end up on one half of the wrap so that when it’s sliced, only one side has hummus. Seriously. Stop that.

Love this place for a quick, healthy lunch. Lots of vegetarian, low calorie, and gluten free choices here. I ALWAYS get the mushroom Brie soup and generally alternate between the Honey Turkey and Buffalo Chicken half wrap(Pick 2 option). I always add a side of broccoli crunch. Today I opted for a turkey cranberry as a salad and it was equally delicious. I’ve had friends get rice bowls and not be as happy with those but I’m sure it’s personal preference. There’s a ton of options — quesadillas, wraps, salads, soups, loaded potatoes, stuffed peppers, and rice bowls so it would be hard to not in something to try. They recently moved and the new location is smaller and in a shopping plaza as opposed to a stand alone building. There’s less room inside which kind of sucks but it’s not a deal breaker for me. Oh they have good iced tea too!

I’ve driven by this place lots of times but never stopped until this past week. To be honest, the place is not in a very good location. From the outside it looks like a run down fast food joint in a downtrodden portion of Lee Road. But seeing they had a drive thru(and a sleeping baby in my backseat) made the decision for me. I could barely hear the employee on the drive thru speaker and struggled choosing my options. I ended up with a delicious turkey ranch wrap which was stuffed full of fresh veggies and moist turkey. The flavor was great and the Terra chips on the side were a nice change. My son’s «Grilled cheese» looked like a cheese quesidilla. It came with some healthier options– cinnamon pita pieces and mandarin orange slices. We got one of their little chocolate dessert cakes to share but it was pretty dry. I’m looking forward to stopping here again when I’m in the area. Next time I hope to go inside and get a better idea of the items offered and how the business is run. So far this is a very promising restaurant which offers a nice break from typical fast food!

Newbie Alert! I finally made the trip to Green Day and I’m pleasantly surprised! They have a diverse menu with very flavorful options. I had the ½ wrap, soup & drink option for $ 8.99. Totally worth the price. I chose a Southwest Chicken wrap and the mushroom Brie soup! Delish!!! Note: I love anything that has mushrooms! Their mushroom Brie soup was great and had lots of tasty mushroom pieces! I would totally go back and have that soup EVERYDAY! The restaurant was clean, quiet and service was fast. Did I mention the food was great?! They are clearly professionals at portion size. It was just enough! I will definitely be coming back. :)

My face says what I mean about this place, but finding it hard to translate to words. There needs to be an option to review by photo with facial expression on this site. Ok so I’ll try. It’s an ok place. Of course I appreciate the focus on the environment and health, and it has a drive thru. Let’s face it, some days I do not feel like getting out of the car for a food run. I mean, the food was ok. I had a brown rice bowl and broccoli crunch. Love the broccoli crunch. It’s just nothing extra special about this place is all. It’s ok, but I wouldn’t make special efforts to return. Please be aware of the huge dip while exiting the drive thru. It’s quite a surprise if you do not know.

My third time at Green Day Café. I came in for lunch. This place does have a lot of vegetarian options, but they also have turkey and chicken. If you aren’t a vegetarian don’t let the label deter you! I ordered the Veggie Quesadilla. It looked a little underwhelming on the plate, kind of small, but it was actually very filling. Tomatoes, red onions, cheese and, believe it or not, shredded carrots pressed in a warm toasted tortilla. The carrots were a little odd, I’ve never had a quesadilla with carrots, but it was very good. With a side of their chunky guacamole and a pickle on the side, I was stuffed. I recommend their sweetened mango tea. Very refreshing. If you check in on Unilocal!they will give you a free fountain drink, so that was rad. Everything they serve is organic, and they use eco-friendly materials and utensils as well. They are a little on the pricey side — around $ 8 for a sandwich, but definitely worth a try.

We love to eat healthy. Lucky for us and others like us, many restaurants have greatly pared their menus to accommodate all types of diets– organic, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, low carb, etc. One place that Chad and I love when we are hunting for great fast, fresh and healthy food is Green Day Café just north of downtown Orlando. Don’t be fooled by the hole in the wall type look, this place is packed at lunchtime– a line out the door. The menu is mostly sandwiches, salads, rice bowls and soups. The first thing that caught my eye was the Mushroom-Brie soup in which they now serve as Gluten Free. It is simply amazing. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I ordered the pick two option and ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich to go along with my soup. One word. Delicious. Chad ordered the 7-layer rice bowl. Brown rice, vegetarian black beans, Colby jack cheese, guacamole, salsa, hummus and buffalo sauce. He liked it. I have ordered the mushroom-brie rice bowl in the past– brown rice, vegetarian black beans, chicken and red onions– then they pour on 2 heaping ladles of the mushroom-brie soup. My favorite! We also ordered the Mediterranean platter– salsa, hummus, guacamole and tabouli served with grilled pita bread. It was yummy too– but very small portions. They also serve baked potatoes(which you can get covered in the mushroom-brie soup), quesadillas and a vegetarian stuffed pepper. Green Day Café is a counter service restaurant. In the dining room you get your own drink which was OK with me as they a have a few varieties of iced tea so I was able to try them all. The place looks like it was once a Taco Bell and it is a «fast» food joint– minus all the heavy grease and guilt. Don’t let the outside appearance fool you– this a gem on the inside!
