Golden Corral

I gave it one star because you have to give at least one. This is by far the worst Golden Corral I’ve gone to. Place is dirty and cashiers are very rude. Drinks are room temperature and tables don’t get cleaned. Trash cans in the back are overfilled with trash and they are right next to the people getting the food. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!! I’m not sure how they still remain open.

Average to a little above for typical golden corrals. Waitress refilled my drink and got my dirty plates away quickly. Everything looked pretty fresh. Would eat here again.

Not all Golden Corrals are created equal. There are much better Golden Corrals in the area than this one. They have less options and didn’t open on time Sunday and left us locked outside waiting from 7:30 — 7:45

The food is not too bad … Stick to the fried chicken fried fish is good … Baked ham … burger sliders … More food options for dinner

The food was OK the bread was cold they put tons of that butter suace on the bread, and I asked for decaf coffee and it was gross, no creamers. Not a great place to eat if your really hungry. The waitress was nice we were her only table so it can’t be that hard to keep the drinks going. Won’t go there again.

All you can eat buffet at a good price. Problem is that and great food don’t really mix. You will always find something to eat I guess as they do have a good selection, but steak was dry, chicken dry, fish ok, desserts great

After visiting Busch Gardens for the day, my friend wanted to eat here. I’m not a fan of this business chain, but I went with him to make him happy. Besides, I hadn’t seen him for over 3 months and he’s a great friend. Anyways, the parking lot was full, but I found spot. The parking lot shares other businesses here, so it is very limited. The exterior was clean, however, the interior was dirty!
We ordered our drinks. The price has gone up from what I remembered. The food variety was huge, but the quality was lacking. The breakfast items looked all dried out, staled, and just gross. I passed on this. The fired fish and shrimp was delicious though. The BBQ ribs was great too. Everything else looked fine overall. It was just the breakfast items that was gross. We were here about 8pm that evening as a side note.
The waitress was very sweet and she was very attentive to our table. I didn’t have any desert or salad. As I looked around, the restaurant was dirty. It felt very unclean. I thought for the price, it was not great at all. I didn’t eat much either. I wouldn’t recommend this business because it is not clean or very appealing overall. Go to Ale House or Kobe’s in the area.
This is just opinion about this place and as mentioned, I am not a fan of Golden Corral. I only ate here to be with my best friend.

Visiting the area for work. Great customer service. The waitress made sure we had refills at all times on our drinks and cleared the table quickly. The food was good, fresh and hot.

Bottom Line: I don’t want to admit it — but I’ll probably be back at some point …
I always know what to expect when I go to Golden Corral… Average food for an average price. I could go right up the street and get one of the best burgers ever! With fries and a drink — For the same price! — but when carb loading, bad for you, lots of choices is what you’re Jone’sing for — this is where you go.
I always get suckered in on the Mac and Cheese. I make great Mac and Cheese, I’ve had gourmet Mac and Cheese, I like Kraft … Don’t judge. So I had my fill of that institutional orange stuff plus some bacon — just because it’s there, bourbon chicken, a biscuit (I was honest up front — the carb cravings are serious!) fried shrimp and Krab salad then some desserts.
The new $ 1.99 To Go addition is a great value. I took 2 chicken/​thigh portions home and had that for lunch in salads over the next 2 days.
Like I said — you know what you are going for and you get exactly that.
I do agree that this is my least favorite location and I only go because it is RIGHT there, otherwise I’d pick another one and enjoy the guilty carb loading ;-)

I wish I would have listened to Unilocal instead of my stomach and husband… this place indeed was terrible. First off, the old, dirty, wet carpet smell was everywhere, we tried looking for places where you couldn’t notice it but it was inevitable. The food was subpar. By subpar I mean… very very bad (and this is coming from a non-​picky third world country person that loves Golden Corral). It was all flavorless but very greasy and with plastic-​y after taste. The bacon was way overcooked and pork chops were scary-​looking undercooked. The mac and cheese was the only decent food choice they had. Even the ice cream was bad.
Do yourself a favor and save the $ 9/​person (went during brunch hours) and go somewhere else. I would go as far as suggesting Wendy’s over this Golden Corral.

I wish Unilocal allowed zero stars. We came here tonight for dinner and were treated terribly. This Golden Corral was a waste of my time and money. The place is dirty, food is barely edible, service is terrible, the place is way smaller than previous Golden Corrals I have been to and the place is staffed with ghetto trash. We would have been better off eating at Pizza Hut. Things were so bad that I sent an email to their corporate office. Avoid this dump.

My server, Melissa was awesome! It did take a while for her to come and introduce herself. I will say that this particular location should be shut down! You would think, that in a tourist area, it would have fresh food, with a large selection of items. It’s is smaller than many of its other locations and the way it’s built makes it visually unappealing. They do serve breakfast all day, if that’s what you’re in to.
My experience this trip: good service, dry food at poor temperatures. Fried chicken and the chocolate fountain was the highlight!

As we’re from overseas, we’d never been to this chain of restaurants before and we were amazed– we don’t have any variety like this back in Australia especially the West so we thought the variety was awesome!
The servers were really nice and our waiter was constantly offering us drink top ups and to take away dirty plates.
The veggies were a little cold but were edible. The roast was DELICIOUS– the flavours were amazing and the meat literally fell apart. We also really enjoyed the bourbon chicken.
They had a chocolate dipping fountain, different types of icecream and a fairy floss (cotton candy) machine. pretty cool!
We thought it was good value for money as you definitely wouldn’t get all that in Australia.

Worse Golden Coral I have ever been in my life. Dirty watery potatoes the smallest selection I have ever seen ⁷⁄₁₁ has more selection than this dive. Feels like your eating right in the kitchen ice cream vanilla didn’t work looks like the place should be in Cuba.

I came here after a long day in Universal. And right off the bat, I knew I was going to have a horrendous experience.
The cashiers met my family with an attitude and sighs like they didn’t want us to be there. The price was $ 13.99 per person, which definitely was not worth it from all the terrible food set out. Everything was cold and the bread rolls never came out fresh again. The selection was small. They have this wide promotion to serve breakfast for all meals, but that doesn’t even look appetizing one bit. I did not touch the half burnt pancakes, squashed French toast, limp, greasy bacon, mushy, scrambled eggs, and unmanned omelette station once. I definitely went to look, but was promptly turned off and never returned back to that section.
The steak station was terrible too. The guy was nice and all but the steaks had no seasoning whatsoever and it just tasted overcook (I asked for medium well). Dessert station was lacking as well. Everything just looked mush and terrible. Even the ice cream tastes bad (I didn’t know that was possible) just like the attitude of the girl scooping it for me.
Through the time my family ate there, there was a trashy girl soliciting in the restaurant. She appeared to be taking food Togo but really was just messing around with the cashiers and steak guy. Some guy dressed like the manager was there too but he made no move to get rid of her. He just didn’t seem to be in control of any of his workers. Most of them just wandered around or joked around with their co-​workers.
I will never go back to any Golden Corral chain buffet ever again. To be quite honest, I didn’t really want to come tonight either. I recommend not coming to here or any Golden Corral chain. Save your money and go somewhere else.

An update to this review, just to add to the nastiness of this branch, a worker severe his fingers on the meat cutter, and the coworkers threw the bloods, parts, and severed fingers on the trash before the investigators arrived, so gross!

Food prepared without joy or pride makes me sad. This Golden Corral made me VERY sad.

It’s a Golden Corral. That pretty much says it all. It was also a last resort for the meal situation while in Orlando, mainly because the group I was with was trying to watch their budget. So I suffered through this one.
it is not «bad» per se, but like most buffet places, it is just not anything to write home about.

I have been to many Golden Corrals and this one falls short. Food was so-​so but table service was very good.
The person (Al) serving steaks needs to find another job. He was not courteous and came across as rude.
This is not one we would come back to.

I usually end up here because of location.
Most Unilocalers are correct there are much better Golden Corals out there. Just being jn the heart of tourist area it seems traffic is going to be there so there isn’t much effort on quality.
Yes the staff is friendly but thats about it!
Seems like there is an odor I caught a whiff of. when first entering but it goes away after you’re in. Def not a place to take a date or anyone out to dinner.
Brunch or lunch is about why we go there.
