This review is based on the service because I didn’t get to eat because the service was so incredibly slow that our party got up and walked out. The restaurant was empty when we arrived. They poured waters right away but after 15 minutes we had to get someone to take our drink order. Then she left to get a wine list and after 5 more minutes we gave up.

This review is going to take me a while to write, because this place is not just special — it’s phenomenal. The last time I experienced Indian cuisine of this very high standard was in Melbourne(Australia). My best friend was a primo chef in high class Indian restaurants. After that I became critical and finally I had to accept the fact that most Indian places have 1 – 3 primo dishes and the rest is just OK. But that’s not the case at Fusion 360. It opened end of 2014 and it used to be called American Gymkhana. But due to a trademark dispute they had to change names. The chefs are the same, so is restaurant and service. One surprise to this change is that the menu has been expanded to accommodate more Americans(Tandoori steaks). So what makes this place truly unique? When I first came here I was bored with chain like restaurant type food that Orlando is famous for(because of tourists). Although this place looks very high class, I very politely asked if my dress code was OK and they accepted me. The environment gave me the impression that this place was pricy. But I didn’t mind trying something new and if wasn’t spectacular than who cares? My 1st dish was chicken tikka(aka Fusion 360 chicken). When the dish arrived, the chicken didn’t look orange rust like most Tandoori style dishes. It looked like it was in a Tandoori oven, you could see some herbs on the meat and it definitely smelled Tandoori style. This was my 1st surprise… My next was when I decided to take the 1st bite and my taste buds woke up and my brain kept on thinking about Melbourne(Australia). Was I in a dream or was this an Indian Matrix? Since I was hungry I had to order another dish and this one had to be more complicated to judge — Hyderabada Biryani with chicken Medium hot. Now, when you think of hot Indian spicy food, you normally don’t associate that with flavor. This place is a game changer because when the dish was served you could literally smell all the spices, and the moment you took a 1st bite you knew it was a homemade style Biryani dish. Since when does very spicy food is associated with flavor in a restaurant? I was stunned and amazed at what I just experienced. I was speechless… I couldn’t believe what I just ate, and I had to come back for more rigorous testing. My 2nd visit was in search for the true Goan Vindaloo with lamb. Since that was listed on the menu I thought I’ll put them to the test and it had to be medium spicy. Now as some you might know Vindaloo dish is not a colorful one. The key to Goan Vindaloo are how the spices are mixed with meat or vegetables. I was speechless… I had to text my friends from SF about this place. They couldn’t believe that it was in Orlando!!! Since I had to throw a white towel at this place and declare it the BESTINDIANRESTAURANTINUS, I was more surprised at other dishes, Tandoori Lemon Butter Salmon, Andrha Curry with Chicken, Moilee(fish dish — usually Snapper), Lahsooni Dal tadka(garlic moong lentils). Unfortunately Unilocal allows me to grade this place max 5 stars. I think it’s 7. Namaste to the BESTINDIANRESTAURANTINUS.
