It’s only been a few days but I’m already seeing results with my charcoal soap and image face oil. Less black heads and my face feels amazing! The staff is great and very helpful. Ask for Zeus and he’ll find exactly what you’re looking for.

I don’t know how I missed writing a review for this place. I’ve been a loyal customer since the day they opened. I have a confession to make, I am a natural soap lover at heart. Some would call it an addiction…(like my husband). I have promised myself to learn how to make my own some day. My absolute, all time favorite scent to bathe with, wash my hands with, is Lavender. Whenever my kids are having trouble falling asleep at night I pull out my lavender essential oil, rub their temples, and chest, and that does it all the time. They are asleep within minutes. I love visiting the Florida Soap Company. The smell alone drives me insane. I could spend hours just browsing and becoming familiar with all the scents and products. All of their soaps are made with natural, all vegan ingredients. If soap bars are not your thing they also sell shower shuffle’s which is a creamy version of a shower gel. They don’t only sell soap. Their bath scrubs are some of the best I’ve used. They exfoliate your skin really well, leaving it soft to the touch. I always recommend their scrubs. Their sea salt bars are great for exfoliating as well. They also sell potpourri blends, and if you love taking long, hot, steamy baths, you gotta try their bath bombs along with their bath salts. I like to use both, especially after a long day. And don’t forget to lather your skin with their skin food oil for a little extra softness and moisture. I always believe in creating a spa within your own home. Florida Soap Company helps me to do that. The prices are comparable. Believe me, I shop around and know my soap and spa treatments, their prices are good. Enjoy!

My experience started off wonderful. Beautiful soaps, great displays, helpful employees. Thought I would support local business on small business Monday and buy some things at the marketplace. As another reviewer commented on, the rudeness and snarky attitude of the store owner is the key issue, not the product or employees. After charging me extra for a soap holder that I thought was included, charging me extra for a slightly larger gift box, and constantly insisting I was getting ‘a steal’… I just smiled and happily said thanks. My brother purchased his gift box and the clerk shrink wrapped it, which made the display look very nice. Since mine was a gift, I asked if I could also get mine shrink wrapped. The gentleman behind the counter said«sure»… But the owner walked over, chimed in, and insisted I must buy additional items to qualify for the shrink wrapping. Fine. So I did. When I handed her my box she said with an attitude«We normally don’t do this on soaps so I’m being extremely generous» to which I responded… «Sigh… I wish you didn’t nitpick on prices», she made a snarky response back about having to make money to which I responded«I know you have to make money, and you deserve to, but then simply raise your prices… the constant nitpicking on prices makes customers feel uncomfortable»… To which she said«You know what?! Because you said that I WONT shrink wrap your box.»(Bear in mind, I was buying extra products so that I could get my gift box shrink wrapped… So this was a scenario where the owner felt it was best to cut her nose to spite her face, if you will) «Getting even» with your customers isn’t exactly a good practice or an effective way to grow your business, even if you feel justified… I’m not writing this review to hurt her Unilocal score or damage the business in anyway. I’m doing it to provide feedback so hopefully she sees that this attitude is damaging to the business. Aside from the fact that we didn’t purchase $ 50 in additional items that we were about to buy, we now will no longer will recommend the store, and I’m quite sure others will have additional sentiment further holding back the growth of the business. I also heard her tell her employee to do something because she’s his«boss». She said it in a lighthearted tone, but this attitude is also damaging to employees. Employees won’t say anything, but their feelings build and it ultimately leads to unhappiness and bad morale. As the owner, the goal isn’t to make it obvious that you’re «the boss» and above all your employees. I started my career with a similar craft-style business but, studied management science at Stanford University and ultimately scaled to owning a much larger company with many more employees. It pains me to see store owners think so short sighted making simple mistakes like this. Great business, short-sighted owner. She may generate profit, and she might be happy with the revenue she’s generating… But she’s damaging her business for sure. If you want to tack on $ 1 for an add-on, raise the price of the product by $ 2 and throw it in for free. You’ll make more, customers won’t feel awkward when you nitpick prices at checkout, and your shop will be more successful. Also, don’t say«boss», especially not in front of customers :-)

Fantastic employee, waited until I had looked around a little before asking me if I had any questions then when I told him I had many rushed over and gave me his full attention. He was so informative, incredibly helpful, I ended up walking out with a moisturizer and scrub and a soap bar. He was so attentive and their logo«Are you dirty?» Is so cute! Wish there was one of these by me, at least I can order online!

Thoroughly enjoyed visiting this location at Artegon. The staff here is always very friendly. The encourage you to try their product before you purchase them. This is very smart. How many times have you purchased something that looks very pretty, just to be disappointed when you get home. The day that I was there, they were giving away bags of potpourri to all the Unilocalers. Great visit, great staff, great product.

My shopping experience here was awesome. the sales associate was very friendly and helpful. I had originally came in the store to grab some of their soaps and ended up leaving with soaps and other goodies. I purchased the dead sea salt soap and so far I love it. I also got 2 potpourri(they were $ 5.00 that day, great deal). Honestly is you are ever in Artegon Market place, this is store you need to check out. They have so many things from soaps, oils, lotions and body scrubs.

This place is absolutely amazing, you are going to fall in love with their sugar scrubs. I bought the blueberry sugar scrub for ten dollars and I am absolutely hooked. You scrub the sugar scrub while you are taking a shower, and your skin when you get out is miraculously silky and super soft. The sugar scrub itself smells wonderful, you literally want to eat it but you can’t. I love this store so much that I went back and bought a blueberry sugar scrub for my co worker and the almond biscotti for my friend, and the Cocunut sugar scrub for myself. The coconut sugar scrub is 20 dollars. Apparently the coconut scrub is a best seller. The great thing about this place is they have testers for all the scrubs. The problem you are going to have is deciding on which one to choose. The owner of store is also willing to make your own concoction of a sugar scrub. Also the ingredients that are used are cruelty fee, natural, and vegan. Get ready to feel delicious and smell delicious all at the same time!

It is an unfortunate experience that I must post. I hoped to support a local business in organic products. I met the owner at a street fair and bought a product that I loved. When I ran out, I ordered another online along with over $ 100 worth of other items I thought to be the same quality. When I received my order it was completely off and not what I originally experienced and bought. The face lotion smelled and felt different and the scrubs and bath salts were not professionally sealed, only with duct tape so they wouldn’t spill during shippitng. Nothing was as described but most importantly the product that I had already tried. All of it smelled of vegetable oil and not the natural organic scents that were described. I was beyond disappointed and wrote to the owner on the website. I got a call from the owner who said I received and order that was unscented and she would start with sending me a new face lotion that was correct, I finally received but only the face lotion and nothing else. Within a week I started receiving threatening emails about returning the original item. The other incorrect items were not even addressed. The owner advised her father was a lawyer and she would sue me. I was so confused as I was not told I had to return anything and much to my surprise at my own expense none the less. Long and short of this is that I was able to receive a replaced item but had to pay an additional amount to reship the incorrect item and nothing else was fixed and I was threatened by the owner. I wrote a review on their Facebook page and then was threatened with a lawsuit for slander even though I was only stating my experience. Then because I used my work email address for contact, she went on the company I work for and wrote a defamation of character review about me personally,. Misty Wheeler-Belin tried to get me fired because her products are poor and I expressed this on her webpage. My opinion is that any buyer should beware!
