Worst service ever… would give this place zero stars if I could. Came here planning to grab a coffee with my husband and dog on the outside seating and before I could even go in and place an order, rude Italian guy(think pizza shop owner from Do the Right Thing) comes out and tells me and my dog to «get off his fucking property.» Note– the outside seating in front of his coffee shop isn’t even technically«his property» but appears to be a common area managed by the building’s HOA. Don’t know where the animosity comes from– My dog happens to be an English bulldog(and super sweet!) and me, well, I happen to be black… I wish these attributes weren’t a factor in this review but it’s clear they rendered us unwelcome here.

Sunday the 26th, my wife and I were seeking a coffee shop so she could work on her studies and I could socialize so we looked for a place we had not been on Unilocal. We found Flamingo’s, hopped in the car and off we went. What we found when we arrived was a Pizza joint listed as a coffee shop with an espresso machine that DOESNOT work and only serves«American Coffee» according to the person working there. If I wanted to go to a pizza joint, I would look up a pizza joint. When I drive from East Orlando only to find out your«Coffee Shop» is NOT really a «Coffee Shop» because of the inaccurate listing, no problem. When you have an espresso machine that does not even work and you talk down to me like I am clueless about the difference between espresso and coffee… I WALKOUTAND I DON’T COMEBACK! No need to talk down to people that walk in the door if you want them to stay! CIAO!

The espresso I got here was good, and the bread were hot and fresh. I could have given this a better score but since it’s my first time to come here, it didn’t really give me much impact. Still this is a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee.

Don’t be fooled by Google. This is a pizza deli, not a coffee shop w/a freezer case for sodas. They make pot coffee, and have an espresso machine that goes unused… assuming from prior owner,

This shop is under my apartment building and I thought that it was convinient and cute however they over charge you even thou the prices are posted. Be careful and make sure they only charge you what is on the price board . I thought as a continuous customer they would value my loyalness and that was absolutely not the case . They put their own prices on each meal

This little coffee shop is a 5 star coffee shop in my opinion. Saying«coffee shop» is kinda inaccurate. It’s more like a bodega that you would find in New York. It’s a convenience store, a café, an ice cream shop, and a place for lunch. Everyday they have lunch specials. Today they had lasagna for $ 5. I ended up trying a simple 12 inch turkey sub. This sub was awesome. You have to get the subs heated here because they have this freshly baked Italian bread that tastes better when it’s hot. The turkey was delicious and the sandwich was overall exactly what I needed: a quick, healthy, and tasty meal that was also filling. The man that owns the store is very nice and funny. They have delicious espresso, too. Aside from subs, they have tuna sandwiches, pizza, and different daily lunches. The ice cream honestly looked awesome. So, I intend to return. I love this Parramore neighborhood and I love this bodega. Also, check out some great Southern food next door at Johnson’s Diner.
