Can’t wear tank tops. We live in florida. You’re not a fine dining establishment. Then you try to sell me a shirt? No wonder sales are down. The concept is like what happens when you try and cram to much shit in a Porta potty. It stinks. Management was terrible.

Would give it zero stars if I could. Just don’t go. Horrible service, even horrible management.

I’ve never seen this place crowded, not even on NYE! They have a huge bowling alley, a video game room, mini bowling, billiards, darts, a restaurant and a DJ& dance floor on 2 levels. There’s usually no cover charge and they have a variety of food and drink specials throughout the week. I really enjoy the laid back atmosphere. This year we decided to attend their New Year’s Eve party. They were running a special: $ 30 for unlimited video games, mini bowling and well drinks with party favors and a champagne toast. It was a fantastic deal and we really enjoyed everything, especially the video games. My only complaint would be that the bartender staff upstairs were not very friendly, nor was the DJ. Even though there were only about 20 people upstairs participating in the champagne toast they ran out of plastic champagne glasses and we toasted the new year with paper cups… tacky. And we practically had to beg for a «cup» of champagne! I don’t understand why the bartenders were so grumpy because they weren’t busy. The place was practically empty. I’m still grateful for such a great deal and an opportunity to safely celebrate the new year close to home.

Firkin and Kegler is a great place to hang out with the whole family but I’m not convinced it’s a great place to dine. I came to celebrate my birthday with a group of family and friends. I opted, unwisely, for the chicken fingers which were awful — pretty much the frozen, overly breaded variety. The pizza, in comparison, is much better! The lanes were dark and difficult to focus on. The server was completely nonexistent. For non-serious bowlers, this can be a fun place for a group outing. Otherwise, it’s a solid«meh» for everything else.

I was in there last night for my company party. I spent about $ 800. The bartenders were great as was the food. When all my employees left, we cashed out. We decided to stay for a round of bowling. The gentleman at the counter was nice. I handed my credit card to them to pay $ 23. My card had a small nibble in the corner from a puppy I fostered. Ashley, the manager, ran up and snagged my card from the gentleman who was keying in my card. She immediately started to berate me and my girlfriend and said that they won’t accept a card they have to key in. She didn’t ask if there was an issue(there wasn’t), she was mean, condescending, and rude right from the get go. I have been to several local businesses in town, not one had any issue with my American Express. I told her that we had just spent $ 800 with my company there and her response was that she doesn’t care. I will make sure that EVERYSINGLEPERSON hears about my experience. I recorded her lack of professionalism for your viewing pleasure. This video will be spread around because of Ashley. I’ll gladly post the receipts to prove how much I spent, and a picture of the credit card with the nibble. She was the worst manager of an establishment I have ever encountered. I’m a business owner, if this happened in one of my establishments, the manager would be immediately fired. Please share.

This place is a crap hole. Seat fabric all worn and torn. Display screen burned out and barely readable. Bathroom have scratched graffiti in mirrors and stalls are disintegrating from urine splash. Carpet filthy. Ghetto teenagers not bowling but making out in booths. Never coming back to this place.

This place isn’t the best place but my kids do love it here. The food needs some help but the bartenders are wonderful!!!

Came here to celebrate my two son’s birthday. Being 11 and having not played, AFTER we paid they told us they couldn’t use the bumpers. My two boys played two games(because we paid for two and couldn’t get out money back after we found out about their stupid rule) their total scores COMBINED was 16. They felt defeated and sad. They never want to bowl again. TOM was the ass that not only wouldn’t help the boys out(telling us «they’re too old») but told us he was done taking to us. By they way, I can now see why his place was dead on a Saturday. Update: they must have seen my immediate review and we got THREE different stories. One: they’re too old, Two: their broken despite us seeing one person using them, three: we aren’t doing it for you.(Even after showing how defeated and sad they were).

Very disappointing«family entertainment». We brought our family here, 2 adults and 4 kids, for a couple of games of fun. We are not regular bowlers by any means so our 3 youngest would benefit from bumpers to make the game much more enjoyable. We noticed the staff could set up the bumpers to rise automatically for specific bowlers on another lane. When we asked about doing that for a few of our kids we were told«they’re broken», «they’re too old» and finally just«not doing it». The boys were playing with 6&7 pounds balls and scored 17, 25 and 36 in the first game. We could have used a little help and raised their enjoyment of the outing. In short, if your a family with kids find another faculty that truly offers«family entertainment». This was a disappointing experience and waste of money.

Serious bowlers STAYAWAY. This place will only hurt your feelings and make you question your skills. The lanes are not well maintained, and the lighting is nonexistent. You can’t see the spots or arrows. Even if you could, the warped lanes will send your ball off course. Also, the seating at the lanes is weird, so you might have to kick a group out of your seats. Awkward. On the other hand, if you like bowling purely for fun and want to enjoy some TV and music, this is the place for you. You can also enjoy dancing on their never(ever) crowded dance floor. One caveat: sometimes they have semi-private parties in the bar area. There will be drink and food specials posted that only apply to party guests. But the postings don’t tell you this. Question everything and trust nothing.

Always a good time for bowling, drinks, and food. We love coming here with a group of friends for a fun night out. The food is nothing special and overpriced, but it works. The atmosphere you get at firkin is unlike any other bowling alley I have ever been to. Music, drinks, massive TV screens, pool tables, a full bar, etc. They also have a full sit down restaurant and upstairs there is a bar and some pool tables. If you come here don’t expect it to be a cheap date. It is very expensive. If it wasn’t for the cost I would give it 5 stars!

The kiddie bowling is probably the cutest(and smartest!) idea yet. I love taking my two year old daughter here and letting her play. So much fun. It is very expensive though(for adults) to bowl. And the food isn’t all that great. Still will return specifically for the baby bowling.

Went on a Saturday night and was not impressed! I have been here several times but the service and quality continues to decline. We paid $ 45 for one child and two adults to play two games. Since we never get service at our lane like we used to, we order drinks from the bar. The bartender said they had no specials so we ordered some beer. My daughter loves the slush puppies and the machine was down so she was disappointed, I went to the bar and asked if they could make a nonalcoholic piña colada. They told me they did not have blenders… NONE! Really?! They have three huge bars and no one can get a mixed drink? The entire two games we did not have a server approach us at all so we decided to head to a neighboring sports bar to eat! My final impression was the restroom which was disgusting!!! It had dried vomit along the walls and the cleanliness was a joke! I will go to Boardwalk Bowl from now on or take the extra drive to head to kings bowling on I drive.

Firkin and Kegler is essentially a multi-purpose hang-out spot and I like to hang out here ‘de vez in cuando’. They offer family friendly activities like bowling, arcade and dining. In addition they offer plenty of adult-only activities including a bar, a nightclub, line-dancing classes, ladies night, etc. Sorry, the bumper lanes are not for the grown and sexxy — they are for the kiddos only. I mostly come here when I feel like slinging an 11 – 12 pound ball across a wooden lane(wink). The lanes are usually decent and the price is good. There are specials offered Sunday through Thursday — I personally like $ 2 Tuesdays where you pay $ 2 per game, $ 2 for shoes and $ 2 domestic pints. Thursday is Ladies Night. Overall the place is generally clean and there are plenty of big screen tvs all around for game/movie watching. For the large size of the place, the parking lot seems rather small, however, I’ve yet to experience an issue finding parking. Every time that I go, I have a good time and I think that the prices are pretty good. I’ve never had the food here… I wonder if that is any good???

Not sure why you have to be 6 and under to use the bumpers. It’s no fun for someone just learning to bowl to get zero pins. I’ll stick with Oviedo Bowling from now on. I WILLNEVERCOMEBACK !

Lanes are Poor: Every time I come to this location, I have had the lanes malfunction. Pins will tip over on restock, turns will be skipped, machines wont read the letters you input, etc. Also, this will occur more than once during the time that you bowl. Staff is Unfriendly and Unhelpful: All the staff members have a superiority complex about them. They talk down to you and if you ask them for help(usually for there broken machine) they make it seem like it’s a huge ordeal. Owners are even worse than the staff. Way Overpriced: This is the most expensive bowling alley in the area. Additionally, there specials are not very good. Food: Food tastes old. The food is also overpriced. Location: The location is close to my house and this is the only reason why I have returned to this alley more than once. However, after bowling at a few other places, I will never be returning here! Not Family Friendly: This place advertises as «Family friendly» but its designed reminds me of a bar. I would not bring my kids here. Overall: I am a 2 – 3 game, 1 – 2 times a month kind of guy. I just want some decent, working, lanes and some good prices. I got neither at this place. With that said, I don’t believe anyone would find this place appealing. High quality bowlers would run into the problem of poorly oiled lanes, broken machines, and too many screens and lights to distract you. Occasional bowlers, just want a place that’s cheap. Not here. Family bowlers do not want to be at a bar or deal with rude and unfriendly staff. Avoid.

We were there on a Sunday evening. Everyone was initially excited to go. We wanted to take photos at the two story bus, and upon walking around the bus, a man taking out the garbage glared at us. Even when we talked to him, he looked grim and didn’t say a word. The mood was definitely altered even before we walked in the door. Then, one in our party was wearing a tank top… but they sold him a t-shirt. However, as others pointed out, there was a party of women wearing very skimpy and tight clothing. The rules are applied unfairly. We did not try the food, though we were hungry. We finished bowling and went elsewhere, not wanting to be served by a staff who seemed to have been trained to Soviet style service standards. The staff in general didn’t crack a smile or offer help or try to help us have a nice time. The bowling was fun but honestly we won’t rush back because the staff was not pleasant. In short, everyone went from excited to go there, to wanting to walk off without finishing the game.
