Worst game day experience ever. Trust me just walk a few blocks east on Church and go to Harry Buffalo or Hamburger Mary’s. This place has no clue. My friend waited 20 minutes at the first bar for a drink before giving up and the middle bar was only marginally better. Yes it was busy but the crowd wasn’t the issue the work assignments were. Too many people messing with receipts and stocking coolers and not enough behind the bar. Worse, however, was the lack of anything resembling an identity. My advice to the ownership: decide what you want to be. A chic night spot or a sports bar? Right now you’re trying to be both and succeeding at neither

I’m pretty sure most of the servers at this restaurant just didn’t make the cut to become a magic dancer. I recall one server saying«Here’s your Genesis» while serving me the Guinness beer I had ordered along with mixing up ALLBUTONE beer we had ordered at the table. It’s a shame considering the place is called«Draft»(for they’re beer selection). Food was decent though, so there’s that.

This spot seems to be pretty nice, but I have to warm up to it more. I the burger was tasty. You get ALOT of fries and fried pickles. Afterward, I got the cheese cake and it was horrible, so definitely do not recommend that. It was like cardboard an nasty! Other than that the waitresses are nice and nice looking. The manager is cool! I will give it more of a chance and see how it ends up in the future.

Lots of beers and I like beers :) Essentially one large area split in half: east half is restaurant/bar style w/great view of the new Magic arena. the west half is more of a dance floor vibe and gets sexier as the night goes on. Mostly hiphop and I think some reggaeton breaks mixed about. Perfect place to pre-game for downtown festivities, or to chill outside of the wildness of downtown. It’s right next to police HQ so it tends to be a safe spot

My wife and I stopped in for a bite before the Celtics/Magic game last night and were very happy. Aside from not having the first two beers I asked for, which for a ‘beer joint’ with an extensive list is embarrassing, the food was excellent. I had buffalo wings. They came hot and crispy and the sauce was awesome. Just hot enough and with a hint of sweet, but not cloying. My wife had spinach dip which was fresh(homemade), hot and creamy and came with fresh fried tortilla chips, made from an herb tortilla. They were light and crispy. The pre-game(event) menu is pretty limited and we only had appetizers, but we’ll be back the next time the Celtics are in town.

My husband and I visited this place about two weeks ago. We walked in around 8pm and the place was completely dead. We sat at the bar, had a couple appetizers(calamari, wings, cheese sticks), and drinks. The food was decent, but the bartender complained about her coworkers to us(for about an hour or so) which I found to be highly unprofessional. The location has three rooms and gives off an upscale and classy vibe, so one should dress fabulously after 10pm. The female employees are attractive with the exception of the one who was complaining… I would revisit this place late night because it is good for dancing(a hip hop spot), but Im in no hurry.

This place is a pretty decent sized venue. It is located directly across the street from the Amway Arena. They have lots of domestic and imported beers on tap. The selection is pretty large. They have televisions located all around the place. If you miss any game, then I don’t know what to tell you. There are so many TV’s. The venue has pretty modernized furnishings, LED lightings on the walls and bar. It’s a pretty neat place. For where it is located, drinks can be about $ 6 a glass/pint, which I would guess is expected for where it is at. I believe during certain times, they do offer food. I went right before a Magic game and stopped in for a quick drink. It’s located in a great area and there are lot of people that flow through here on the way to Amway. I would recommend if want a decent drink before heading in to the Amway Arena, definitely check it out.

1.5 solely for their extensive beer selection. We went on Friday afternoon for what we hoped would be a quick bite before heading over to the Citrus Bowl for the Rutgers — Virginia Tech game. There were about 15 people total in the place. We ordered beers and some food. The beers arrived and we enjoyed them(a Newcastle and a Dale’s Pale Ale). We then started chatting with some of the other patrons about the upcoming game. Another beer was ordered. After about an hour, we asked where the food was. The waitress said, «Oh, that’s right, you ordered food. I never put the order in. So, would you like the check now?» And… that was that. Fail.

I popped in on Wednesday for a quick bite before the Magic game. We were seated right away, but service was pretty unfortunate after that. The waitress disappeared after she took our orders, and the busboy ended up taking care of us for the night. The food itself was OK — quality ingredients with a lot of potential, but overpriced and not necessarily assembled well. My $ 12 Greek salad was swimming in dressing and worth about half the price. The fries were spot on for crispy texture, but they had zero flavor. And I do really wish they offered a vegetarian burger — the fried pickles my boyfriend was served with his burger were DELICIOUS! Overall, the place has a lot working in its favor, but they miss the mark.

Perfectly unremarkable. If you should happen to find yourself here then order the wings as an appetizer, get your beer in a bottle unless you like it warm, and try to sit under a table that doesn’t have a glaring spotlight.

Myself and a co-worker visited Draft for the first time yesterday for lunch between 1:00 and 2:00. I understand the restaurant is under new management so it might be nice for the previous visitors that encountered a bad experience on their visit to give it another try. Lunch was quite enjoyable with prompt service and very tasty fare. I enjoyed a selection from the soup/salads/sandwich offering which included the broccoli cheese soup and a half of a ribeye steak and cheese sandwich. The soup was made with a beer based cheese and was very fresh and light for what is normally a heavier soup and the sandwich was delicious with very tender steak, roasted peppers and onions and melted cheese. It was served on a bun that was really fresh and soft. My co-worker ordered the soup and a half of a chicken salad sandwich and I must admit that this girl is the pickiest when it comes to chicken salad and she loved it. This says something to me, especially when she mentioned that she would like to return. Yes, this establishment may not be right on the main drag east of I-4 but it is just on the other side 2 blocks from Orange and right across from the Amway. I will most definately give Draft another visit and hope that others do as well.

I got a Travelzoo voucher to this place — dinner for 2 with drinks for $ 35 — and decided to look into it. After being seated, we were offered menus and told that all drinks were 2−4−1 for happy hour. Then, after waiting for our waitress to check the validity of our voucher with her manager(um, didn’t they offer the voucher themselves?), we ordered drinks, Wagyu beef sliders to start, and a couple $ 25 Ribeye Steaks. The steaks sounded grand on the menu: premium aged beef, grilled to perfection, served with garlic mashed potatoes and chef’s seasonal veggies. Nice, right? Wrong! After getting our drinks and letting us sit with them for awhile in anticipation of our starter, our waitress came back to inform us that we had been given the wrong menu and that actually everything cost more. Oh yeah, and the 2−4−1 drinks weren’t 2−4−1 after all. Wha??? Then, 5 minutes later she comes back with two plates of what can only be described as school lunch slop: hamburger buns topped with shredded mystery meat of questionable provenance, heated Cheez Whiz, and limp onions, served with a side of frozen seasoned fries. Er, no, we protested, we ordered the Ribeye Steaks. Yep, she said. These are the Ribeye Steaks? we asked. Yep, she said. No garlic mashed potatoes? At least? we asked. Nope, she said. Well, what about our starter? we asked. Oh, this was just what came out first. Then she waltzed away. So we sat in shock and tried to choke down our slop. It was gross, but the fries were good. I think they sell them at Costco. I’ll have to get some. While we were eating, our sliders did eventually make it out. They were way better than the mystery Ribeyes but that’s not saying much. During our meal, we heard the hostess approach the table next to ours, where they’d been seated all of 5 minutes, to ask if they had had a chance to look at the menu. Apparently, the restaurant was running out(of menus!!! The place was virtually empty, especially for a Friday! And were these the«right» menus??) and needed their menus back. Sigh. Even though we asked multiple times to speak with someone, not once did a manager appear. Guess they were too busy laughing their butts off at the fact they were getting away with charging $ 25 for pig slop. Yeah, voucher or no, I will never be back here again.

Great people, nice atmosphere, good prices, music, food, great drinks(the bartenders Jimmy and Alla are very funny)… Perfect place for pregame before or/and after go to the Amway for concerts or the games.

Man, I really, REALLY wanted to enjoy this place. Not really sure what the hell is going on here… Went down to Orlando for a couples weekend, and after eating dinner at a local Tapas place, the guys decided to swing in here to watch the college football games and enjoy some beers. We walked in on a Saturday night at 8pm… and it was just us. Seriously. NOBODY in the entire building but us and the staff. But that just means better service for us, right? Well, we did actually get great service, and that’s about all I can say for the place. They have a lot of draft beers, and I was very happy to see they did have Sam Adams, which is why this place got two stars instead of one. However, they didn’t have any American style lagers, so my buddy(who only drinks Coors Light) had to settle for a bottle. Which they didn’t have. Sold out. Bud Light? Sold out. For real? Who the hell doesn’t have Bud Light or Coors Light– especially a «Beer Lounge» located right next to a major sporting arena in downtown Orlando… We ended up having a beer at the bar, watched a little of the games, then asked the bartender where a more fun place to hang would be. He recommended a local bar a few blocks away that kicked the crap out of this place in every way possible. Big props to him for that– and for the good service, he was actually very cool and a lot of fun. Sorry to see him stuck in this place. Can’t really recommend this place– it might be a lot of fun before or after Magic games, seeing as it’s literally right across the street from the arena– and will not be back.

I have only gone here as a «restaurant experience,» but I can assure you I will not be returning. I went here a few nights ago with some friends and I could describe it with only two words: All alone. We barely saw our original waitress. I say«original» because we must have had 3 different people taking care of us. Turns out, the first one who completely flaked out on us, was the manager. Nice. Asked for an extra setting, since I came a little late, had to ask 2 more people to get it. Need a refill? Forget it. How’s the food? Pretty good. Not worth waiting and waiting. then we FINALLY get our check, but nobody around to pick it up. The ladies at the cashier area were ignoring us. I finally got up to one of the ladies and she told us she couldn’t ring it up but would get our waitress for us. Never to be seen again. Much like her(their?) tip that night. Not impressed.

The night we went to Draft there was a VIP thing happening so we all got free drinks all night and a deal on their food, so of course it was wild and awesome! Draft has a nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor, high-top and booth seating. The food is mainly appetizers, but they come out quick and they come out delicious. We had the crab cake sliders and fries and were not disappointed. The fries were strangely outta control tasty and piping hot! The crowd is twenty to thirty somethings and not intimidating at all. Great time, great bar.

I am not real sure how to rate Draft: as a beer bar or a restaurant. I will give a you an idea of both. With a location right across from the new Amway Arena, Draft is a welcome pit stop before or after a game or other event. As a beer bar, I was pretty impressed with selection of craft and microbrew beers. Service was efficient and not pretentious. If you asked them about a certain beer, they would just give you a sample — no questions asked. The staff did not seem particular beer savvy, but they were busy. The inside is quite a bit more upscale for your average beer bar with a glowing bar. TVs everywhere had the basketball playoffs on the night we were there. Now for the food. Thinking I could get something better outside the Arena, I waited and ordered a late night snack at Draft. The description of what I ordered was as follows: SPINACH&ARTICHOCKEDIP White Ale Braised Spinach and grilled artichoke hearts with crispy Spinach Tortilla Chips. $ 9 First, you will notice that the price was about the same as your typical Arena prices — strike one, but I should have known better given the location. Second, you will notice that the description says nothing about cheese. What I got was what I would describe as a melted cheese dip with some spinach and artichoke mixed in — kind of deceiving and not real good. The chips that came with were pretty good. I know this isn’t a real good food review since I only got an appetizer, but I would definitely recommend a stop into Draft for a good beer at the same or lesser price than what you can get in the Arena — not a real super deal, but a good beer.

I really wanted to love this place, since it is within walking distance of my home. I gave this place two chances. Let me make this short and sweet. The waitress gave us a menu and later told us all the prices were too low(meaning the prices on the menu were incorrect. The real prices were higher than what the menu listed), and never offered to honor the prices. Then we ordered a meal and were served something totally different. At that point we left and went to Ceviche. The second time I went was at midnight. The words from the waitress were, «What do you want because we already had last call.» They only exist for the Orlando Magic fans and I will be surprised if they are still there in two years.

I like this place, seems a little fancy for the location, but didn’t dissuade me. Like that the main bar is wide open to the street. Great place before and after an event or just a Sunday Funday stop! Approx 70 beers on tap in the main bar, love that you can get a «flight»($ 12) or a sampler of the draft beers. You can try 4 different beers at once and the sample was large enough to enjoy. Unfortunately, we were told that this section of the bar isn’t open late night so that was kind of a bummer. Also tried the sampler platter they offer of their spring rolls. All had really robust flavors and unique dipping sauces, it was a slow afternoon and the chef came out to see what we thought! Best and biggest one was the Cheese steak roll, the others were smaller in comparison. Keep up the good work and I will be back!
