Didn’t have a good experience when I came here. Was confronted as soon as I walked in the door with the way my hair was?! The hair cut was ok, nothing special. Any other cheap barbershop could of done the same. Found the location to be convenient however Antonio needs to humble up and learn how to treat customers. Not coming back

Set up an appointment online a few days out. I get a phone call three hours later that day from shop owner saying«How did I hear about him?» I told him I seen shop on Unilocal and was interested in a cut. Owner responds back not able to take new customers at this time… Appears shop rejects new customers as well as from past reviews rejects people because of hair texture.

This is my second visit to Tony’s shop, always a great time. He is a true barber providing an awesome haircut with great conversation. Tony truly makes you feel at home and comfortable. I would recommend his shop to everyone I come in contact with. Not you average shop with 15 barbers cutting hair and getting you out the door.

I have to agree with Denise, I had the exact same experience where I was told that I have a «serious texture issue» and that he could not service me and referred me to other barbers who could handle my texture issues. I had also booked an appointment on his website and when I walked in he began to interrogate me about«how did I find him» and what barbershop I usually go to and why did I leave there. If he would prefer to cherry pick his clients then why not make it clear on your website exactly what texture of hair you specialize in. Who would be able to ascertain from his portfolio that he only specializes in non-textured hair?

I’ve had a lot of different barbers cut my hair throughout my life. Some were great and some were bad. Coming to college, I needed someone to cut my hair, so I met Antonio through a mutual friend and took a leap of faith to let him cut my hair. It ended up being fantastic, and I’ve been coming to his place for almost 2 years. Receiving a haircut from Antonio is a great confidence booster. He always takes care of his clientele, and is a very relatable person. He is definitely in the upper echelon of barbers here in Central Florida. If you need a haircut, this is the man to come to.

This guy hands down knows how to cut hair and the best part about it, he is a businessman. I love the fact i can make an appointment effortlessly, arrive on time and not have to wait and get out quickly, without any compromise to my haircut. The mans clipper game is on point! He takes pride in making sure you’re happy with the cut before you get out of the chair. He takes pride in his craft and there are not a lot of barbers like that out there. He’s not all about volume he’s about quality of service. That’s what keeps me going back. I’m glad I stumbled in there, best decision I’ve made for my hair thus far!

My husband and step son have been coming to Antonio and this barber shop for well over 4 years and have been NOTHING but pleased with every cut they have gotten! Always a very cool atmosphere, great conversation, and quality that we, being Orlando natives, have not found from other shops. While waiting or in passing we have seen a variety of cultures and hair types and Antonio has been able to deliver dope results to each alike… however I will say, in response to a previous comment, IF for ANY reason this Master of cuts felt as though he could not produce the desired results he is and gas been more than honest and referred whichever party to someone who he trusts would do a great job. As with anyone performing a service this honesty is something to be admired as opposed to completing a half as job, taking the money, and sending them on their way. Personally I would prefer someone to be honest from the beginning as all artists(hair, tattoos, for example) typically specialize in a specific style. Quality, honesty, and good service HANDSDOWN can’t be beat! Thanks Antonio!

I truly wish I could give this«business» a ZERO rating. I just returned from the most humiliating experience. Yesterday I logged in to Unilocal to find a barber for my son who is 16. He just returned from summer vacation and needed a cut. I usually drive him about 45 minutes away because I can’t seem to find a decent shop around here in the Avalon Park area. I saw this business and it had a nice arrangement of photos showing fades etc. I quickly booked an appt. and even left work early to make it on time. We walk in, he sees us and his face is dumbfounded as if my son had a Martian growing out of his head. He doesn’t even greet us before he looks at my son and says«hey man I don’t cut your type of hair» he kept insisting that he doesn’t cut curly hair(my son is mixed ½ African American ½ Puerto Rican) he was sorry and that if he would’ve known that he has this type of hair he would’ve told me that he couldn’t do it… ahead of time and not had us even come in. I asked him if he was serious because I truly thought he was joking. I know my jaw was hanging open. He says he usually refers people with curly hair to another guy on in the rented salon spaces. We walked back there and he tried convincing the other guy to cut him today. The guy clearly couldn’t do it and I just told them both to forget about it. At this point I’m pretty much heated because I completely wasted my time. I ask this Antonio how he can call himself a «master barber» if he only cuts straight hair? I said you’re a brother/African American at that… and you don’t cut black hair? He said«that’s not black hair» …I said«oh it’s not?» I walked away out of there in complete disbelief. If you’re a barber you don’t just turn people away because they don’t have straight hair especially if you proclaim yourself to be a «Master Barber» as you can read from all his advertisements. We ended up going to NY Barbershop(by the dominoes pizza) at Avalon Park Blvd where my son was able to get a fresh blowout hair cut with a nice fade and sharp edge. I guess it was meant to be that we found a good spot after a very terrible experience. Once again, humiliating and a very offensive visit overall. Another thing I should mention: this guy had no idea what I wanted to do with my sons hair he didn’t even take a few minutes for a consult but instead he immediately said that he didn’t do his type/kind of hair. For all he knew, I wanted him to get it all shaved off! He wouldn’t have had to use any«expertise» for that. It wasn’t like I was going to ask him to do anything out of the ordinary than a barber usually does. In all the years I’ve taken my son for a cut I’ve never seen a a barber turn anyone away because of hair texture. I had my young daughter with me too luckily they are both secure children who don’t hate their curls and wish they had straight hair. Truly irresponsible and unprofessional.

Don’t waste your time trying out other barbers or hair stylist. Antonio does it all if you have an idea he knows how to do it. And he’s a really cool dude

Finally a barber shop that gets it! I’m always traveling through to the Orlando area and every time am highly disappointed with the quality of its barbershops! I’ve tried them all from the chain, trendy, individuals, etc, etc but none have come close to the quality cut, attention to detail and overall love of the craft as a cut from Antonio! Thanks Antonio and I will definitely be stopping by whenever I’m in the area.

Best cut in Orlando by far! Antonio goes the extra mile to make you feel like a valued customer. He’s creative and perfects any style you want. We all want to look good and feel confident… Antonio makes it happen.
