Colors & Bottles

I really wish I could say I experienced using Colors & Bottles for a painting class but I can’t seem to schedule the class I bought. Despite contacting this company’s headquarters five times via telephone and five times via email I’ve yet to receive a valid and helpful reply to the scheduling problem.
The email I did receive directed me to contact what I believe is their tech-​support department, basically they just said email «Josh». I have received no follow up and this is been going on for over 2 weeks, which is proving to be a total waste of time. I still have no answer as to why I cannot schedule my purchased class. I’m very disappointed by their lack of customer service and follow up. I’m sad because I really wanted to go to this class.

I attended a painting class by Colors & Bottles at the WineWouse at Lake Nona. I purchased a Living Social deal and it was easy to redeem it on their website.
The class I registered for sold out quickly, so only one friend was able to make it with me (a few more wanted to register).
When we arrived at the wine bar the business was just opening. We learned they were opening an hour earlier than usual for the class. While the instructors set up we all visited the bar and ordered drinks.
There was some difficulty at the beginning of the class. There were more attendees than the instructors anticipated, so it took a long time to get everyone set up. Also, the instructor had changed and so we were presented with a different painting than the one we were registered for (we registered for a couple walking in a park, the painting they brought was candles with moths). It was a pretty drastic switch. Fortunately the instructor realized we were unhappy and on the fly decided to go ahead and teach the original painting. I was so impressed! She took a picture of the painting we wanted for someones phone and not only painted it herself, but managed to teach us all the painting like she had done it before. Amazing.
All of our paintings came out great.
I have attended several other painting classes from other businesses and this one was good, but not my favorite… The disorganization at the beginning made us run behind so we felt a little rushed at the end. Also I didn’t feel like the canvas and paints were very good quality. The other class I attended had canvases that were on a frame so they were easy to hang. These were just a flat board… Not sure how to hang it.
Overall, it was lots of fun. I’ll probably go back. The location was great and I like the style of paintings they offer.

I rediscovered my love for painting through participating in a Colors & Bottles art workshop with some girlfriends. It was held in a local restaurant so we could sip on some wine and munch on some appetizers while letting our creativity flow. The instructor painted alongside the group guiding our strokes yet encouraging individuality. It was a fun evening out and we plan on attending future events!
