It’s a beautiful venue, but the doorman was drunk with power! He gave my friends and I a hard time about our IDs because they were old. Then proceeded to say I looked to young for my ID! Keep in my mind, I’m older than guy. It was just disappointing way to start the night. When the night ended, he proceeded to harass my friends to leave, while leaving the other people in bar alone. We were not loud, or disrespectful, yet we got treated like crap. The bartenders were great, and the DJ was really good as well, but I rather avoid being questioned 21 questions to get in a bar…

This place makes me feel cool. The bar prices are decent, and I was able to go upstairs to my room afterward – always a plus.
I was here for a special event, but will happily come back for a ‘normal’ evening’s entertainment when I’m in town next.

Went on a Friday evening. Only a few people were there, which from past experience is typical unless there is a special event. This is the refurbished Backstage Night Club at the Rosen Plaza on I-​Drive. Much improved and updated design. There is now a view and access to the pool and outside bar area. Parking is free — if the closest spots are filled, you can park in the back and go in through the back hotel entrance where the main ballroom is.
Not pretentious as the Blue Martini, which is across the street, can be, with the same live music (literally the same bands sometimes) and DJs and no cover charge (except for Wednesday Comedy night here). Specialty drinks are around $ 10. Decent dance floor.
Comedian: Wednesdays 8:00pm ($ 10 cover)
Band: Fridays and Saturdays 9:00pm-11:30pm
DJ: Thursdays-​Saturdays: 11:00pm-2:00am
