I have had the privilege of visiting the Cheyenne Saloon a few times over the years. Mostly for private parties or major events that have rented out the place for their party. The building itself is beautiful and I can highly recommend renting it out for events your company might want to throw. There is a main stage… a dance floor… tons of bar space… and a good sound system. The only down side for me is the lack of larger bathrooms and parking is soon going away from under the I-4. Atmosphere = 9 Food/liquor = 8 Service = 7 So if you see a event at the Cheyenne, go for it! Enjoy!

This place is worth going to, just to see the the inside of the building. It is a beautiful and magnificent structure, looks like its right out of the wild west. I like stopping here for a drink from time to time to enjoy the ambiance of this place. If you like country music you can hang out here all night and have a great time.

I am so glad that the Cheyenne Saloon was saved, the building is absolutely GORGEOUS and really brings back childhood memories as I walked the halls. The saloon is a good venue with ample seating all with good views of the stage. There are 3 cameras that project the artist(s) onto an overhead screen. The dance floor is relatively small but sufficient. The place has a cozy feeling, probably due to the warm wood carvings and floors and stained glass everywhere. All in one night they had a live act, funny-money gambling tables(Blackjack, Roulette, Poker), dinner and drinks. I’ve sampled their food once a few months back and it is decent. Drinks are maybe even cheaper than you might expect; our bottled beer was only $ 3.75. Our server was on top of things and checked frequently to see if we needed anything. Also nice is that since they serve food there is no smoking inside. One thing I did not like was the low bathroom doors. I could walk by the stalls and see right over! Yikes! I just love feeling the history of the place and enjoying the beauty. Definitely worth a stop in if you are new to the area and have never been before.

Another newish establishment in the revamped Church Street Station area. I was amazed upon entering Cheyanne for the first time. This so-called saloon was breathtaking. The main hall is comprised of a large open area for dancing and balcony after balcony with wide staircases leading up from either side and joining in the middle old south style. The place has the tallest ceiling of any club/bar I have ever seen. Unfortunately in this case a picture really does tell a thousand words and this description isn’t doing Cheyanne justice. If you aren’t a country fan stop by anyway just to check it out, it really will be worth it. Their are bars going down either side of the place and a dance floor complete with stage for live acts in the middle. The second floor houses another bar, pool tables, and ample seating as well as an outdoor balcony for smokers or gazing down Church St. The third floor is VIP and is a smaller balcony looking down on the other two floors for an amazing view with a bar going across the back. They even have their own poker room off to the side of the first floor for their themed poker nights where cards are dealt liberally and eyes are narrowed across tables. Cheyanne has jumped on the bandwagon and declared Wednesday nickel beer night, but Thursdays are my favorite. Line dancing! Yeehaw. In my case, I don’t like country music but line dancing has always tickled my fancy and learning those choreographed dances gives me a sense of accomplishment. And due to the sheer size of Cheyanne it never gets crowded here, deeming it a great place for those who need their space, its a non smoking facility as well. Clientele varies, sure there are those rednecks who come to get a taste of the old west but there are plenty of quote unquote regular patrons too. And the age range is wide. I love to throw on my cowboy boots, dust off my hat, and pretend I’m a southern belle when heading there. But that’s just me. Cheyanne is a fun place to go for something different when all the old standbys just seem old. And don’t worry, they play regular top forty stuff mixed in with the country for those who aren’t down with the fine art of the line.

My first reaction upon walking in to Cheyenne’s was«wow!» The place is impressive from the moment you enter. It is a gorgeous building — three stories with balconies, enormous chandeliers, and five bars. Everything is hardwood and shiny. It is definitely aesthetically pleasing! The place is HUGE, so you don’t have to worry about being crowded and uncomfortable. There is a lot to do at the Cheyenne Saloon. If poker is your thing, they have Poker Parlor that holds tournaments nightly. The proceeds go to charity, so while you’re having a good time you can also feel good that your helping a good cause. The dance floor is on the ground floor and is horseshoe shaped. There is a huge television monitor hanging high above it that plays everything from 80s rock to good ol’ country. When I was there, the music ranged from«Love Shack» by The B52s to «Girls, Girls, Girls» by Motley Crue. My friends and I were having a great time dancing to some songs that we hadn’t heard in a long time. Cheyenne seems to host a lot of local events. On the particular Friday night we went, they were hosting an event for 104.1 Real Radio. You can check out their website for an calendar with upcoming events. All in all, I’d like to check out Cheyenne again. It’s a great atmosphere, laid back crowd, and a beautiful location!
