New name recently rehabbed still same location and a lot of the same old problems. When your biggest selling points is we added backs to the seats and people over 5’6″ now have leg room that doesn’t really hold for a lot of excitement. Adding one video board to just one side makes you wonder a little. Yeah it fits 60,000 but the lucky 30,000 that get to sit in the nose bleed don’t bother you still get the lovely seats of circa 1930’s to sit have fun. The food is crazy town pricey and just as bad as one may think a $ 10 burger would be. You want a cover to that water. Nope not happening. And if it rains well good luck getting your car out of that dirt lot we called a parking lot your paid way to much for. It’s the same old run down Citrus Bowl you avoided and should still.

In preparation for ticket purchase, I visited several ticket resale sites, and read many reviews. I ended up with two tickets in section 146, first row. It reminded me of all the best things about college football: great view of the scoring action in the north end zone, next to my team’s band, with exuberant alumni, just above the dance team(really, not a better seat in the stadium for the dance team, I could’ve reached down and tapped the coach on her shoulder) and the sense that there were very few elitist boxes above me, everyone mighty and not-so-mighty enjoying the same sunshine and spectacle. Sure, I understand some of the criticisms about neighborhood, traffic, and parking, which might have been a muddy mess on a rainy day. But, on a sunny January 1, and with my team victorious, I was perfectly satisfied with the Citrus Bowl.

What an awesome awesome awesome awesome place in Orlando, Florida!!! Anytime I get to come to this beautiful stadium I start to get the competitive juices going because this place has history and tradition going back to the original location of the citrus bowl. I am just so disappointed that I never got a chance to visit or see a game there. I do however remember seeing a number of new years day games on tv excited to the teams play! Getting back to the new citrus bowl, the building has a great staff and people that are here to help and welcome you. Also I have volunteered here 2 years in a row for several college football games and the fans are awesome. I actually have had the chance to see the games amongst the fans and it is a great experience to see raw and passionate fans cheer for their teams. I will always continue to volunteer here and hopefully work here to for Florida Citrus Sports(people that run the show) and let them know how appreciative I am of being allowed to be a guest in their house.

This was my first time at the Orlando Citrus bowl and my first Michigan game. Big expectations for an unknown venue. We bought tickets ahead of time on vivid seats, lower bowl endzone. You can park outside the stadium for around $ 40, pretty rough area and lots of scalpers. Be Careful, several people got ripped off with fake tickets. Print out tickets before hand, WILLCALLWILLNOTPRINT. Internet is not available because of crowd. Only 1 bar with liquor and the food is hot dogs and burgers … EATBEFORE. The stadium sits well and plenty of leg room. Overall had a good time, maybe because Michigan won by 35 points. GOBLUE !!

I love the new look of this iconic venue in Orlando. I hadn’t been there for at least 2 years and I just visited for one of the bowl games and it totally blew me away. the amount of work and care that’s been put into the Citrus bowl makes me feel proud of the city and makes me look forward to many more great events there. Kudos to all involved for making fans their #1 priority when remodeling it.

Another great venue in Central Florida. The home of the Orlando City! The concessions serve pretty good food and very clean.

My daughter and I visited the Orlando Citrus Bowl for the USA vs Brazil game last weekend. Though we enjoyed ourselves, their water availability was extremely poor during half-time. We found it difficult to keep hydrated in the heat and vendors refused to give ice or tap water while not having any bottled of their own for us to purchase. This was disappointing. However, the game in itself was a blast.

Great seats, excellent facility — but frankly I’m a little pissed that a) sodas are $ 5 a bottle and beer is $ 11 — and it’s not like it’s amazing beer/soda, it’s pretty standard food court swill b) they confiscate the caps of your beverage bottles and pop open your cans of beer so unless you’re an alien with bonus appendages or have telekinesis you’re going to have to get super creative trying to carry your stash to your seats and c) they provide no cup holders or other place to secure any of your food/beverages in the rows to prevent other people from stepping on/kicking them over. Major fail as far as value and ergonomics are concerned. Gave two stars because we got access to the plaza club deck as part of the $ 600+ seats we bought. That was a very nice surprise. But seriously, get some cup holders! Wth? I cannot clap for my team with a beer in my hand — I need a freaking cup holder.

We come here for OCSC games and while the seating and bathrooms are nice and plentiful, the severe weather issues hamper it from being great. The grass and tail gate area has poor drainage and gets muddy and nasty when it rains. I literally saw two or three cars get stuck in the mud while tailgating.

Newly renovated, the stadium has come a long way. Instead of benches, you get individual seats(with backs!). I know, it’s sad when that’s a selling point. The stadium is equipped with large screens, lots of bathrooms, and overpriced food and drink vendors(naturally). I got to check out the VIP area, and I don’t think it’s worth the extra cost. Service was lacking, but hopefully it will get better over time. Overall, I appreciate the upgrades, but it’s still just your average stadium.
