While the property is very well maintained, the maintenance staff promptly and effectively responds to and fixes things, and a friendly office staff, my biggest complaints are the costs associated with living here and the noise. I have been in Camden for 5 years, 4 of those in a one bedroom on the third floor. While I did not experience any noise issues, the cost of a 1 X 1 was exorbitantly high, especially for such a small square footage of space(nearly $ 1,000 for under 700 sq ft). However, when my daughter was born it was necessary to move to a bigger place. Despite the fact that Camden was the cheapest for a 2 X 2 in the area(and I did my research), I would rather live in my old shoebox of an apartment in exchange for peace in my place of residence. I am fully aware that living on the first floor comes with hearing the tenants above. And normal living noises I can handle. But when the tenants above are disturbing the peace with running, stomping, and jumping, so much so that my kitchen light rattles, my ceiling fan shakes, and my keys hanging on the key rack jingle as a result of their«living», that goes beyond the scope of normal living noises, especially when it is at all hours of the day and night. I have frequently emailed, spoken with the office staff, and called for a courtesy officer past 10pm. I have also heard the parents yelling at their two children through the ceiling. Ultimately, the office manager told me that because it is not music or television or parties, that my complaint does not constitute an official noise complaint and there is nothing that can be done. When I further explained to the office manager that their noise keeps my daughter and myself up, there was no concern on her end. Basically they can make all the stomping and jumping and dropping of blunt objects they want, whenever they want, and the office does not care to handle the situation because it’s not their music or TV the noise is coming from. When I lived on the 3rd floor, there was never a noise complaint made against me, at least to my knowledge. If there was, the office never brought it to my attention, which is food for thought in giving consideration to how they handle these issues. I truly will either be breaking my lease or not renewing come the end of my lease due to the inconvenience of living here. And while the office staff certainly did not construct the apartments, they(or at least the manager) can at least do their due diligence. And in that endeavor, they have failed. I would not recommend living here.

This community really does wonders for your quality of life. Ever since moving here I have felt a sense of calmness around me. The lake view from my apartment is really beautiful and my neighbors are all very friendly whenever I run into them walking the dogs or just around the community. I love using the fitness center and pool here and whenever I need anything the professional staff is always happy to help. If you are looking for a great place to live and beautiful apartment homes, you should definitely check out Camden Lago Vista.

I don’t live here but I visited the property when searching for a new apartment. When I visited the property, I viewed 1-bedroom apartments. The apartments all seemed super clean and they didn’t have the sour smell that you smell in some places. The 1 bedroom I saw had a MASSIVE closet. I’m pretty sure I could have put a twin bed in there. The pool area and gym seemed very nice and well-maintained. Parking seems like it might be pretty tight. I likely would have moved into this property if I could have obtained a second gate fob. I have a dog walker and needed to be able to get a second fob. They said that I couldn’t get one(even for a fee). What a shame! I fell in love with the apartment I viewed but the fob thing was a deal breaker. I worked with a leasing agent named Alicia. She was amazing. She made me feel very comfortable. She wasn’t bothered by all of my questions(and I ask a lot of questions!). She’s also not pushy. She was the best leasing agent I met when I came down to Orlando to look at apartments before my move from out of state.
