Enjoyed the 3 cheese sandwich(minus the peppers). The sandwich was great and quite cheesy. It was a nice lite meal. Everything on Citywalk is expensive and this place isn’t an exception. The food was good for Citywalk, but would be better if it was slightly cheaper.

We were looking for a place that didn’t have a long line and ended up in a place that had excellent food and a very reasonable price for a theme park restaurant. The place is clean, the service is excellent. We received better service here than we have in some sit down restaurants.

Decent sandwiches, but certainly not special. I had the pastrami and it was mediocre, but not bad. The meat tasted like what you get in the pre-sliced stuff at the grocery store. Friendly service, attentive staff too. Prices were high like you’d expect at a theme park, two sandwiches with either tater tots or fries and two drinks for $ 25! My wife enjoyed her BLTA more than I did my sandwich. Mine was just bland and boring.

We ordered togo and it took 32-minutes for two deli sandwiches… and there were less than 10-people in the entire place. Haven’t tried the food but service was worst in universal and we are mega fans of all universal, hope this was just an off day or something.

Every time I visit Universal, I always end up eating either here, or at the sushi bar. This place is phenomenal, and a bit nostalgic with the swing set seats, and bar stools. Plus the color scheme reminds you of a mom and pop diner. The service is one of the best I’ve ever gotten. Many places sort of ignore younger guests, but my younger sister and I always found great people working. But most importantly, the sandwiches are so good. I’ve even gotten and to-go order, and took it into Universal as my friends and I waited for and concert. The best sandwich there has got to be their Veggie Melt. It’s just so perfect, I could become a happy vegetarian on just this. I’ve had their other meat sandwiches, but this one is the winner. The bread is salty and buttery browned. There’s a good balance with bitter arugula, and creamy avacado. There’s also I think cheese and onions caramelized, plus tomatos, mushrooms, and a heavenly amount of truffle oil. You’ll want to inhale it all in one bite, I swear it’s really really good.

This is by far the best value at Universal for counter service. The sandwiches are made to order, the fries are always hot, and the beer is cold. One of my favorite places to eat when visiting Universal Orlando. As an annual pas holder that is quite frequently.

Bread Box is one of the fast food outlets at CityWalk. I decided to try the Smokey Brisket sandwich since the combination of caramelized onions, horseradish and cheese sounded delicious.(Yup — I was indifferent to the«heart» of the sandwich, which was the brisket.) Alas, the brisket was dry and the sandwich was sad. The fries were okay. However, all is not lost. Apparently, the grilled cheese sandwich was«amaaaaazing». A young patron was literally gushing about its amazing-ness to a waiter. Either said patron was drunk or it was really that good. Likely the latter since she didn’t look to be of legal drinking age. So, the takeaway is… try the grilled cheese sandwich?

We were visiting city walk to see an imax movie the day before we started to check out the theme parks. We decided to eat lunch after the movie around 3pm. Many of the restaurants didn’t open until 4pm, so we decided to try a sandwich from here. I expected all of the food to be served with chips. Most sandwich places chose chips as the main side but here they served fries. They were decent fries(though I was sick of having fries with my meals at the time). I had the buffalo chicken sandwich which was good with a decent amount of chicken and toppings. Overall the portion was small for the price. I usually cannot finish a sandwich and take half home but here I had the whole meal. My partner ordered an Italian sandwich and liked it along with the fries. Our total order(with one drink) was $ 23. Personally that’s a little steep for lunch but we were kind of expecting overpriced food at the Citywalk. Good food for lunch and not too horribly overpriced like other places at Universal. Worth a try! Service was good though it rained this day and a lot of people were leaving or in the theme parks so the place was empty. I should add that when they brought our drinks and food, the employee was chatty and personable. I respect that when they deal with lots of tourists everyday. It can be hard to be that friendly and chatty so I def give an extra star for that!!!

Excellent sandwiches and attentive service. Healthy choices and a clean and comfy atmosphere. Highly recommend. We enjoyed the hot veggie sandwich, roast beef, chicken salad — skipped the shakes but they looked good. Very glad we found this spot — we shall return!

Had the Patty melt and a shake. Great good. The one thing you have to do is, eat there. Don’t take it to go other wise bread will get soggy. Other than that it was great

This place is good to go if you want to escape from burgers and hot dogs and just want a nice sandwich or hot melt. They serve them all with fries so it’s a pretty big feed. Not the best sandwiches ever but it’s nice enough.

Excellent food, good portion, good amount of options, great service, and fantastic environment. No problem adding things or swapping breads, etc… Each sandwich is made fresh when ordered. They even have Milk Shakes and Beer to make it the perfect meal. Why are you not here yet?

After the deep fried dishes in the theme parks, a healthy dish here us welcome for us. The environment of the restaurant is great. The bread is delicious. It’s freshly made and healthy. Besides the fries which you will get with it.

Well in this area of the attraction I was looking for a good restaurant to have breakfast. The food was basic in the menu but with any added item you will pay for it, but it is not the other way around I. e if you decided to take off any item the price will be the same. The food was average. I have ordered the 3 cheese, it comes with French fries. The chairs is dirty with leftover food in the chairs & floor. The salt & pepper dispenser is dirty also. They deliver the food to your table which is great. The atmosphere is nice with old music. The seating area is large enough to accommodate a lot of guests. Friendly staff. They need to concentrate more on the cleaning of the restaurant.

After a long day in a theme park, I was walking to my car and decided to try out Bread Box. I have seen it many times before but never went in. Today I went in and it was empty. My first thought was… its really bad and nobody is eating here… or it’s so hidden, nobody knows its here. I went for the latter… Since I was the only person there, I was greeted with a smile and a hello. The girl at the register answered a few questions I had and I decided on the Chicken Salad and fries. I love chicken salad and wanted to see how their stack up. I ordered, paid and took a seat. In about 5 min, my sandwich was brought out to me. They had given me a pager so I could come and get it but again, since I was the only person in the place, the girl who took my order brought it out to me. That was nice of her. It was very tasty chicken salad on thick cut bread. Just enough mayo to keep it wet. the chicken was not dry(a pet peeve of mine) and to my delight, they put potato chips on it! That gave it a nice crunch with every bite. The fries were good too. All in all, a nice meal for a okay price. Atmosphere — 8 Service — 9 Food — 9 I am looking forward to going again in the future is this place survives. By the time I was leaving, more customers had come in. There was maybe 15 people in all so they do get busy. I love me a good sandwich! Enjoy!

My hubby and I literally arrived atndwere so hungry that we wanted to eat something quick at The City Walk. Also, for some reason I was craving a sandwich. We saw this place and decided to try it out. It was really close to dinner time and we wanted to share something quick. We ordered a Ruben and it was ok. Noting special about it. One thing I do remember vividly is that the bread had too much butter on it. They used it to toast the bread. I’ve never had a Ruben with toasted bread before. It was odd. The décor was cute and we sat at one of the tables with porch swings as their seat. It seemed like a great idea until you had to get out. Eh, it was ok.

The sandwiches were delicious(especially the brisket) and the service was pretty fast. Prices were a little steep but that’s to be expected at Universal Studios. The french fries were addictive. You can get free refills on your sodas if you ask.

Food was real good. I had the Chicken Salad Sandwich with Fries and it was quite enjoyable, especially the fries! My only complaint is it took a bit longer than I was expecting but still a good experience.

The only thing I can comment on is the Milk Shakes… We ordered two nutella milk shakes and one vanilla. I forget the exact names of each shake but you get the point I hope. To be honest with you I wasn’t expecting much out of this place as the menu didn’t portray itself as being a ice cream of milk shake kind of place. When they arrived to the table they were all beautifully put together and smelled amazing. It was the kind of «art work» you almost didn’t want to eat, but simply look at. But… we ordered them for a reason so we drank them. They were not the best milk shakes we have ever had but still very good. Lets put it this way next time I am in Universal City walk and I want anything ice cream related I will go back and get one of these shakes EVERYTIME. As for the food like I said I can not comment on that as I did not order any food. Looking at other patrons the food was presented well and from what I heard the by the tables immediately surrounding ours they all seemed to like what they got. I do have to agree with other reviewers on here and say the food did seem a little on the pricey side.

Good sandwiches — I had a BLTA and BF had a BBQ brisket sandwich. My sandwich was so tasty — avocado and bacon? yums! My BF’s sandwich was very tasty and pretty moist. They don’t serve fries, so my BF went to Burger King to buy some & no one said anything. There’s a porch swing kinda seating area, that looked kinda cool to sit at… but another party was seated there already. Wah. Definitely better than Arby’s — which is what I would compare it to in fast food terms.
