Small(wish it was bigger) local diner w/lotsa fans by line outside Sunday morning, although wait wasn’t as bad as anticipated. My Husband loves breakfast food & had his usual corn beef hash, fried potatoes eggs etc. He said potatoes were outstanding & food great! I got grilled chicken salad and it was simple, plenty and chix cooked perfect! However, I was eyeing the table next to us who got the Philly cheesesteak w/mushrooms and onions… let’s just say we’ll ve back!

After having stopped here for breakfast only to find it closed multiple times(vacations?), my husband and I finally arrived to an open restaurant. I have heard so many wonderful things about this place – but at the end of the day it is still typical diner fare. I ordered scrambled eggs, french toast and bacon. My husband had the patty melt. My french toast was tasty, but too much butter. The eggs were more gooey than fluffy. Also, the restaurant was very small – we had to wait for a table, and the service was slow – much slower than many of the other breakfast joints in the area.

I’m giving this four because they deserve more than three although I’d like to give it 3 ½. Typical diner fair at a decent price. We seated ourselves and didn’t have to wait too awfully long although our waitress was knee-deep in a conversation with another patron and don’t seem in a rush to end it. There was a definite friendly atmosphere and their clientele is clearly a large batch of regulars; like Cheers, everyone seemed to know everybody’s name. d When my daughter and I walked in everything stopped and the entire restaurant looked up. It was like a western where everyone in the saloon checks out the stranger when he enters. It was strange, but kind of funny. I had expected someone wearing a badge to come over and ask how long we were staying in these parts. I had the biscuits and gravy and it was the gravy that made the visit for me. The biscuits were okay, but their gravy is real sausage gravy with giant piece of sausage in it. The gravy had a normal amount of pepper in it which is probably a good thing the sausage had some kick to it and it favored the gravy beautifully. They have a chicken fried steak so I assume they use the gravy for that as well. The service was okay(our waitress wasn’t rude, but I wasn’t asked if I wanted another drink) and the prices were pretty good. My daughter just had bacon because«my daughter.» It looked like typical restaurant bacon(my wife works in the industry so I’ve learned to recognize that kind of thing), but she wolfed it down because that’s what she does. It’s close enough to the airport that it’s worth the drive for the gravy.

Eh. Service okay, food uneventful and boring. Nothing creative or interesting. I won’t be in a hurry to go out of my way to eat here.

Great local breakfast or meat and 2 lunch place. Sausage gravy is the real thing, not Sisco. Order ½ order per person, it’s a lot of food. For meat, go for the sausage links, but it all looks good. Eggs were perfect and the coffee was right. This is a small place and the locals pack it out so allow a bit of time for the servers to get with you. They were hustling and adding more would just cause them to get in the way.

This is becoming our goto Sunday breakfast. I get the Denver omelette with the home fries and rye toast. My wife gets the New Orleans omelette which is a three egg open face omelette covered with home fries, sausage gravy, and cheddar cheese. They have a kids menu with pancakes and french toast. Get there early on Sundays as there’s almost always a line for a table.

We tried Bob’s twice the first time we just wrote off to maybe it was just a bad trip to the restaurant the second time was our last time the food was nothing special by far there’s other restaurants in the Conway area that are far superior just across the street was one of the places the service was horrendous the waitresses were wearing shorts they should have been wearing stockings just a real turn off to an area that’s really in need of some good restaurants sorry but we won’t be back

This place has the best breakfast by far in the Conway area. I recommend the New Orleans Omlette. The service is great. The ladies have been serving for years and they know what they’re doing.

Small little diner. Always has great food. Recommend the French dip if you like roast beef and the gator hot sauce.

After seeing the happy faces walk out of Bob’s I decided to give it a try and all I can say is, wow! I tried the famous cheese steak. As a take out order and I am so glad that I did. Juicy, tasty and still hot after a 15 minute drive back to the office. Only a few tables in the restaurant but just enough to feel cared by the lovely servers. I soooo recommend it and I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

We eat at Bob’s just about every weekend and thoroughly enjoy it! I started eating at Bob’s when it was in a different location until my company moved. A few months later, Bob’s moved to a location that is so close to my house I could easily walk there, but after filling up on breakfast, walking home would be nearly impossible but probably really good for me! I’ve NEVER had a meal that was anything be fresh, flavorful, reasonably priced, and served with a smile from either Tina or Tammy. You can’t beat this place for great Southern breakfasts and quick, delicious lunches. If you want a great burger you’ve got to eat at Bob’s. And show up early for lunch on Friday if you want some of the best clam chowder in Orlando as Bob makes his from scratch every Friday and it sells out fast. In fact, all of Bob’s soups are made form scratch and change daily. If you get lucky enough to hit the beef and cabbage soup order a bowl, a cup just won’t be enough! So many people from the neighborhood eat there that my husband calls it «Cheers!» I say«cheers» to everyone there for making us all feel like friends and family. Enjoy!

We eat at Bob’s almost every weekend. The food is great and the service is spectacular. I typically order the 2, 2, 2 and 2 which is 2 pieces of bacon, 2 sausages, 2 eggs and 2 pancakes except that I opt for all turkey sausage. Sometime turkey sausage will be bland, but their’s has lot of flavor. Pancakes are nice and thick. Every now and then I change it up and order a turkey sausage and cheese omelet, which is also delicious. Of course, we have to get two scrambles eggs for our dogs. Lol

It was nice to finally try breakfast at Bob’s Diner. I opted for eggs, pancakes, sausage, and bacon. It was a typical diner style breakfast with very thick, biscuit-like pancakes.

This place doesn’t quite live up to the hype. It was just okay. I ordered a burger medium well. It turned out to be half medium well and half rare. I don’t know how they pulled that off, but the Medium well half was good. My wife ordered eggs, sausage, pancakes and bacon. The best word to describe the pancakes was biscuit-y. Not quite our preference. The sausage was good, but the rest of the food was just okay. It’s not a bad place, but it’s unlikely we’ll come back.

This has been the second time I ate breakfast here. And both times I have been here, the dining area has been full. Bob’s Diner is on the small side, having only twelve tables. Nine of the tables are for parties up to four people, and three are for parties of two. With the service being prompt, most of the diners eat their breakfast and leave promptly. So getting a table should not be a problem. Though both times I have been here, it has been during the week. So as far as the weekend service and table availability is concerned, I could not comment on that. Bob’s Diner serves a great breakfast. And lunch is served as well. Breakfast specials are offered, featuring eggs with choice of potato(home fries, hash browns, grits) a choice of meat(bacon, sausage, ham, country fried steak) and toast. Platters with pancakes or french toast are also served, as well as omelets. For me, I had the two eggs(over light) sausage, home fries, and wheat toast. And the home fries took up half of the plate. No small orders of potatoes here! Eggs where cooked the way I like them, and two sausage patties. With coffee, the total came to $ 7.08. A lady seated at the next table had the breakfast sandwich. And from the looks of it, it required a third hand to eat! On the times I have been here, there has been two waitresses who are constantly on the move. Whether taking orders, bringing out meals, or pouring a second cup of coffee, they both provide a great service. And they both make all diners feel welcome. Engaging in conversation with several other diners, it appears that there are many regulars here at Bob’s. The dining area is always clean, and the tables are cleared promptly after diners leave. Photos of wildlife decorate the walls. Most of the photos are of birds and water fowl, but I did see a photo of an otter and a alligator. A great place to go for breakfast before starting the day. If you live near the Belle Isle/Conway area, or just happen to be in the area, breakfast here is worth stopping in for.

First time stopping by here. I have heard from locals this place is awesome so I finally decided to try it. It was wonderful I ordered the two eggs, two pancakes, and two sausages. The food was very delicious and the pancakes were to die for. The server was also very attentive and checked on us often. I cant wait to come back.

Hands down one of the absolute best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time… If I lived in this area it would definitely be a favorite! Delicious blueberry pancakes, fresh cut home-fries…killer biscuits and gravy! Try the cheese steak omelet with tomatoes and cheddar!!! I’m stuffed!

I love breakfast. It is truly my most favorite meal of the day. Any time I can have grits, biscuits, and a great omelet, I am a happy girl. I took my dad to Bob’s for a hearty breakfast, as we had a full day ahead of us. We were greeted and seated immediately, and the coffee started flowing right away. This is how every breakfast should start! I ordered the Denver omelet– a 3 egg omelet with ham, onion, peppers and some really good gooey white cheese. Yum! For sides I choose the home fries and some rye toast. I cannot recall the name of the dish my dad ordered, but it came with biscuits and gravy and he also ordered a side of grits that could feed an army. The food came out fast and was nice and hot. Everything was excellent. Our server kept our coffee cups full. Other reviewers have mentioned that this is a small place and fills up fast. It wasn’t too busy when we arrived, but there were groups waiting outside when we left. I would suggest arriving early if you don’t like to wait.

I would’ve never known about this place since I am never in the Conway area. A good friend of mine from my Jazzercise classes has worked here forever so thought I would check out plus my husband looooves diner food. We also invited a good friend to join us on this new breakfast adventure. :) Went on a Sunday morning. It’s located in the corner of a shopping plaza on S. Conway. It’s a small establishment with maybe 12 tables at the most. Make sure to get your name on the list as soon as you get there because the line will keep forming and you want to avoid confusion on who was there first. We really didn’t have to wait too long. The menu was a nice selection of simple diner food and you can order off the breakfast or lunch menu any time of day. I went with the veggie omelet and went with the home fries at the recommendation of our waitress. And I added a biscuit on the side. The wait time was not long at all. They seem to have a good system here. The waitresses were very attentive and plates were continuously coming out of the kitchen. The portions are huuge which shocked me when you see how low the prices are. Amazing. I loved everything I got. The home fries were scallopped style potatoes and not dry at all. Very flavorful actually. Tammy brought me some of their Gator Hammock gator sauce to try with the eggs. Tangy but had a kick. Loved it! So make sure to ask if you like spicy flavors. I can’t say enough great things about the biscuit that changed my life. LOL. Nice, thick and fluffy and huge! I ate as much as I could until I was completely stuffed. Def worth it to add on if you are a carbaholic like i am! :) My husband got the biscuits with sausage gravy. No Winter Park portions here! It was a huge plate that could’ve easily fed a small army !! He loved it! And my friend enjoyed her French toast too. They are both former Nashville residents so they know country cooking and this place does it right! And when we got the bill, it was $ 24 for 3 people! Completely insane. So please, PLEASE take care of your friendly, hardworking servers and tip! We will definitely be back again! Definitely worth the drive out. Our tummies are thanking us too. :)

Great little COUNTRY style cooking in Conway. Saturdays and Sunday always a crowd for breakfast. Look for the specials as they come up with some pretty good ones for Breakfast. Usually they have one plated for you to look at! Everything is cooked to order and served pretty quick. You might see a line outside as this is a small place with only about 12 to 15 tables and is located next to a Church. So Sunday will be crowded depending on when Church lets out and you get there. Staff is very friendly and always enjoys banter with the customers. I have never eaten there for anything other than breakfast but I am sure lunch is just as good.
