Big Lots

This place is trash. If you wanna go inside a establishment where the homeless gather, this Big Lot is the place to go. Rude and unmotivated employees, disorganized shelves, and the most unsatisfactory feeling of walking inside the store should be reason enough to avoid this place.

I’ve always liked Big Lots. If you’re a member of their email list, they send lots of good coupons. I keep a candy bowl at work, and I find good prices on bagged candy here.
Big Lots also get lots of neat unique food items I like to try every now and then.

I went to this store on January 5^th and I felt totally uncomfortable from the time I entered until I left the store. The employees were very cold in their demeanor and I assumed that they are unhappy working there. The same feeling you get when you enter Family Dollar. I would never return to this store again. I left without purchasing a single item. Usually you might get a employee, but to have everyone act this way makes me think about the store who employs people who don’t make me feel welcomed. Why should I spend money on a company like this? If they can’t keep their employees happy, then I ask myself, do they care about the customers the same way?

I normally do not go to Big Lots. But I did find some unusual Christmas décor and stockings. Whenever I have been here, the place is always messy and unorganized. It looks like people see things and instead of putting them back they just throw them anywhere. The store always seems dirty.
I may stop by from time to time and just check things out. Not one of my destination stores.

Big Lots is one of those places that you either find what your looking for or not. It’s usually a «hit or mss». I only go there if I am looking for something in particular.
For instance, I was looking for a cheap microwave when my combo microwave/​convection oven was in for repair and I found one there for $ 50. When I was looking for «Snuggies» a few years ago, I found the child size ones there for $ 10.
Other than that I hardly ever shop there and am scared to buy food there because the stores are always so dirty!
But give it a try for electronics, household goods, crafting items or old DVDs at $ 3.

Ew! Just simply… EW! This location is always nasty, smelly and completely disorganized. They rarely have what you need, and on the off chance that they do, it’s broken or missing something. The last time I was there, I had to use their bathroom, against my better judgment. I ran right back out. There was a huge roach on the wall, a lizard on the floor and the toilet was completely filled with pee, poop and toilet paper. I nearly threw up! I couldn’t even find anyone in the store to let them know they need to clean their store up.
When you can find someone to help you, they speak little to no English, and if you can find someone who does speak English, they don’t know what you’re talking about.
They also never have any carts or hand baskets. How are you supposed to carry your items without a basket or cart? Just avoid this one!

This location specifically is disgusting & worthless. Whatever it is you’re looking for, you will not find it here, I can guarantee it.
I cant express how filthy & trashy this store is, just take my word for it & save yourself, SKIP THIS STORE. Employees are rude (if they even speak English) My last visit here I had to make an emergency stop for bleach for my mom & I came here because I was next door & it was most convienant for me. I stopped an employee to ask where Id find the bleach & he looked at me like he was going to rip my head off, for interrupting his day. He was so rude & while showing me where the bleach was, didnt say a single word to me. I looked at his name tag so I can tell the manager & warn others & his name tag read «General Manager»
Wow. That explains this store.
