I gave them a second chance and they have done a lot to improve the store since my last post. I found a few items that we use and the prices were reasonable.

Big lots is awesome. We always find organic and non gmo products for a great price. The items always change but the prices always great!

this Big Lots wasn’t as big as the store in Cocoa nor did it have a better selection in my opinion. I thought it would’ve been a lot nicer after being to the one in Cocoa. We ended up only buying some pillows…

Oh snap!!! They sell Riunite on ice here!!! My brother and I had a field day singing that old 80’s commercial when we saw the bottles all lined up next to the overpriced bottles of other wines they had. People must have thought we were insane, but it was hysterical to find that, although; I thought Riunite went out of business or something? Or maybe Big Lots is selling the originals that were bottled in the 80’s? Either way, I wouldn’t drink the stuff, it was just funny to find it there. I did get an awesome deal on a cast iron skillet though to use in case things get out of hand, and oh yeah; to cook with too.

Big Lots is a good place to go to buy a few key items: shampoo, toilet paper, detergent and cereal. They have a lot of the name brands and they offer these items at an extreme discount, so I usually pass by on my way to Target or Publix to pick up the rest of my groceries. Other than that… Big Lots is kinda a waste of time. This location is in an extremely seedy plaza off of E. Colonial Drive. Seriously, ladies don’t go alone. I was once accosted in the parking lot by some scary dude insisting that I drive over to his car, «parked right over there…» to give him a jump because his battery died. Yeah, I don’t think so. The store itself is cluttered with all kinds of odds and ends… anything from seasonal décor to furniture. The furniture is not really the greatest quality and most of it just looks downright cheap. They have some food products, but like I said, the cereal is where you’ll save the most money. Other than that, it’s pretty hit or miss on what you find. I have nothing against Big Lots. I’ve visited other locations and found a lot of useful items… but this particular location is definitely not the greatest!
