Don’t give business to these scamming thieves! I had a leaking pipe and a plumber from Ben Franklin did the leak detection. He informed the insurance company that the leak was detected 4 inches above the slab in the master bathroom. He told me that I had a leek below the slab so I asked him to put it in writing but he intentionally didn’t sign my quote because he was trying to take me over. I notified the insurance company of the discrepancy and sent them a copy of the conflicting information. Not only did the plumber lie to me but the people answering the phones as well. I spoke to a guy calling himself Dre as in Dr. Dre and Snoop Dog. Sounds like he was giving me a fake name. They did nothing but waist my time and create additional problems by making me require another leek detection. Additionally after calling back they recognized my number on the caller id and answered the phone only to quickly hang up. I had to find a different plumber because they wouldn’t answer my calls after I discovered their scam. Someone should reject their license. They don’t deserve to be in business. Their quote to fix my pipe was $ 500 but they refused to return. I got the problem fixed for less than $ 150 by an honest plumber.

Jeremy was very polite and professional and did an excellent job. This is the second job he has done for us. He stays until you are completely satisfied and no more questions.

Great Service, same day appointment. Cece was a rockstar plumber who thoroughly explained everything that needed to be done. What items needed to be taken care of right away and what items should be looked at in the future. She was professional, polite, friendly and went above and beyond when we needed to shut off the water in an unmarked condo complex. I would recommend Ben Franklin Plumbing and will use them in the future for all of my plumbing needs.

I called in for an emergency on a Saturday morning and within couple of hours we had a technician calling and letting me know that he was on his way.
Jeremy was professional, polite and friendly. More importantly, he worked really hard and diligently to repair our clogged drain line. He spent hours fighting it on a Saturday.

Called for a leak under the sink and toilet repair. First time out, fixed toliet replaced my garbage disposal. Second day still leaking– came out, cant find a leak. Third time they came out (I had pictures of the dripping water) oh its the faucet that is leaking. I dont have that part, but if you buy it, ill come back for 95.00 and install it for you. HUH??? Still leaking. Why did I need a new garbage disposal? Had to buy a new chain as well after that one broke and went down the pipe.

Turns out we did have an issue with the insulation work done in the attic last year. Many places the pipes were left exposed, hence the insulation not installed as it should have been. The 1 year inspection confirmed why we were getting so much hot water on the cold side at the first 3 gallons in the summer. Attics are pretty damn hot and if pipe is exposed, you will know it!
Well heck, I rationalized that no matter how much insulation you put around the pipes in the + –130º attic, hot water will be the result of an attic re pipe. That is still correct, but the severity of the degree has been radically reduced.
Daniel made the case for me for re doing the insulation work to bring up to the standard that can make a difference! A lot of work in quite the hellish place. I’m not surprised, he was proud enough of his work to document by photographs for me of what is now «up there».
True, this work shouldn’t have needed to be done in the first place, but again, the true value of a company is found in the ease of resolution to issues that cost them money to fix. In this case, I got a guy who wanted to see it done right and he made it happen. I appreciate Benjamin Pluming for also recognizing this problem and fixing it without any challenge or delay.
I would hope Bill recognizes the valuable work ethic and competence he has with Daniel as an employee too.
In spite of this issue, rating stays at 5 stars cause of the speed and ease to the resolution.

We called Benjamin Franklin to come out and give us an estimate for replacement of a water heater, the call was $ 59 which is not bad. The quote was $ 4684.00 for a filter and water heater, $ 2530 for a water heater with 7 yr guarantee, and $ 1550 for a plain water heater replacement, pure insanity. They wanted to charge us the $ 59 again if we did want the job done. Lowes came in at $ 800 with installation, permits, and a 9 yr digital smart water heater. save your money go to Lowes.

They recently installed a hot water heater for me and I couldn’t be more pleased by their friendly professionalism. They expertly installed my new water heater promptly and it works perfectly. I would definately be using them next time I have a plumbing isssue.

Called up with a clogged sink drain issue at a rental house. As a sometimes successful «do it yourselfer» I had been working on the drain for 3 days. Snakes, plungers, home remedies, drano. Couldn’t bust it. My tenants were reaching their wits end, and my girlfriend was sick of my hands being covered in drain cleaner and «various» other mystery substances from the drain. Called BFP, came out the same day, Lloyd even gave me some cool tips to try to clear it on my own next time instead of calling them. Didn’t mind me hanging over his shoulder to steal the secrets of the plumbing illuminati either. Will definitely call them again.
