We went here recently for a sit down dinner. The restaurant is super small and doesn’t seat very many at a time, so the wait can be very long even with a reservation. My husband and I both ordered the patty melt and root beer floats. Everything was delicious. The patty melt was exceptionally good.

Exactly what you expect from a Disney restaurant. Nice people, great food and desserts. Desserts are big and delicious. Will definitely be back.

First of all this is a table service. Which means you will need a reservation or you will have to wait. We went there without a reservation and had to wait about 20 mins to get seated. We ended up sitting at the counter and what treat it was. We got to see them make the kitchen sink. I would never get it. I think they put like 20 scoops of ice cream and all kinds of toppings. service is typical Disney, excellent and friendly. Reasonably priced food. We had the best veggie burger EVER there.

What a great lunch! We were lucky enough to get a walk in seat at the bar, have a pleasant, efficient server, yummy sandwiches(patty melt and a Reuben) and delicious desserts! Our server even made a fuss over us for our anniversary! This place is our favorite hidden gem at Disney and we love to walk around the other Epcot resorts after a great meal!

We went here specifically to attempt the kitchen sink but after seeing the menu we decided on trying a burger and chili too. Their burger was pretty basic but the chili was delicious. After stuffing ourselves our group decided it was time to try the kitchen sink… boy that thing is massive! They literally put everything in that bad boy… including all their different fruit toppings and candies… I actually think just getting a normal sundae wound have been a better choice… but we couldn’t NOT get their signature sundae =)

Excellent ice cream shop! Little hard to find but worth it. The place is in the Beach club resort and is facing the pools and you get in from the outside. They also have a togo spot to grab a cone and go!

What a fun little place! Scoring a reservation can be rough and walk ins are pretty rare. The girls at the podium out front weren’t the nicest. Chatting to eachother and turning hopeful walk up guests with a flip of their hand. If they had been it bit kinder, I think a five star rating would have be used. But they weren’t very warm to the people checking in and a bit rude to the people they were turning away, laughing at some who said they didn’t think to make a reservation. Inside was completely different. The staff was wonderful, helpful and kind. Our waiter was amazing and so helpful. The décor is adorable and the vibe was amazing. We went just for dessert and were not disappointed. We got the mickey pants sundae(you get to keep the pants! Our waiter even washed it out for us) and the ‘no way Jose’ sundae. Both were absolutely amazing!

They need to have more little places like this one around the resort! It’s always busy here and worth the wait but I recommend making reservations to guarantee a spot. There’s a nice little arcade next door to kill some time if you choose to wait though. If you’re just in the mood for a quick scoop of ice cream or coffee I believe they have a smaller entrance where you can just order to go. Not only do they have delectable desserts but I highly recommend trying out a few of their tasty sandwiches. Other than great food and cute 50’s theme, cast members are always top notch! If you go for their famous«Kitchen Sink», bring ALL the friends. That thing is a beast.

Displeased. There are no signs or indication of where this out of the way shop is, and after wandering around trying to find the place, and then waiting behind a complaining costumer for several minutes to check in, we found that the table had been given away while we were waiting behind the other customer. We ended up getting«the kitchen sink» ice cream to split as a group… And it was quite the experience. We enjoyed our time even though we were sincerely frustrated at the start.

This place is cute. It does have the look and feel of an old soda shop. The place is small so there is a wait. I recommend reservations at least several days if not weeks before. We couldn’t get reservations 2 days before for dinner so our only option was to walk up and wait. They conveniently text you when your table is ready, and this resort is beautiful with a view of the Boardwalk across. There is plenty of things to see while walking the grounds during your wait. Ok so the food is good. If your looking for a burger or sandwich, this is the spot. I had the turkey sandwich and the big hit for me was the cranberry jalepeno jam. The rest of the fam had the seafood salad sandwich, cheese burger and kids meal pasta and macaroni & cheese. The adults were happy with their orders. I tasted the macaroni & cheese(because I love macaroni & cheese) and was not impressed. Yes it was for the kids but I thought it would taste better than what it did. Now, for what brought us here in the first place! The Kitchen Sink! Bring on dessert! This thing was huge!!! And way too much for our party of 6. But it was so worth it. We had them leave off the orange slices, but other than that YUM. It’s fun, the kids were blown away.

My family and I really enjoyed this place. When we visited, we were actually staying at the boardwalk resort. I recall this place being hard to find. We had to ask two CM’s before finding it. We were lucky enough to receive the free Disney dinning plan and it was well worth it. PROS: 1. The food was really good. Especially if your into burgers. The onion rings were really good! Especially when they first came out nice and hot. 2. Atmosphere: in my opinion, I enjoyed the place being small. This is because not as many people can fit and the noise level wasn’t too high(at least when we went) now to some people, I could see it feeling a little cramped. However, it was no problem for me. 3. Service. Our server was awesome! I don’t remember his name but he really did have a personality. He was constantly checking up on us and just overall great. CONS: 1. If your not into burgers or ice cream I don’t recommend it. The place revolves for the most part around burgers and ice cream. I mean don’t get me wrong I do recall seeing salads and fruit but for the most part if you choose to dine here keep in mind it’s mostly of those foods. 2. slightly hard to find. This was our first visit to this hotel and our first stay at the Boardwalk. Once arriving at the yacht club I was a bit confused. I knew it was by the pool but I didn’t realize how huge their pool is. But after asking two CM’s we finally found it. Overall, good food and awesome ice cream sundaes. Would I go again? Yeah probably

I’ve been here a few times and can see the appeal but feel it is definitely overrated. It’s in a good spot next to the Beach Club and has the old school diner feel/ambiance but is pretty much always way too crowded to sit without a significant wait. Who wants to wait 40 minutes for ice cream? I want my ice cream now. I also think the ice cream is fine, but nothing amazing. The last two times I also felt the topping volume was weak. No excuse for that given the wait and the price.

This is the cutest ice cream shop I have ever been to! You’ll need to make a reservation in advance to eat here, but if you get select items from the menu, your allowed to eat it by the hotel pool. Moving on to the service: service is great, everything you would expect from Disney. I got the mini kitchen sink since I didn’t make a reservation, and at first was disappointed because I wanted the kitchen sink(bigger version) but I’m actually so happy I got the mini kitchen sink! The packaging of the mini kitchen sink is the cutest thing I have ever seen! The mini kitchen sink comes with brownies and a variety of ice cream flavors and desert sauces. Will definitely continue to come here when I am in Orlando.

I’ve been here three times now and each time has been better than the last! Keep in mind, it’s a small restaurant but it certainly has a lot of charm. The last time I went, my guy and I visited Disney just to enjoy walking around Disney Springs and a few of the resorts the day after Christmas. We were looking for an inexpensive place to eat on property that wasn’t going to be super crowded. We first tried Earl of Sandwich at Disney Springs, but that was a nightmare of people lined up all over the building as well as outside. That’s when we decided to try our luck at Beaches and Cream. Previously, I had only been here for the kitchen sink and a birthday sundae, but the lunch menu looked good too so we figured, why not?! Upon arrival, we were told by the hostess that we would have to wait about 30 – 40 minuted for a table. Not a huge deal since they took my phone number and were able to text me when the table was available. This is a truly great service because we were able to wander over to the pool bar to grab a drink and sit on the beach area while waiting. Our table was ready in about 30 – 35 minutes and we were promptly seated at the bar. Every time I’ve been here, I’ve always had a great waitress who has made me feel like I’m at home and this was another one of those experiences for sure! I ended up ordering a pineapple cider and the veggie burger. My guy ordered a pineapple cider and the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Both of our meals were excellent! We were pretty stuffed afterwards, but after watching a multitude of cast members concoct kitchen sinks(which is literally a large sink full of ice cream, every topping they have, and a whole can of whipped cream!) we decided to share a sundae. Again, it was delicious! Beaches and Cream is definitely one of my favorite restaurants on Disney property. Great food, service, and prices. I will definitely be back!

If you’re a fan of those food shows where they show you extreme places to eat around the country/world, you’ve probably heard of Beaches & Cream. Known for their Kitchen Sink Sundae, which comes with 8LARGE scoops of ice cream(each scoop, even if you just ordered a single scoop, is huge), every topping in the house, a banana, and a whole can of whipped cream(and you guessed it, it comes in a kitchen sink), Beaches & Cream is an adorable old-fashioned soda shop. It is cutely decorated with baby pink and baby blue-striped walls and décor. You’d almost expect Mickey and Minnie to be sitting at the counter, sharing a float. If you are there to eat, it’s very basic food like burgers, hot dogs, fries, etc. You can also sit to order one of their massive sundaes that are NOT the Kitchen Sink(they even have a mini version with I think 4 scoops of ice cream). Make sure you do a reservation ahead of time, otherwise you’ll have to probably order a scoop or so to go from their side counter. We were lucky enough to snag a table for 2 pretty early in the afternoon, around 4PM on a Saturday. We each ordered a two-scoop sundae, and I’m not sure what brand their ice cream is(I think the DW ice cream standard is Dreyer’s?), but it’s darn good after a day of walking around in the hot, humid weather. Their flavor selection is fairly limited(butter pecan, mint chip, chocolate, strawberry, coffee, vanilla, rainbow sherbet). Along with our ice cream, we also ordered a side of fries, but that never came. We asked our waiter at the end if we could take it to go, and he apologized that it never came out, and even comped the fries! Such nice service. Great spot for a quick sweet snack. Even if you just go for the décor, I think the ambiance and retro feel is totally worth it. (Also, I should mention that we’ve seen several parties of 4 – 5 attempting to finish the Kitchen Sink. Each time, the families look really defeated, and there’s still ice cream left in the sink. So if you choose to attempt this massive diabetes machine, bring at least 6 of your friends)

This place is amazing! I love this place, the onion rings were hand made for this place and are delicious. The shake, burgers, fries, all great! The veggie burger was bomb too! Classic 50s jukebox quality sounding tunes, clean, great look and feel. The uniforms are old soda jerk inspired. Less the sailor hat. We’re from Vegas and I’d honestly probably fly down just for this place. We found it on a whim walking out of Epcot… We’re greeted and sat within seconds approx 15 min before closing! Our convo started with Brian at the counter, before you know it the place closed and we were the only patrons left still eating. The staff allowed us to stay without attitude and finish. Our convo quickly shifted to the entire staff and was hysterical! I work for MGM in Vegas and we have a 4 rings of service platform for customer service… They have exceeded those 4 rings for me. We had a crappy time with our hotel, the main gate/red lion and a few Disney issues. The staff at the beaches and cream really switched the gears for us here! I’m somewhat stuck in the past, the 50s being my favorite time era and all! To the staff, thank you very much. You have salvaged the trip! The food was on point and amazing! You are a great group of people. Don’t change! I seriously felt like I was on the show happy days in Arnold’s –Your friends Dee and Lou From the Lobster Hotel

Consistency. It’s something that every restaurant tries to achieve because if you’re good at what you do and if you can add a healthy dose of consistency to the mix then in theory you should be in business for a very long time. Beaches and Cream’s menu by no means in going to be mistaken for somewhere that is James Beard Award winning but what they offer is executed to perfection every time and the service staff are all extra friendly which makes the wait here bearable. Now when I say wait, the one downside of coming here is that there usually will be a bit more of a wait then you would expect because B&C is always packed plus due to it’s small size you only see one person working the grill for the entire restaurant. While that’s nice for Disney’s bottom line it is a small PIA for those of us on the receiving end of the greasy goodness. Another quick tip is that while they do a very brisk business with take out for ice cream, if you want to sit down and eat you best be on the Disney website or app trying to make a reservation a fair bit in advance because there aren’t many seats and what reservation times they have go fast unless you want to hope for the occasional last minute oddball like a 10:10pm on a Sunday. As for the some food recommendations: We’ve had the Beaches Patty Melt, Roasted Turkey on Brioche, Ruben Sandwich, Frozen Sunshine and the No Way Jose all with great success. Of course that’s also a low bar to jump over since every beach side town has some type of place like this and nothing on the menu here is exactly rocket science. If you want to blow a mortgage payment on dinner then head to Victoria & Albert’s but if you want decently priced comfort food that is done right every time with an awesome ice cream menu to send you off to Diabetic Heaven, then Beaches & Cream is for you.

You gotta love ice cream if your gonna come here! Me and the hubby decided to get something sweet and a little something salty to tie us over before dinner later in the evening. So we decided to come here to beaches and cream. We made our reservation and were sat about 10 – 15 minutes after. We got in and ordered a chili dog with fruit to split and the«mini sink». The chili dog was your standard beef hot dog and the watermelon fruit was fresh. However what made it great was that our awesome server was kind enough to split everything in two on separate plates before bringing to the table. That was soo kind of her! Our ice cream sundae was gigantic! I almost couldn’t finish it but it had caramel, peanut butter, fudge, Oreo cookies(which were fresh, not stale) and some fudgey brownies. Lots of whip cream and some cherries on top. We really enjoyed ourselves here. The restaurant is very small, not good for groups bigger than 4 – 6 however it can probably be done if you’re willing to wait. We will definitely we going back :-)

If you get a hotel drink mug, its UNLIMITED drinks. Woo hoo baby! There is nothing like having a cool drink right outside of the famous Beach Club pool. Beaches & Cream Soda Shop is just that, it’s fashioned after a 50’s style soda shop with ice cream. Man oh man is there ice cream! They serve something called«The Kitchen Sink» its a huge sundae with 5 spoons. They dim the lights and make a fuss when you order it(Sorry, I won’t. I don’t like too many spoons in my plate if ya know what I mean) The burgers are also on the high side, $ 15 bucks is kinda steep! If your on the dining plan, you can use a snack credit for an ice cream sandwich. There is always a line, be prepared to wait. Cheers!
