I’ve been going to Nicole for years now. She’s consistent, very friendly, and works with you to make sure you get in at a convenient time. Airways satisfied.

Super cutesy salon right outside downtown. I had a trim and blowout done by Bailey. Very sweet girl! I have a lotttt of hair and it’s very long and thick so it takes someone very patient to tame my mane! Bailey gave me an amazing haircut and blowout the night before my vacation. She also was super accommodating and came in later for my appointment. My blowout made my thick heavy hair feel light and bouncy with gorgeous subtle curls at the end!

I needed my hair done last minute on a Friday. My 2 «go to» places were booked, so I decided to do a Unilocal search. Awesome Blossom came up, and they had a Unilocal discount offer too. I called and Bailey, one of the stylists, took my call. They were booked for the weekend because of Prom, but Bailey wouldn’t let me hang up until she could find a way to accommodate me. She ultimately squeezed me in, and I’m so happy she did. I’ve been in Orlando for a little over a year, and she did the best blowout that I’ve had since moving here. On top of that, her price point is excellent AND she offers a discount for new clients. The salon is family owned, and you get a nice family vibe when you’re there. I love this place, I will definitely be back, my hair looks awesome!

I made an appointment to put some life and layers back in my long hairstyle. I think the stylist did a great job and at a price point that worked for my budget. I love that they provided a discount right off the bat for first-​time customers. No need to check-​in or do other gimmicky hoops to get the discount — that’s great customer service in my book!
The salon even has an area for nail services so it’s a one-​stop shop experience for a day of pampering. I love the location and will definitely come back for maintenance cuts when I’m ready.

I came here as a walk in and got Shelby as my stylist. She is amazing. She cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. I will definitely be back soon.

Great salon. Reasonable prices. Easy parking in back. Family owned and the owners are super friendly and welcoming. Shelby is my stylist. She does a fantastic job. I started as a walk-​in client, when they were on Gatlin. I would get whoever was available at the time, and was always very satisfied. One of the stylist even drove from home to cut my hair when I didn’t schedule an appointment. Shelby was available one time, now make an appointment for my next visit before I leave. She is great with color recommendations. It’s pretty much a one stop shop. Hair, nails, massages, and even boutique items.

A few months ago I got this urge to cut all my hair off. My long, thick, red hair reached past the middle of my back, and I have always had it long. Lately, however, it was getting on my nerves. I had just moved, and my new place has hard water so my hair was really dry and frizzy. I tried a million different treatments to get it to go back to its healthy, wavy self but I think the damage was too deep. So one day I decided I wanted it gone.
I shopped around for a good salon for a good while. (I wasn’t going to let just any old hair place hack off my beloved hair.) I needed professionals. I found Awesome Blossom and made a reservation after reading some reviews.
When I went in, I was so nervous. These were my final minutes with my long hair, and I was savoring them (sounds dramatic, but I had great hair, okay.) Shelby cut my hair and, boy, she did an amazing job. I was so nervous about cutting 14+ inches off my beautiful locks, and she reassured me that i would look fabulous. Once i showed her the picture of what I sort of wanted, she had a vision. Also, she didn’t mind my mom and sister taking a thousand pictures and videos. After she cut my hair off and set it aside to send to Locks of Love, it was smooth sailing. I love my short hair. It was just what my hair needed to get healthy again, kind of like a reset button.
Since my big cut, both my mom and sister have gone back to Shelby. we wont let anyone else cut our hair!

As odd as it may seem, I’m not a big fan of going to get my hair cut. For the most part it is quite costly. I feel like I’m being charged at least $ 50 just to sit in the chair. Then an additional charge to cut and dry this mop. ugh
I met Amber and her mom at the O-​Town tanning grand opening. After a lengthy conversation my friend and I had we decided to make hair appointments. I went to Amber on a Thursday after work. She is very flexible with her schedule so my appt time was perfect for me. I have to say, meeting Amber was fate. She gave me the best hair cut and blow dry, she seems very passionate about her job. Happy girl with scissors makes for a happy client. :-)
Her rates are incredible, like almost too good to be true. Also, I didn’t feel pressured into buying any additional products. Some salons are a little pushy with their products. I am usually a sucker and buy them, then they sit on the shelf.
The salon itself wasn’t a super fancy, stuck up kind of salon. I’m not about the glitz, just want to get in, cut my hair and go.
I highly recommend Amber. My hair is thick and curlyish she did exactly what I needed.

I have had amber do my hair since i met her by chance at AVEDA salon school. I was so pleased with her talent that i followed her to her new salon. I have recommended many of my close friends and now we all see amber about once every couple months. Love it.

Since Julie is no longer working at Awesome Blossom, I’ll spare myself the hour-​plus-​long LYNX bus trip to get there. She was the only reason I made the trek out there anyway.

A co-​worker of mine knows one of the owners. She gave me one of their cards which was for a free haircut. I haven’t been happy about where I have been getting my hair cut, so I figured what the heck.
I set up an appointment for a Saturday morning first thing because I’m an early bird. Two of the stylists were waiting for the owner with the keys, so we waited outside for a few minutes. They were both very nice and telling me about the salon since they just opened.
They offer many different services, so check out their site or give them a call. I was surprised at the number of people working there and what they all did. I think I met everyone! LOL
Kryssie cut my hair. I wasn’t asking for anything too drastic. Mostly a trimming since I’ve been working on growing my bangs out for a year. She cut them to start blending into the rest of my hair better and to cut the dead ends off. She took her time drying it as well. A lot of places I’ve been to will do it very quickly.
I actually ended up going out that night and did very little styling to it before I did. I got a compliment at the bar that they liked the shape of the cut. You always know if you had a good cut by the number of compliments you get!
