This outlet American Apparel store seemed very spartan to me. Not a lot of merchandise. But if you like stretchy tights and high socks and the American Apparel style it’s not a bad place to explore. Several other clothing outlet stores nearby. American Apparel is an interesting brand with an interesting history and former owner. Their ads and the models they use have a distinctive look. I like that they make some gear in the USA. L.A. as I recall. Sleek chic for slim palesters. :)

American Apparel is always the highlight of my outlet shopping adventures. As usual, I find something I cannot live without.(and like every color option) This was probably my 4th time at this specific location and now that I’m an active Unilocaler, I can share my opinion. Never really impressed with the customer service. The cashier is always great, don’t get me wrong. But that seems to be the only person I come in contact with. I can’t count on people walking around to ask a question or even notice that I may need help with something. I don’t know, I just don’t like feeling confused or out of sorts. Also, if I want to buy something but can’t… you’re preventing me from being a happy shopper & you’re losing a sale. Love the store, itself. Not impressed with the service.

The quality of their item MOST of the time does not match their prices. Their style of clothing is very different from what I wear however certain items like their teddie thing shirt tank items are very sexy when I wear jeans. Other than that it’s an ok store.

I’ve only bought a couple of items from them, and while the styles are cool, the quality was nothing to shout about. Three stars at best. BUT: The popup ads online help support Unilocal*. Whoo Hoo! Most of the stuff they sell is made in the USA!!! Whoo Hoo!!! Oh, and the pretty girls in the ads who don’t look like the normal mannequin type models are sure easy on the eyes. Whoo Hoo! Those three points kick them up two more stars in my book.

I love American Apparel! And I’ve spent more money than I can keep track of in this store since I don’t like shopping online. Unfortunately, it is an OUTLET store. Which means that whatever you buy, you cannot return. EVER. It also means that you must be extremely careful before making a purchase. There has been many times where I came home with something and realized it had a hole in it. So shop with care and if you don’t mind shopping online use the store as a resource to find your size. Everything the outlet carries is also sold online. At the end of the day if you are not satisfied with your purchase the online store will always take it back and the outlet store will not.

Firstys? Wow, kinda surprised I’m the first to review the Orlando location of American Apparel. AA needs no description so if you’re reading this you probably want to know about the stock and pricing and locale so I will try to do that in this review. Store Size: Comparable to other average sized Am Appys around the country. Its not big. but not small either. Locale & Stock: This Am Appy is inside an outdoor generally ‘outlet’ style mall. Kewt Alt Girls working the register just like any good Am Appy. Like other stores in this mall, this AA is not technically an outlet in the 4 seasons ago ½ off everything kinda way, but much of the merchandise is discounted and is within season or a season previous. Bottom Line: Very Good Orlando Version of AA, worth the drive if that’s a concern.
