This place is a pretty good size for a liquor store and they have a wide slection. I picked up a bottle of Bacardi(the clear one) and a bottle of Smirnoff Blue Vodka. The prices seem a little more than what I would pay in New York. They do have a rewards program like most stores these days.

The beer selections at many ABCs that I’ve been to before have been abysmal, so I was surprised to see so many lesser-known beers here. I am an IPA fan, and found quite a number that I’ve never tried. Its selection isn’t something to drool over, but not bad considering its location. Their wine selection is also decent, but I found it to be unorganized; French wines were in the Italian section, etc.

ABC is a nice store and has all your wine beer and liqour needs. The staff is helpfuls when you need help and they have specials all the time. They kind of fill the space between a Total Wine and a boutique wine store.

They had the Sam Adam’s Infinium I was looking for. Can’t say that for Total Wine who sold out like a week before.

ABC is the go to place for all your alcoholic tendencies. They have everything here ranging from beer, wine, and liquor. ABC always has nice sales going on so be sure to check out what deals they have to offer you on that specific day. In addition to alcohol, ABC also offers some food that is considered party snacks, as well as certain foods that are paired well with their vast selection of wines. They also have a good amount of devilish chocolate bars to cure your sweet tooth. ABC is definitely the place to stop for all your weekend party needs.

This store may be more commercial than a family-owned version, but they do offer a wonderful selection of spirits, munchies, gift baskets and a whole lot more. They are located on a busy corner and therefore seem to be doing pretty well. And when I was there they were busy even though it was the middle of the afternoon on a Tuesday. Their success could be due to their promises and their sales. Ensuring that they«will beat all local ads… always have, always will,» patrons should be prepared to grab a cart and spend some time perusing their stock. They also have some good deals depending on what you want and when you make a visit. For example, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays all wine is 10% off and every day, mixed wine cases are 10% off as well. They do an in-store card too if you become a regular there. Aside from beer, wine and liquor they sell openers, glasses, olive oils, dip mixes, fresh cheeses and many other yummy snacks that go well with the art of drinking. Specifically, pair your favorite red wine with their Napa Valley Bistro Spaghetti Sauce at $ 6.49 a jar. Or a bag of pistachios for $ 3.99. And if chocolate is your Achilles heel, they have gourmet bars to tease you: Perugina, Lindt and Godiva were just a couple I saw. If this store was in my neighborhood I would surely make my beverage purchases here. It was like being at smaller version of Total Wine which is great if you know what you are looking for and want to pay a good price for it.

Not all ABCs are created equal. This one has a really nice wine selection, sure it’s not as good as Total Wine. But unlike TW, the wine guys that work here are actually cool. They do tastings during the week, and will help you find what you’re looking for even with really generic descriptions like ‘I’m looking for a dry white wine that doesn’t taste like lemon juice’. The fancy pants beer is usually a buck cheaper than you’d find at TW, though they don’t offer as many. I can always find Shiner Bock though and ABC is the only place that ever puts it on sale. The liquor and specialty bar food selections are quite impressive as well. It’s a one stop party shop.
