To say the staff at this store is incompetent would be an understatement. My dad and I walked into the store on a Monday evening and were the only customers in the store with 4 employees for an entire hour. After explaining that we wanted to upgrade our phones and use the deal Sprint had emailed specifically for my dad(not just a promotional email), the employees just looked at each other for almost 5 minutes(literally) until we convinced one of them to actually help us. None of the employees knew anything about upgrade eligibility or anything along those lines, the only person who did was the assistant manager(who was quite busy doing everyone’s job since he was the only person who knew anything about Sprint). After over an hour of suffering through this, we were not comfortable spending hundreds of dollars on phones that they would surely find a way to mess up. We left that store to continue running errands and stopped at the Sprint kiosk in Orland Square Mall, which we had assumed would not be as helpful as store front locations, but we figured they could not possibly be any worse than the store we just came from. It turns out, Terry(our sales person) was beyond helpful and even ended up selling us on plans that got us better devices for the exact same cost of the devices we had originally planned on getting. Overall, he saved us over $ 500 in half the time we spent at the other Sprint store, and even found us a promotion to get us better devices. He made sure we knew all of the details about what we were about to do before we did anything, we appreciated so that we didn’t find any surprises on our bill later. I highly recommend going to the Kiosk in Orland Square Mall(between Forever 21 and Aeropostale) any day before going to the Sprint store on LaGrange.

This store is AWFUL! I needed a new phone and so did my daughter. We checked in, looked around and waited for 10 minutes for the alleged top salesman at that store to «help» us. He was completely disinterested in any of my questions, had no advice to give on any phone and never once made eye contact with me. What the… Three different times he told us to just go to Best Buy to get our phones, because only my phone will be cheaper and they have a better variety, wait. what? Really? I came to a SPRINTSTORE because I am a SPRINTCUSTOMER! After leaving completely disgusted with SPRINT, we head to Best Buy in Orland. The wait was much longer but the service by FAR was better. In fact, the man that helped us in Best Buy said that that Sprint store sends all their existing Sprint customers to Best Buy because they can’t make any money off of them. But they are like flies on sh*t when a new Sprint customer arrives. I absolutely felt compelled to write this review. Shame on you Sprint!

Don’t even bother going in this sprint store. All the emplyees are worried about is talking with them selfs and joking around while they have people waiting. If you ask me that’s poor management.

While they were apologetic for my horrible service and all of my problems, they claimed they couldn’t do anything.(I found this hard to believe; they could sell me the product, but not help with the lack of service.) Their excuse was«Corporate issues = contact customer service» as they claimed it was an upgrade being done to my area.(So apparently its ok for me NOT to have a phone that works with no firm promise of when service would resume.) Hours on the phone with customer service is what prompted me to go to the store again… to see a FACE and have a conversation(without my phone dropping the call of course!). In the end, they claim I owe them $ 650 for not meeting my contract because I dropped them & went to Verizon. But really, I dropped them because THEYWEREN’T PROVIDINGSERVICE! I’m tied to a contract, but apparently they aren’t? They couldn’t provide service, and ADMITTED it. Now they are acting like they are doing me a FAVOR by waiving this cancellation fee, IF I turn in my 2 phones.(Which I paid $ 150 each for and they will not credit me for). In the end, I mailed the stupid phones because I felt like they monopolized and threatened and of course I don’t want a blemish on my credit report *which they claimed they would report me to collections if I didn’t pay their fee*. I think Sprint should be tried for criminal actions with their horrible threats. I simply don’t understand how a carrier can get away with such bad business ethics.
