Excellent selection of baked goods. Reasonable price, and super cupcakes and danish. There is much more to try and definitely plan in returning.

The prices make it like stealing. Young and old will love the selections. Custard, eclairs, lemon bars, donuts, they have it all.

I’ve tried many items here and 95% are great, especially the buttercream filled donuts, the buttercream round coffee cake, and the bismarks. The brownies(too small) and chocolate chip cookies(probably stale?)are dry and overpriced(like everything else in the place). The carrot cake cupcakes look better than they taste, the«cream cheese» frosting disappointingly not a straight up cream cheese. However, I ordered buttercream layer cakes from here and have always been thrilled with the cakes. The customer service sucks though. I know it’s early in the morning most times I’m there and maybe the employees are tired, but I always get a pissed off and annoyed attitude from every employee I’ve encountered. I drop a substantial amount of money in there, they certainly should recognize that, and be a little more friendly, or at least polite. And the numbers system blows, especially when the bulk of the customer are senior citizens who park themselves at the counter, making it near impossible to pay at the register or retrieve your bought items.

I don’t usually like to write bad reviews but I feel like I should say something. The day before Mother’s Day we picked up a bunch of items for brunch the next day. We picked up cannolis, cookies, and a coffee cake. The coffee cake was great and I have had their coffee cakes in the past and they’ve always been good. Their customer service is great no problems there. But the mini cannolis which were a dollar a piece and the cookies which are $ 11.99 a pound were tasteless and almost waxy. Everyone tried them and we all ended up spitting them out. They all had to go in the garbage because they were gross. Stick to the coffee cakes but avoid the cookies and cannoli!

I work over at Orland Township around the corner from this place and I gotta say everything I have had from there is great. Our staff orders items from here for senior luncheons and we also receive donations from here to distribute to our food pantry recipients. Personally, I have ordered and picked up a cake from here for my cousins birthday party and it was delicious. Would seriously recommend people to stop in here.

Atomic cake paczki, that is all that needs to be said. Where have you been all my life. Growing up on the south side of Chicago Paczki’s are a rite of passage and I thought I have tried them all. My wife went in there a got a couple of things to try. She could not believe what she saw. For those not familiar with the ‘Atomic’ concept it is typically layers with strawberry, banana, and fudge. So they took all of that and put it in a paczki. It is soooooo wrong and you should probably not eat more then one a week because it is pretty unhealthy for sure, but we don’t go to a bakery to eat healthy right. okay enough with paczki for now. We also tried there bacon buns(they were huge, like the size of a hamburger bun) and they were quiet delicious as well. We also tried the cupcakes and they were slightly clumsy but they were still pretty good. Can’t wait to go back and try some more sugar goodness.

We’ve gotten many bakery items from here of the years and have enjoyed them. Our favorite thing from here of course is when it’s Paczki season. They’re probably the best in the area. They are priced are okay for the most part but can be a little high depending on what you’re getting. Overall, they run a nice high volume bakery and have nice quality bakery items.

I did not need to know this place was a short drive from my brother’s new house. Though located on the death trap that is La Grange Road, I would risk accident to have a cookie or donut from this place. We purchased both, on hallow’s eve, and were not disappointed. The place is always packed, and you have to be ready to scream your order over the counter(the woman told us to!). One small thing is that you have to be somewhat tall to see over the counter of cakes and pastries back to the donut baskets. It didn’t stop us, though I was elbowed by a woman looking at a zombie brain cake. Reasonably priced, and seemingly always stocked. Go.

This is my families favorite bakery. We drive a galf hour for the goodies here. I am never dissapointed. They are not stingy with fillings in the donuts, the cookies are yummy and cakes are delicious. The prices are what I expect to pay at a small business. Try this bakery. They will not dissapoint.

Recently I’d purchased a bakery item from Freshline Foods in Oak Lawn and noticed the Orland Bakery label. I decided to shop at the bakery to try and find the same Danish I’d had but could no longer find at Freshline. Not only were the women who worked there totally clueless to what I was looking for, one of them almost accidentally sold me sugar free blueberry pound cake instead of tea bread. I’ll NEVER shop there again.

Great place to grab fresh bakery items. I love their coffee cake and even got my son’s birthday cake made from here. It was a bit too sweet for my taste, but everyone else seemed to enjoy it. My only issue is that the place can be really packed at times, especially on weekends when most senior citizens seem to visit the bakery. Things get chaotic and it takes a while to get your order. But as far as the quality of bakery items is concerned, I’m happy with it.

I ordered my baby shower cake from here and I cannot tell you how happy I was! It looked EXACTLY like the picture i showed them and tasted even better. I had a three tier cake: yellow cake with fresh strawberries, red velvet and white cake with fresh pineapple(fav). Nora was extremely helpful and kind throughout the whole process. I will be ordering my daughters future cakes from here for sure! Couldn’t be happier.

I’ve gotta be honest: I’m a little conflicted here. First & foremost, I can only speak of the Stanley Cup cookies since that’s the only OPB product my family has purchased. That being said… Okay, aesthetically speaking? The Stanley Cup cookies are a work of freaking ART. Not even kidding… I’ve never seen cookies so beautifully decorated. Each & every one was perfect on the two separate occasions we hit up OPB for Cup cookies. Just beautiful! Almost 3D in design. I mean… wow. Service was lovely as well – prompt & polite. Unfortunately, that’s where my ultra-glowing review trails off. Two strikes against the cookies themselves: 1. they were almost cloyingly sweet. Like… really, really sweet. 2. And in addition to that, they were weirdly sticky. Now, before you get on me for the stickiness, I need to clarify this. The first time we bought them, my five year old exclaimed«mama, these are so sticky!». So I put the extras in the fridge thinking maybe they needed to firm up? The cookie itself was unchanged by the fridge – it tasted the same. But the stickiness was only slightly less apparent. Very slightly less. Okay, then? So I chalked it up to a freak occurrence. But our second visit brought the same stickiness. I even kept this batch in the fridge from the word go, but when I went to put one in a ziplock? It stuck to the bag like crazy. So sticky and super sweet was two strikes against the Cup cookies. :( If we swing back to OPB, I’ll be sure to check out something else and update my review accordingly, but I’m sad to say Cup cookies aren’t anywhere in my near(or distant) future again, unfortunately.

The OP Bakery has my heart. I’ve only tried their paczkis and they are are amazing! Since it’s a seasonal item(only sold during Lent), it’s justifiable to get one regularly. ;) I also got to give a shout-out to the gals behind the counter because the service is ALWAYS stellar! I’m looking forward to trying their other baked goods.

If I become a Motherf*ucking diabetic it’s all Orland Park bakery’s fault! Not even kidding! I drove past this place quite a few times, and wondered what was inside the 4 walls of this bakery. Well I led todays carpool into the city, and since it was my day to drive the crew to work I decided to make the stop. It was busy as all get out inside! This was the day before Valentine’s Day so everyone was getting their sweets. I liked seeing it busy. I love to frequent small businesses, and see them do well so this was awesome to see! And hey all that business must’ve meant they have something good on those shelves! The Orland Park bakery even had lots of product which was cool! I hate walking into a bakery to all empty shelves! They were prepared for war lol! Let’s go! I noticed that a number system was being used so I went on the hunt to find the number machine. I grabbed number 83, and I just heard 74 be called. Good I thought! That gives me enough time to Look around. I really thought my head was going to explode there was so much to Look at. They handled the crowds way fast. My number got called quickly! I told myself when I walked in was just going to get a cookie. That went out the door as soon as the gurl at the counter said«Can I help you?» I ordered from each counter section, and also a 2lb box of cookies. I picked out 4 flavors of mini cakes– a white iced one with orange inside, a chocolate one with raspberry inside, and a cute heart one with a strawberry filling I’m guessing. I also got bigger iced heart cookies, and some Oreo cupcakes. I busted open the box of cookies while driving home. I have 0% self control when it comes to sweets. My fatass was clutching that box and munching while I drove. #MultiTask I wasn’t expecting much as far as the cookies went. I see these kinds of cookies at random bakeries everywhere and they are usually hit or miss as far as taste goes. I took a bite and realized that I just got treated! #OhHellNo These cookies were pretty damn good I must say! Above average! There was also a peanut brittle looking cookie in the mix that I loved! I picked those cookies out of the mix lol! Very nice flavor to these cookies. I really liked the chocolate chip ones as well. The cakes– the Orange one was my fav! The chocolate was good, and so was the heart shaped one. I didn’t get to the cupcakes because I gave them away as well as the larger heart cookies. I was NOTABOUTTOEATALLOFTHAT! I would like to be able to fit into my jeans in the spring ain’t being 500 lbs just ain’t in the cards for me hunty. I will definitely be back to the Orland park bakery! I want to try more of what they have to offer. I just need to put my gym membership to the ultimate test lol! That’s all folks!

Orland Park Bakery never disappoints!!! My family has been using Orland Park Bakery for years and it’s always delicious! My favorite are the sugar cookies and their chocolate cake with the custard filling. The employees are always very nice and helpful. It’s usually always busy, but that just goes to show you how many people love Orland Park Bakery!!!
