The food was fresh and delicious, the atmosphere bright, and the service speedy and cheerful. A wonderful place to get ethnic food in an area with little culinary diversity.

Joy of Thai remains as good as ever! Have seen some reviewers here taking issue with the prices, but so far, I’ve gotten very generous helpins’ of everything I’ve ordered, so your dollar will go a long way here. Gotta love the staff, they’re so positive and exude good vibes, it’s like dining at an old friend’s.

In a small quaint resteraunt tucked away in a plaza lies Joy of Thai, one of the best Thai resteraunts in the area, I always order there tum yum soup one of my favorites and there pad Thai and curries are also good. Service is good and resteraunt is clean.

Pleasant place and great food! However, very pricey with small servings. Their combo fried rice is over $ 16 and the small«to go» container is not even stuffed. PF Chang charges the same price for the fried rice but their serving is bigger than them. Something is wrong here… Hoping the owner realize that and make a positive change.

Best comment that I can give is fresh, but too pricey for such small portions! The pepper steak was chips of tough over cooked steak and the basil fried rice with shrimp was a lot of rice very little Thai basil and 6 shrimp for $ 15…will not be back!

First time here and already love this place. Had chicken pad thai, medium spice. Would very easily order that again but am looking forward to trying many more things here. My server was super friendly and spot on. Will definitely come back and am bringing friends.

The food at this place has deteriorated. There was a long wait time for order to be taken and for food to come. My panang and and red curries were watery. The portions were so small. Noodles were dry. I left the place still hungry!

This was a surprisingly good Thai restaurant. Was not expecting much. Our group had a lot of different things and shared: pepper steak, basil chicken, pineapple chicken. Everything was really good. The edamame was a nice appetizer choice. The kids had the pineapple fried rice and really liked it even though they can be picky if they don’t know the style of food well. But the pineapple fried rice was a real winner. Will definitely be back.

I was here 3 times this week because the food was so good !!! New items I’ve tried are basil fried rice, panang curry and green curry. Everything taste authentic and delicious !!! Great portions too! The staff are so friendly and nice, I noticed that they don’t let anyone wait too long, either for pickup order or dine in customers, they make sure to do their best to be efficient ! No complains at all, this place is awesome !!!

I was looking for something unique for take out one evening and given Joy of Thai’s reviews, it was a must try. I looked over the somewhat small(but diverse) menu and called in my order. The inside of the place is pretty small, but very clean and organized on the inside. My order was almost ready when I got there, but in the meantime I couldn’t help but notice the open kitchen, and what appeared to be a family running it. Awesome! The cashier and order taker were very nice and I had no communication issues that are sometimes commonplace when ordering Asian cuisine. I got home and tried my Gui Chai(chive dumplings) and garlic pepper chicken. They were both delicious! The Gui Chai were unique, I had never had this type of dumpling. It was pretty much just fresh chive leaves inside a pan-fried doughy dumpling. The chicken dish was very tasty, noticeable high quality meat, fresh veggies, and a sauce that had real flavor and didn’t just taste like sweet and sour. The hot sauce they give on the side is also good, but beware, it’s very spicy. The only minor issue I had was that my meal was fairly expensive, about $ 15. You get what you pay for though, which in this case was fresh, tasty, quality Thai food. Coming back for sure!

The best Thai food in town. No contest. All dishes are made with fresh vegetables. The quality is outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant. My favorites… Tom yum soup, beef salad, JD noodle, and garlic pepper chicken.

The cucumber salad is tasty, crisp and refreshing. I also had the Penang Curry(chicken) which was delicious! Very friendly service.

Best in the area. Moved here from an area where Thai was abundant, now, not so much. This place is about 15 min from home, and I am so happy it is here. Our panang curry was excellent-finally the right consistency and my tom kha was spot on. BYOB to boot! Will be back!

Best Thai food I’ve ever had. Food — The green catfish curry was the perfect spicy point, full of flavor but not painful. The catfish was fried beautifully and swimming with eggplant, carrots, peppers, and other lovelies. Spring rolls were delightful, though I usually prefer them with peanut sauce as opposed to the plum syrup we had. Décor — Subtle but appropriate, with a good music selection. Very clean and well lit. Great service. Overall worth going out of the way. Would love to visit again.

Really, really great food! Super high prices though. And it seemed like everything was nickel and dimed. We asked for a veggie substitution on one of our dishes(not an addition, just a sub for a different veggie) and extra sauce and were told both would be $ 2 charges. Kind of crazy in my opinion. But the food was great and made exactly as requested(even though we had to pay for those changes). Overall, we will order from here again, but make thriftier choices knowing what we know now.

We stopped by this restaurant on a 4th of July weekend since the two other ones were closed due to the holiday. Wasn’t disappointed at all. The service was great as well as the food. Every time I go to a Thai restaurant, I had the habit of ordering the Tom Yum soup since it’s one of my favs. The one from here tasted the best out of all the other Tom Yums I tried elsewhere. The soup had the perfect blend of spiciness and sourness that suited my taste. However, my only suggestion is that they added more vegetables. We also order Thai ice tea and coffee which tasted wonderfully sweet. Then we ordered the entrée with glass noodles(sorry couldn’t remember the name) which was very flavorful. The décor is cute and fascinating to look at. There are cushions by the window that you could sit on. You could also see their kitchen pass the cashiers.

Ordered take out for lunch today and it was BOMB! I will say that the dishes are actually a little sweeter than what is described on the menu. For instance, the yellow curry was suppose to be mildly spicy– but had a sweeter tang to it. The only item that I thought was true to the description was the pepper steak– and it was delicious! Also, the crab rangoon is so yummy but they are so small(like bite-size) — so you may need to order multiple orders of it.
