Got-Junk Chicago & Suburbs

As a newly reformed ex-​hoarder, I recently took on the task of de-​cluttering my house and garage of almost a decade’s worth of useless crap. Combined with having to get rid of a pile of yard waste the size of a mini-​van, the task became a daunting one in no time flat.
I looked into renting a dumpster from various companies, and while that might have been a little cheaper, I would have had to jump through hoops with time restrictions and what they would have considered «acceptable» junk. Plus I would have had to schlep all that junk and/​or yard waste into the dumpster myself — something I was NOT looking forward to having to do.
My 4^th call of inquiry was to 1−800-GOT-JUNK, but it was my last. From first phone call to the very end, this company rocked. They charge a flat fee based on load and there are no surprises. And when they say they take it all and they do it all, they ain’t lyin’.
Matt and Cory showed up at my house with their bright blue truck and in two short hours, they removed my junk AND yard waste smoothly and efficiently. Cory had forgotten his gloves but that didn’t stop him from tackling everything — even my rose bush prunings with their monster thorns. They were very polite and friendly and even helped offset my embarrassment over the level and quality of junk by repeatedly reassuring me that they had seen much, much worse (I really needed that, lol).
They crammed the innards of that bright blue truck to the brim and drove off with my junk, leaving me smiling from ear to ear and feeling that the $ 550 bill was the best money I had ever spent. My house is de-​cluttered, my garage is empty, and my yard is clean.
Since I am a newly reformed ex-​hoarder, I can’t say that I’ll be needing them or using them again. I hope I don’t need to. But if YOU do, do not hesitate to call them. You won’t regret it!
