Frank at G & G optical has been making my glasses for 25 years. Frank made all the prescription safety glasses for the company where I used to work. Then I started having him make all my glasses. He is able to pick out the most flattering glasses for my face. He has a wide selection of frames from which to chose. The styles are always current. I was the first person I knew of to have crystals on my eye glass frames. After I got crystals all the women I worked with got them. But Frank had the style first. When I wanted big Jackie O. sunglasses I got them from Frank. I bought a beautiful pair of Gucci frames from Frank. I just picked up my new glasses today. They have Caviar frames. Frank only charged me $ 80 for the frames because they had been discontinued. When Frank makes my glasses they are always correctly made. I have never had to go back because the lenses were incorrectly made. Frank can also make glasses for sports. I can highly recommend G & G optical. It is hidden away in a warehouse mall behind Traverso’s restaurant. Don’t be shy. Just walk right in. Frank will take great care of you.

I went in for a FREE tightening of my glasses at G and G Optical in Orland Park since they’ve been falling off my face for a while. It only took a couple minutes, and I was impressed. A few minutes after I left, I realized they had warped the finish of one of my lenses, and also scratched it. After I went back and tried to complain, they told me they didn’t do it. After explaining to them that I wear these glasses every day, have had them for a year, and should have noticed the defect by now, they then told me that LensCrafters (where I got them from LAST JUNE) was at fault, and I would have to address the situation there. They absolutely refused to accept responsibility, and I am now stuck paying over $ 400 for a new pair of glasses. I am beyond livid right now. If you want your glasses ruined for FREE, then I absolutely suggest this place.
