Five Guys Burgers and Fries

This location is always dirty. Last time I was there, the guy behind the counter checked his phone while wearing his food preparation gloves.

They over salt the fries to give you a heart attack. Too much salt.

This location delivers a top notch 5 Guys meal. The burger patty and the FFries cooked to perfection. FF portion generous as I have come to expect from 5 Guys. Store clean and bathroom well maintained. This location hitting on all cylinders.

Most underwhelming burger I’ve ever eaten. Fries were great, but my burger had absolutely zero flavor (it didn’t taste bad — it just didn’t have any taste). They did a nice job of cooking the meat, but I’ve eaten better tasting patties from the freezer section. Also, the prices are way too high for the product they’re serving. Staff was really friendly and fries portion was huge, at least.

This is the best burger I have had! Also has amazing fries. What I like is a double cheese burger with a medium fry and a drink it is awesome! I get this every Friday

There are really few restaurants you can go to these days where the people working there actually seem to enjoy their jobs. The staff here was friendly and actually engaged. The food is a little expensive, but the burger was really good and they were generous with the fries. (Also, they actually had malt vinegar out with the ketchup! Yes!)

Greasy piece of heaven. May be a little over in price but definetly worth it every once in a while! With fries on the side a small is more than extra with a double patty! I always get my drink filled up with fanta Peach. If you call in know that they make their fries when you get their and you wait 3 minutes but if you don’t care about them being super hot just tell them on the phone you want them to start with it now. That’s it have fun

Burgers are good, but nothing special for the price. I think it’s definitely overpriced and overrated. I don’t like the regular fries, but I do like the cajun fries. Will likely be back, but certainly wouldn’t go out of my way.

So the burgers here are typical of any five guys burgers. However the staff is fantastic! Shawn the general manager goes above and beyond to help anybody pouring the ketchup and he sees you trying to carry 3 cups of ketchup, he will instantly grab a paper bag for you. When going to a chain such as this, the product is typically the same across the country. It is always the staff that separates the good stores from the poor stores. The stores staff out shines the rest

I got the little bacon cheeseburger with BBQ sauce. It was good, hot and got it in a decent amount of time. This is one of the more spacious Five Guys and very clean!

The food is fresh and tasty. The portions are large – especially for the fries. I order the small fries and there’s plenty there for one person. The prices are high – I paid just over $ 12 for a hot dog, fries and soft drink. But, it’s worth it once in a while given the quality of the product.
Waiting times can be long as the food is cooked to order. Peanuts are on hand for free – which I usually snack on while waiting for my order.

Ordered a bacon Cheeseburger. Little fry and drink. 15 $ later I received my food. Fries piled In bag made burger hard to retrieve. Ones my hands we’re on it. The whole burger fell out of the aluminum foil and dissaranged itself at the bottom of my bag. After carefully picking all toppings out of bag I rearranging burger. I come to find out it wasn’t a bacon cheeseburger at all. No Bacon. I paid the extra money for bacon. I let the employee know and her response was oh did u want me to heat up some bacon and give it to u on the side. Took a few minutes for other employee to come over. And he was very kind offered to refund money or make a new one. I was in a rush running errands needed a quick bite to eat. So I said no thanks but he did offer. Only good thing I can say about this visit… never again. Overpriced…

Greasy burger joint but delicious. You will have to work out for a week to burn this stuff off but go and enjoy.

I’ve eaten at a lot of burger joints in my time, and I’ve got to say FiveGuys is one of my favorite spots. They have a copious amount of toppings to choose from, and the patties are fresh and cooked to order. Oh and if there’s two in your party go ahead and split a small fry because they hook it up. Would have got 5 stars but the wait is a little long. But all in all this location is always on point and gets it right. Always hits the spot for a great handmade burger.

The burgers and fries hear are as good as any other Five Guys. If you enjoy the chains food, you will enjoy your meal here. This place was very clean and tidy.
The staff was friendly enough but it just seemed that they really lacked the energy that I typically see from a Five Guys staff

We went in to Five Guys in Orland Park, Il for a quick lunch. We planned on dining in. Upon arrival, we noticed that it was fairly busy and the music was blaring in the parking lot. We went inside to check it out, and the music was even louder. We waited in line then ordered our food. Surprisingly the food was priced higher than most medium-​high quality restaurants we go to. It was over $ 12 for me, I got a double cheeseburger with bacon, small drink and SPLIT a fry with my coworker. Her meal was $ 11, cheeseburger, small drink and split fries. We decided to dine out after we noticed the seating arrangements and music. The food took around 10 minutes to cook and we were on our way. The cheeseburgers were alright, but lacked flavor. The French fries were soggy and the entire bag was soaked with grease afterwards.
If you’re expecting something special or affordable, go elsewhere. This is one of those chain restaurants that is overpriced and overrated.

The burgers and fries are very good but the prices are a bit expensive. The price that you pay for a burger, should include the fries. You will do better taking kids to another burger place in the area because they waste food. This food is too expensive to waste. I would love to visit this place more, but my homemade burgers are very good and for that price I can include fries, drinks, and plenty of ground beef for another day.

My husband picked up a couple of burgers and fries for us. Big burgers! We shared a regular fry because it was a good sized portion. I had a bacon burger and it was a bit greasy but good charbroiled flavor. The fries were delicious with potato skins on them. I would most likely go back but it was a bit pricey.

Seriously though… for what it is — A burger joint — it’s way overpriced.
Yes, yes, it’s a good burger, the fries are great and they ALWAYS give you way more than the container can hold — they practically fill your bag up half way with em. But, I do NOT believe in paying over $ 10 for a Double Cheeseburger and Fries. — NO drink…
Unlike the first review, I think the seating is fine, might have been a little over-​dramatic with the «like something you sat in in 2^nd grade» part. Tables are well spaced and placed, the hi-​tops are cool, though most folks do sit at the regular tables.
The food is ok, it really is, but the overpricing just kills me. I can see paying $ 10 or so bucks for a burger & fries at a steakhouse, but not at a quick take out place. There are burger places nearby just as tasty and a few bucks cheaper, fries and a drink included.
Coke machine — I have no problems with it, it’s not hard to use and mixing flavors is always fun. I’ve been seeing the «hi-​tech» machines a lot more recently.

Customer service was standard, get in, order, go eat.
Oh… there’s an app for that too BTW. Order online from work or on the way there, it can be ready when you get there. Not to bad, though I’d rather just order there to make sure it’s not sitting around too long.
I’ll visit this burger place from time to time, but damn…
$ 10+ it’s too much for a burger and fries — no drink.

I’ve been in the midwest for almost 4 years now, and I’ve only recently tried a Five Guys burger. It was pretty good. I ordered the little (but not so little!) bacon cheeseburger with everything and jalapenos. As the cashier explained it, the little burgers have one patty and the regular burgers have two. One is usually enough to satisfy me. My burger came out good and spicy, just the way I liked it. If the buns were better, I’d totally add another star, but the bread was just okay. The fries were pretty good too, and I like the coke machine that they have. My friend ordered a lime coke; I wasn’t feeling that adventurous and ordered a cherry coke. All in all, a good fast-​food burger joint.
By the way, perhaps someone can answer this for me: What is the malt vinegar used for??? I’ve never seen this at any other fast food restaurants.
