Eko Salon & Spa

I have been going to Eko Salon since it has opened and I love the organic products that they use! The salon is impeccably clean and the décor is relaxing and friendly. The service I get there is always excellent, any cut and style I ask for is even better then I imagined. All the staff is very friendly and helpful with what I am looking for. Besides the products they use when I am there I also always purchase the organic products and love what they do for my hair!
Prices are very reasonable, staff does a great job and the products are great!

I’ve been going to Eko Salon for about 6 months now. I get color and highlights, and am very pleased with their services. I’m also impressed with the skill of my stylist, Karen. She is a very talented and knowledgeable colorist. What I like most about Eko Salon, and the reason I began going here, is that all of their products are organic. They use Organic Color Systems dye which is 100% organic and Aveda dye which is 96% organic. They also sell beauty products from each of those lines. The owner is very conscious of the products being natural and organic. I also like the attention I receive, because if I want to change colors my stylist will work with me to determine the best color for me and she will show me swatches so I can explain what I want. I highly recommend this salon!

After my deep conditioning treatment experience here during a recent Unilocal Elite event, I wanted to return to get a more drastic change in my hair style by chopping off four inches, thinning out my thickness and slicing in side bangs. I was happy that the whole ordeal, in and out, was just under an hour.
For a shampoo/​haircut and blowout/​style, I got just the right amount of time for the right price.

+Clean and calm ambiance — Floor to ceiling windows let in a lot of light and the sink chairs were ultra comfy. All garbage cans are clearly labeled for hair, paper, etc. which made the business seem well-​maintained.
+Treats for the tresses — They use all-​natural Aveda products, which I swear by.
Minor gripe —
–Unstable chairs for hair cutting — These were not weighted or bolted down so whenever I leaned forward, I would almost face-​plant into the mirror.
I would definitely return if I were to stay in the area!

I needed to get my hair did so I decided to go to Eko Salon. I loved it! Their set up is fantastic; clean, open and the vibe is very zen like. I was offered something to drink and felt very welcome the whole time, therefore making me feel calm the whole time I was there. The location is fairly easy to get to, from where I live it took me about 35 minutes. Doesn’t matter though, I love what Dana did with my hair and the products that were used, so I’ll make the drive again.
Dana took the time to explain the products, to show me different hair colors from the Aveda line and the organic line, and helped me make the right choice for my tresses. I opted for the organic color system for two reasons:
1. It doesn’t damage your hair and lets it keep it’s nutrients since there are no harsh chemicals. This means that pregnant women are able to safely color their hair.
2. There is no ammonia smell, just a delicious one that doesn’t knock you out. :) Seriously.
I must say that even though there is no ammonia or harsh chemicals in it, the color covered very well. The best part about the organic color was that my scalp was NOT burning and I didn’t feel like itching it while the color was seeping in, THAT has never happened before.
The price was definitely right for what I got done and right now, they’re having 20% off your first visit. I would recommend checking them out because after my first experience there, I’m not sure if I can go back to regular coloring. Plus, it helps that they have a very friendly staff. Thanks Eko!
