Honestly, you kind of know why you’re in for when you go to Panda Express. You sign up for the mediocre and non authentic Chinese food. That being said, this was the absolute worst Panda Express I’ve ever been to. I went here because it was the only thing open, but it was absolutely terrible. And I’ve had Panda Express before that wasn’t great, but was at least edible. When I walked inside the floors were sticky. I ordered a fried rice bowl with orange chicken and a chow mien bowl with Kung Pao chicken. When they were dishing it up, they just put orange chicken on both. I accepted it and went home. I have never had food that tasted less fresh. Ever. The chicken was absolutely INEDIBLE and the fried rice had vegetables that weren’t fully cooked. Even for Panda Express, this was disgusting. If you’re hungry and this Panda Express is the only thing open, it might be better to starve. You’ve been warned.

I’m not looking for gourmet, 5 star Chinese when I come to Panda, I know what to expect. However, this one was just not good. The orange chicken and Beijing beef had an off flavor to it and just tasted old. The noodles were greasier than usual, and the place was somewhat dirty. I won’t be coming back to this particular location.

Not a great experience today at this Panda Express location. First off I was in line for almost 20 minutes with only two people in front of me. One lady had a large order but the employees were extremely slow at getting it all filled. Finally they let me step around her to check out. When I went to sit down I realized that every table in the restaurant was dirty. The trashcan is also completely overflowing out of both trash cans.

Funny how things change over time. We ate at this Panda on a Saturday afternoon around 4PM. Wife loves this location… or should I say loved this location. The food was subpar at best. Very bland and flavorless. The chow mein noodles were all chopped up into short pieces. It was bland, but had a sweet taste to it. The Orange chicken had very little sauce and tasted odd. The green bean chicken had no sauce to it. I was like eating steamed flavorless green beans with rubbery chicken pieces. My wife asked the woman at the register if they’d changed something in the recipes. The woman told her it all depended on who was cooking in the kitchen! What? They all have the same recipes don’t they? Can’t the cook read? Sorry, but I’ll just go to the Panda in the Provo Center Mall until this place gets its act together.

An employee by the name of Corey was working the counter when I came in. She was very short and rude with everyone. It wasn’t busy, maybe 3 groups of customers and I was the only one ordering. A child came to the counter saying«Excuse me?» She responded with a short annoyed«What?» He asked for a fork(which weren’t stocked at the front like they normally are). He seemed off put by her harsh tone. She messed up my order and ignored me when I asked for additional sides. I didn’t bother arguing and decided to just leave. Don’t think I’ll come back which is a shame because Panda is a favorite of mine.

Orange chicken is the best but this one had a great taste didn’t look like it was really fresh but still had a good taste. Fried rice was good also. I got the meal at 915 at night, wish it was fresh.

Wanted to order brown rice with grilled chicken. They did not have it, said it would be 20 min. The restaurant was completely empty by the way. So decided to order something else. The mixed veggies I order had a funky smell and taste and the beef was not that much better. Won’t be coming back. This review is for the provo panda express by bulldog Blvd.

Most panda expresses are hit or miss. You either get good fresh food or crapy old food. 75% of the time this orem location serves fresh tasting food… it’s still not as good as other places but it’s very convenient.

Panda express is consistently one of my favorites dining experiences. I come here frequently and they are very accommodating and usually fresh. Panda has had my business and will keep it due to the consistency and reliability of my lunch.

Good food & good service. I’ve eaten enough Panda where I can say that this didn’t taste below par to the average Panda Express. Everything I had was freshly made and tasted good. They now offer steamed veggies and brown rice as an side option instead of white rice, fried rice, or chow mein. The steamed veggies had a ginger flavor to it and slightly al dente… VERYYUMMY. There were two issues I had with this location: 1) Some of the items I wanted were out and I had to wait 2) Mis-communication with the cook had me wait a longer for my food The manager(I think he was), Cameron, noticed that I hadn’t gotten my food, but the others in my group had been eating for several minutes. He found out that there had been a mis-communication with the cook and came over to my table to explain it would be a few more minutes before one of my entrees was ready. He offered me a free side to compensate for the long wait. I appreciate when someone makes a mistake they tell me and remedy it, rather than do nothing and show me that they don’t care about me being a customer. Everyone makes mistakes, it’s how they respond that matters. 5 stars on freshness 5 stars on service The air conditioning seemed to be working on 9⁄23 when I was there.

Good service. Food quality was below par comparative to the average Panda Express. The air conditioning has been broken for a week they said.

It’s a deep fried paradise smothered in sugary sauce. It’s edible of course but it’s fast food and its pricey considering it’s a Chinese KFC. Meh!

Let’s set the visual: It’s Friday night. You know that the Panda Express in Provo is going to be filled with couples wanting to kick off their cheap date with some cheap Chinese food and those first daters who awkwardly search for topics of conversation. I want to get some Chinese food but don’t want to order take out(even though it’s way better than Panda) because I’m guaranteed to run into an ex on a date as I look like crap just wanting to spend a Friday night alone in my apartment stuffing my face with kung pao chicken. I decide to drive up to the Panda Express on State St. in Orem just so I can go through the drive thru. I get lazy and decide to head to the closer Panda Express that unfortunately doesn’t have a drive through(can you believe there are three Pandas within a 10 mile radius?). But I’m glad I came to this location because apparently I’m not the only single person to resort to this place on a Friday night. I walk in to see a bunch of people in line who have come to Panda Express solo. Hooray. I’m not the only one. The food — decent. The portions were a little skimpy, but the content was pretty good. I was just disappointed when I got home to find that I wasn’t given a fortune cookie… the best part! I guess for my dessert I’ll have to consume that Reese’s Fast Break I’ve been saving for just such an emergency. Single people who don’t want to surface onto the dating scene and eat their Chinese should be aware of this Panda.
