The food is pretty good although the wait time for a table, to order, and to receive your order is ridiculously long. Most servers come by once to refill your drink but are really never around if you have a question. A lot of the seating isn’t very private and the noise levels can be quite irritating at times. The Bloomin Onion is ALWAYS undercooked or not cooked at all past frying MOST of the batter. Most of all you pay a lot for what you get. Worth it or not is really up in the air but every time my wife and I have come we have left disappointed.

Well the Bloomin onion is always good, that’s why their known for it. I’ve been here plenty of times before and always leave unsatisfied and feeling ripped off. It’s a steakhouse, so I’ve gotten steak, but it’s nothing special. I tried the pork tenderloins and they were just dry and not worth the price. I decided I wouldn’t go there again. I got a gift card there for my birthday so I decided I’d give it another shot. They have a new building in Orem, and also a new menu. I got the bloomin onion and liked it. That was all though, for main course I got a grass fed beef burger, and it wasn’t great. I’d rather get a delicious burger from Five Guys for half the price, the fries seemed like they were previously frozen and not very crispy. Overall, I won’t be going to outback again, even with a gift card, I still feel ripped off.

Shrimp that never arrived, salad covered with sugared dressing when requested on the side, salmon on a plate with no vegies, lemon, parsely, anything??? Hello! Has anyone at this restaurant ever had dinner out elsewhere before? Fire the chef! Won’t be back even if dinner was offered free!

A nice new updated location. It’s clean and had lots of big screen tvs playing sports. The food was pretty good; not quite as good as Outback was several years ago. Our waiter wasn’t super friendly but he did make sure that we had everything we needed several times during our dinning.

NOTWORTHIT. It is Outback but what do you expect? It’s one of those chain steak restaurants where the wait to be seated and get your food is extremely obscene, food quality is ‘ok’. We do not come here often because for that reasons. With chain restaurants it’s hardly you will get the best quality of service and is it even worth the time? We got in there and the wait was 65 minutes, at least that’s what we were told. So we got our name in the list at 6:50pm and got seated at 8:24pm, so go figure. Service — I want to talk about two things here that were big part of the ‘service’ department in my experience. First, the people at the front desk getting names, handing that buzzer thingy or your number and the actual server/waitress we had. Front desk lady getting names: She has short maybe over the shoulder dark brown straight hair, petite lady. I wished I got her name but I didn’t. This lady is flat out RUDE. Why? Everyone there was at least waiting for an hour, so when the party gets to be called for their turn to be seated you should expect different reactions. This man with a party of 4 got called and he was just so happy and screaming, it was a decent and not trashy scream and he even apologized for being so happy that way. I almost clapped for him because I can feel the triumph of being able to eat and sit finally after more than an hour. This are older couples maybe in their 50s. And you know what that petite lady with short dark brown hair did? She looked at the other employee that has long curly hair who assists people to their table a look that is just rude reacting on the man’s cheering for being able to sit — finally. This petite lady was so rude and doesn’t even say anything to the people like other curly long hair lady-who actually apologizes for the wait and saying she appreciates it. Our server Jubi: Our server her name was«Jubi» on her tag or Janelle I believe is what shows in the receipt was extremely nice. I like her because she is NOT the typical overly jolly people that talk nonsense asking you too many nonsensical questions that do not matter in life. She is quiet and only talks real but very nice and helpful. I like that better because they are just sincere for me. Overall, am I going back here-definitely NOT unless my husband crave their steak again. The people at front desk if you think about it, they kind of represent the place. They give the FIRSTIMPRESSION since they are the first people you deal with, spend time with if the wait is long so they should be at least well mannered enough. I’m sure she didn’t see me see her reaction with the guy because I was behind another guy waiting. I observe people a lot and if I am waiting for an hour, man that is all I do-watch and observe people.

I don’t know what happened to this place. Used to get great service here and good food. Even gone with chef friends who complemented the cook. The last time I went I ordered a sirloin steak and fries. It was so over peppered I couldn’t taste anything. I don’t know about anyone else, but I don’t like pepper on my fries. Got shrimp on the barby for an appetizer. 8, count them, 8 large(not jumbo) shrimp on skewers for $ 15. Actually complained about that one and just got a shoulder shrug. Only got one piece of bread, didn’t even get offered a second. I’m giving it two stars only because of past experiences.

The wait time at 5:30 was about 15 mins on a Friday night so not to bad there. As soon as we sat down we had drinks within 2 minutes and an appetizer within 7 mins. I however was disappointed that they got rid of the old shrimp on a Barbie sauce and replaced it with a more healthy grilled tomato sauce. But it was delicious. My husband ordered the 26 oz rib eye still mooing with a baked sweet potato and a chopped almond, blue cheese salad, that was to die for delicious. Now the steak he ordered came out with a perfect black seer on the out side and mooing hot inside just exactly like he loves it! I ordered the lobster tail and ribeye steak not medium well but not well right between and Outback is the first to ever deliver, other than my husband at home on the smoker, the perfect steak! Yummy! The loaded mashed potatoes were piping hot and so good as well. Our serves was impeccable and this is why for the last 15 years Outback has and always will be my favorite steakhouse!

Outback is what it is. It’s a chain, the steaks are over seasoned, but it’s fine. They always have a good house salad and the loaded potato soup is good on a cold day. If you want a steak, and don’t have a good local place, Outback is a solid choice. Oh and the blood orange margarita is on point!

The service was great and the food was delicious. I order the Firehouse Salmon and my husband ordered the bloomin’ burger. Bothe were filled with flavor; the Salmon was cooked perfectly and was tender. the combination of the Mango Salsa with the Salmon made my tastebuds dance! We finished our dinner off with a Salted Caramel Cookie Skillet; it was one of the best desserts that I’ve had in a while. It was a lot better than The Chocolates Kazookie! Prices were reasonable.

The time from being seated to us actually getting food was an hour. Asked server for refills that never happened. He forgot to get our appetizer rolls even after being asked. Simple things like manger telling us that Pink Lemonade was the only option when people next to us has normal yellow kind. Food came out lukewarm. When we informed the server he told us it wasn’t and just walked away. The poor service could have been excused if the food was decent. It wasn’t.

The steaks here are mediocre on a good day and terrible on a bad day. The temperature of your steak can vary widely from the way your order it. My «medium-rare» filet came out well done, with a touch of pink in the middle. My Dad’s «medium-rare» T-Bone came out bloody as Hell. The quality of the meat isn’t great and doesn’t live up the pricing. For $ 26, I would expect a good cut of meat, but their T-bone was tough and chewy. It was a lot of work, just cutting through it. The bloomin’ onion isn’t even good. They use sharp, bitter, onions and don’t cook them enough to take the edge off of them. They also don’t take enough layers off of the onion, so you get lots of inedible skin mixed in there. Their Caesar salad is possibly the worst I’ve ever tasted. The dressing was bitter and tasted like chemicals. There was no hint of anchovies and it didn’t taste like any Caesar dressing I’ve ever had. The service is usually very good, but the food just makes me sad. Next time Grandpa requests this place for his birthday dinner, I’m going to use my veto power and insist on a better steakhouse.

I hadn’t been to the new Outback location since its upgrade and redesign to a stand-alone store. My wife and I decided to go this past Wednesday, and we were immensely surprised by the new Outback. The interior reminds me of any number of high end steakhouses I have been to around the country. The interior was bright, colorful, inviting and exudes a welcoming place to enjoy a good meal. The staff was busy in their assorted duties, attending to tables regularly, and smiling almost the entire time. My server, Brenden, was incredibly professional, and greeted us with a broad smile and happily offered suggestions, helping with any questions we had about not only the menu, but the restaurant redesign, as well. The menu at Outback has been updated(and upgraded), offering numerous choices of steaks, sides and a few seafood offerings. I chose the Filet Mignon and Lobster Tail, Baked Potato, Caesar Salad and a topping of crispy onions atop the steak. At $ 26, I felt like the price was an absolute bargain! The steak was literally melt-in-your-mouth tender, and was perfectly cooked to my requested Medium Rare. The Lobster Tail, though slightly overcooked, was plump, juicy and delicious. And my Caesar Salad(with homemade croutons!) was scrumptious and delivered a true Caesar Salad flavor that is unbelievably difficult to find here in Utah. My wife ordered a Victoria’s Cut Sirloin, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and a side of Creamy Potato Soup. He meal was as delicious as mine, and she had only praise for every aspect of our dining experience. Her meal also came with a dessert; which she chose to be Vanilla Ice Cream with a Raspberry Coulis and Whipped Cream – simple, but absolutely wonderful! I was beyond pleased with the new store and menu offerings. This one visit restored my faith in the Outback Steakhouse of old, and I will be going back to partake of the wonderful new atmosphere and delicious food! My Thanks to the Franchisee who put out the money to bring this restaurant up to modern standards. Their efforts are well worth anyone returning to this venerable establishment for a wide assortment of steaks and the assorted accompanying foods.

So I came in last night with a bunch of friends for a bachelor party and we were seated right away which was great. We had 7 people and the hostess had a booth ready for us we pulled up a chair and were immediately sat. However everything else with our server after that was to say the least subpar. She totally forgot to refill our waters and get a sprite the after being there 20 minutes. Then pretty sure she forgot to put our food into the the system because we were there for literally an hour before we got our food. The food however was really good. No complaints on the food, the service this visit mediocre.

So let me just say that in the past I have enjoyed outback. The last few times have been far from that. Some of the main pieces that make a good dining experience include good food and good service. The past few times I have been I have had neither. I guess the highlight of the past few times has been the coconut shrimp. They came out hot and were good. At least the new location is clean and has some good big screen TV’s. I would recommend looking for another restaurant before going here.

This outback used to be a solid 4, maybe even 4.5 stars. But as of late, it has become more and more inconsistent. I have authority to say so as I have been going here once a week or every other week for the last 5 years. Lately, the service has been mediocre. But the food has not. The bread gets more and more stale and cold every time I go. I remember the days when I would be anxiously waiting for them to bring out that delicious brown loaf of bread, and have them keep it coming. Now, I don’t care for it as it always stale and hardly worth spoiling the rest of my meal. The delicious creamy potato soup that I always order, is often runny with little sign of any potato at all. Rather disheartening. When I asked the waiter what the hell happened, he gave me the explanation to the tune of «oh it must have been a bad batch». Why is every batch a bad batch week after week? The steak used to be tender with relatively no fat. Now I order a steak, and can maybe eat a few bites as the majority of it is like chewing bubble gum and can’t even be swallowed. The seasoning has gone downhill. Outback would be wise to fire their entire kitchen staff and start over with people who truly know how to make the recipes that I once loved. Now, the food just sucks and I have a hard time coming here anymore. This is unfortunate, as I used to enjoy and looked forward to coming here. Outback, please shape up and get your act together. You’re embarrassing yourself.

I ordered the outback signature with the old bay lobster and steakhouse mac and cheese. The food was over seasoned. Salty to the point I almost couldn’t eat it. The steak, ordered medium, had been seared well on one side, then left raw on the other. The lobster was the equivalent of maybe three really rubbery, salty shrimp on the side of my plate. Nothing was plated with any aesthetic purpose at all. Steak here, lobster there, nothing touching. Almost clinical in its ugliness. My brother, who ate with me tonight, commented on our way out that he wished we’d stopped at the sizzler we passed on the way to outback. There was one bright silver lining to the meal and that was our service. Despite how busy they clearly were, our hostess took time to joke with us a bit and our server, Ben, got down on our level and had a real conversation with us. You guys are the reason outback is getting any stars at all from me. Great job. In review, over priced, poorly cooked, and enough salt to raise anyone’s blood pressure a few notches. Serve staff is great, but whoever is running the kitchen should be banned from handling steak ever again. Not worth it at all.

As god as my witness I will never go to this establishment again! I have had nothing but terrible service here every time I’m talked into going here. The meat is sub par and the servers never get it right. At my diner there tonight I had to remind our server to bring the rest of my food, some of which never came and I paid for any ways, and one of our party ordered a «French dip» sandwich that apparently was served with the au ju spilled all over it to the point it just crumbled on his plate. When he asked for what he ordered he had to wait till five minutes before we left to get his food which he still paid for and when we asked some large frizzy bleached hair manager about it she made us feel dumb for questioning their service. Do not ever go here go to the Texas road house across the street or shoga next door. If I could give this specific out back minus stars I would because of the fat lady telling me I was wrong in thinking you should dip your own French dip? What a fat b*tch.
