The ice cream here is amazing! Hands down the best pistachio ice cream I’ve had at a place like this. The line to pay was a little confusing and should probably be marked with arrows or signs or something. With it being so crowded, nobody really knew which way the line was supposed to go.

Never have I experienced a frozen yogurt that had made me so ill. Not only me, my husband got sick as well. Once we got home, neither of us felt good at all and knew there was something wrong with the yogurt we ate. The flavors were limited(some obscure ones such as black licorice or burnt almond custard). The store’s layout is awkward and had weird topping choices. I got the roasted marshmallow and cake batter with cookie dough mixed in. It was half decent. The person working the cash register was friendly and gave good customer service. Definitely won’t be going there again.

Just a fun place to go. It starts with tasting the flavors you might want. After the tasting you grab your bowl and fill it with as much as and as many different flavors as your heart desires. You pay after weighing in on the scale. Fantastic flavors and taste. Slide by and check it out, you’ll be glad you did.

Farr’s Fresh is a great place to go for a date. When we have gone, it’s usually quiet enough to talk, and there’s a cozy fireplace in the corner. However, there is not wide variety of flavors, and they rarely change the selections. They have great toppings, but could really use something to serve them with. The staff is friendly, and eager to help.

An ice cream parlor that lets you make your own concoctions out of soft serve ice cream. Its unique and the ice creams are good. They charge you by the ounce so it can be on the pricey side if you like larger portions. The kids especially love this place and being able to choose their toppings. They make gross concoctions with tons of mix-in’s, kind of like when I was growing up and made suicide fountain soda’s with a little of every flavor. Try the Mochi balls in a fruit flavored ice cream for a unique and refreshing creation.

Great custard. The gelato was just soft serve.

The seasonal almond-divinity flavor was hands down the best flavor I’ve ever ever ever had. Amazing. Too bad its not around very often.

Great yogurt, and I love the idea of the serve yourself. Its also a fun atmosphere. Looking forward to going again.

It’s newer and cute [and clean] and it has a small variety of different frozen treats. Ice Cream [which is what I think of when I think of Farrs], Frozen Yogurt, Frozen Custard and Hot Chocolate. The Ice Creams are Yum, which I think you would expect. Just wish there were more variety of ice cream, which they do really well! Hint. Hint. I like the variety of toppings and yogurt flavors at Yogurtland where you always have 16 to choose from [with all their yummy toppings]. But that is all they do at Yogurtland. Here you also have some frozen custard flavors from which to choose. Sadly, I’m not a fan of the custard, maybe it’s a Utah thing. Oh well. So here’s my scoop: If you are into yogurt go to Yogurtland, and if Hot Chocolate is your thing, check out the Cocoa Bean Cupcake Café for a variety and munch on a cupcake while you are there. However if you have Ice Cream Eaters, Custard Eaters AND Hot Chocolate Drinkers in your party, this may be the place for you, everyone can find something to like!

Farr’s Fresh is a ice cream and frozen yogurt café near the University Mall in Orem. Many of these yogurt cafes have cropped up in Utah recently including Frogurt, Red Mango, Spoon Me, and LunaBerry. Some are self-serviced while at others an employee serves you. Farr’s Fresh is a self-service café, so when you go in you grab your own cup, choose the flavor or flavors you want, and put on as much or as little toppings as you’d like. They have about a dozen flavors to choose from including things like Cake Batter, Root Beer, Strawberry, and Pineapple Dole Whip. They also have A LOT of toppings including everything from candy to cereal, fruit, carmel, marshmallow, chocolate syrup and much more. When you’re done they weigh your yogurt and you pay by the ounce. The great thing about these places is that you can have as much or as little as you want, plus you can mix flavors, and try lots of different toppings. Of the yogurt cafes I’ve been to Farr’s Fresh is without a doubt the nicest. They’ve obviously spent some money to make the place look nice and it does. For a delicious treat Farr’s Fresh is as good as it gets!
