I dropped off 3 garments on Saturday July 25th, all of which needed simple mending. One needed a button replaced the other two had simple tears that needed to be sewn. There was one person ahead of me and I waited my turn to explain what services I was seeking. I made the mistake of explaining to a woman who then moved me aside to assist someone who had come in after me never bothering to explain the person who does the alterations was assisting someone else. I specifically recall explaining for the garment missing a button to take the top button from the collar as I don’t button the top button and to use it to replace the missing button, when I came in today to pick up the garments I made it a point to inspect them and discovered what I had asked was ignored and my garment hung in a bag I’m assuming in hopes I wouldn’t notice or see that the service I paid $ 2.95(yes that’s right for a button!) was not actually completed. Naturally I pointed it out and asked that he please take the time to sew on the button in the place I had asked for originally. I sympathize with people who’s first language isn’t English my first language is Spanish so I did my best to calmly, clearly explain once again what I had paid for. All the while I was interrupted, cut off and basically told I was wrong or had asked for something different knowing full well I didn’t. He then clearly and angrily took a razor blade cut off the WRONG button ONCEMORE and leaving my garment with a new different gap. So in other words I paid them $ 3 to leave me with the same problem I faced before. The man who does the alterations was rude and condescending he walked away without as much as asking if his«correction» had resolved the problem which it didn’t. The woman then meekly came over and suggested I bring it back anytime… Uh for what so you can ignore what I ask for and do whatever the hell you want all the while charging ridiculous prices?! No thank you! Never giving you any business and making it a point to dissuade any others from coming anywhere near this joke of a chop shop! Stay away from this place and these people! Unless of course you want to spend money on something you didn’t ask for and feel the need to be talked about in a different language you can’t understand and then told to come back«anytime» for mistreatment and terrible customer service.

Today was my second time going to Swan Cleaners for an alteration and I am very very pleased with their work. The first time was to have a bridesmaids dress from David’s Bridal taken in and today was to shorten straps on two dresses. The woman at the desk was very nice and even offered to walk my items out to my car because I was holding my infant daughter. They will be my «go to» dry cleaners and tailors.

One of my friends who is a high-level professional recommended Swan’s and since she wears lots of suits, I had to go. I need my Seven jeans hemmed so not so big of a deal but I wanted it to look as expensive as they were. The front desk lady was really nice and friendly. Hemming costs $ 11(for jeans anyway). They were ready inside of 24 hours. Looked perfect when they were done. Straight seam, perfect hem. Exactly to the measurement I requested. Definitely going to go back to Swan’s for tailoring and any dry cleaning I need. Very pleased.

I was up in Oregon recently to visit family for a long weekend. I had only brought in a couple shirts to wear, and ended up staining my shirt with food. I took it to this cleaners per recommendation from my cousin. I brough my shirt in on Thursday right before closing, and I picked it up the very next day in the afternoon! Service was great, and it was fast! The lady at the front was very kind, and understanding, and assured that I would have my shirt all clean — and to her word, it was ready, and clean as promised. Recommended for sure!
