The pastries were amazing! Had a raspberry roll yesterday and had an orange roll today. Everything was fantastic and the service was warm and friendly. Great place!

I ordered a birthday cake for one of my daughters last fall and another birthday cake for my other daughter this week. Both cakes(lemon delight and orange creamsicle) were amazing! Both cakes were moist, flavorful, decorated beautifully, reasonably priced and ready on time. What more could one ask for? Oh, and a few days ago a friend and I tried their glazed cinnamon rolls and those did not disappoint either! Also moist, delicious and reasonably priced. The owners have been friendly and courteous(and I am a stickler for this!). Thank you, Pure Bliss Bakery! ~The Cook family

Great food and great people. We live a few blocks away and every time we drive by we want to stop for the delicious baked goods!

My daughter ordered several small pies to taste test before her wedding. Trying several venders before making a decision. When they arrived home they looked good however when you tried to cut them the crust was over a inch deep on the top and on the bottom. The crust crumbled when trying to cut, literally crumbled. To top that the taste was horrible! One pie had sprinkles on the crust that looked like a preschooler had attempted to do. Wouldn’t you think if you were sampling for a large event they would put their best foot forward? Word of mouth will probably soon find this shop CLOSEDFORBUSINESS. Sad because keeping business local is always the best.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. I’ve had their coffee, their baked goods, their cupcakes, and their sandwiches. Everything was good, no complaints. I stop in whenever I am craving a scone in the morning and they are open. It’s good to support local small business, and they don’t disappoint. I’ve never ordered a cake, however, so I can’t comment on that.

A great bakery in OC. Excellent sandwiches, coffee, and pastries. Chipotle chicken panini is amazing.

I placed an order for cupcakes over a month ago for my daughters birthday, I went in and placed the order with the owner. After reading the recent review about the lady who showed up to find out her order was lost and not fulfilled on her kids birthday, it prompted me to call and confirm mine. I called, left 2 voicemails and no response. I went in and yep no order! The girl did remember it being taken but wasn’t sure where it was. The owner later called and sort of apologized for the mix up and took my order again as if it was normal practice to lose orders for people’s special events. Seems to be a pattern with this place. I have no confidence in Pure Bliss. Very sad to see as I liked their pasties and wanted to see a local business succeed. I will not be going back and will tell everyone I know not to trust this bakery with their birthdays, weddings or any special events.

Let me tell you about my unpleasant experience with Pure Bliss. This is all fact; no conjecture on my part. Called in an order a week or so ago for my twins bday party. Go in to pick them up, 2 hrs prior to party, and NOCUPCAKES. The young girl working the counter says«sorry, mistakes happen» in a very condescending, disingenuous tone. I’m clearly upset and the girl starts arguing with me. Yes, my voice raised because she wasn’t trying to problem solve or assure me everything would be resolved — just attitude. Seriously, I have a million things to do in 2 hrs and now I have no freakin cupcakes. Think my reaction was justified. Owner shows up and denies she even remembers talking to me, or taking the order. Instead says, «this has never happened before». No apology. In fairness, she said she’d have my order ready in 2 hrs and deliver them herself. In her words, «do I have a choice?». And, she didn’t charge me for the order, which was the right thing to do. If you’re determined to buy cupcakes here for an event, do it in person, so you can verify the order was taken or call to confirm prior, to make sure everything is on track. It’s just unfortunate that the lack of customer attention/service was so poor, initially, when confronted with an epic mistake on their end. The owner did redeem herself in the end but I will never return after such a traumatizing and unprofessional experience.

Lisa O. So let me get this straight you still received the cupcakes not just on time but before the party started, you got your cupcakes for free, you got them free delivered… I’m not understanding your negative comment. No one is perfect and mistakes happen whether it was on them or on you, you still got them for free… and before your party… and free delivered. I have ordered and eaten here many times and I think this place is wonderful, especially the ladies that work here. The young lady you speak of has always been really sweet and nice and respectable no matter the situation. I do recall you making the young lady cry cause you were so ornery and rude and raised your voice high enough to where other customers had to come and intervene for you not to speak to her like that and the cops had to come cause of your outrage. If I was them I wouldn’t have given you anything for free or even brought them to you, but because they are not like that and they take pride in there family business and never want an unhappy customer they AGAIN were willing and did give them to you for FREE and DELIVERFORFREE before YOURPARTY…(I bet those cupcakes you ate were sure good.) You should honestly be ashamed of yourself for leaving an ugly comment like this. I want to Thank Pure Bliss(the 3 awesome ladies that work here) for being a wonderful family place and always making sure your customers are happy no matter the situation.

To be fair, I am reviewing this based on my experience when Kirsten and Erica owner it. I have not been back since but I know several people who have dined at Pure Bliss under the new owners and the consensus is still the same — amazing. The sisters everyone refers to did an amazing job getting this place off the ground. The recipes are impressive. Their lunch is amazing. The paninis are my favorite, I believe it was the turkey pesto one that I loved so much. They made my son’s birthday cake a couple years back too. Simply incredible. My understanding is all the recipes were sold with the business so it was disappointing to hear about the customers experience with the Frozen cake. Sometimes, even with recipes, it is all about the bakers touch. I think I’ll stop on again soon to give the new owners a shot and hope to find the Frozen cake as a fluke.

This bakery is completely out of this world you would not believe how delicious everything is. If you were to come here you will completely understand. The lunch menu here is ridiculous the most fabulous Pinneys I’ve ever had in my entire life

This place is small and kinda tucked away on a main road. Awesome bakery items. I’ve never ate lunch or breakfast here but the treats are tasty!

I ordered two cakes for my 30th birthday celebration. One was their peanut butter and chocolate cake, the other was their strawberries and cream cake. Both cakes were phenomenal and wonderfully decorated. Very moist and flavorful, all of the guests thoroughly enjoyed them, and many went back for another slice! Next time we need cakes or other baked sweets, we know where we’re going! They were easy to work with and fairly priced as well. Thanks ladies!

I was searching for a good panini place in the OC and saw this place had good reviews so tried it out today. The food was great and reasonably priced! I had the Tuna melt with cheddar cheese and tomato. I got it to go and it was neatly packed along with chips and ice cold sweet red grapes in a cute little white paper lunch bag with a handle! Sandwich was delicious. But don’t be in a hurry. business was steady and it took 20 min for the sandwich after I ordered.

I’ve been here twice, so far, and I’ve really enjoyed the place. It’s family owned and the people there are really sweet. On my first trip, I had the marionberry scone and my friend had the lemon/blueberry/pecan scone. Both scones are awesome. Second trip was for lunch. I had the tuna melt sandwich, which I liked a lot and definitely filled me up, and I had a fantastic cookie for dessert. This place is cute, homey and really reasonable. If I lived in town, I would make this a regular stop.

If you’re ordering something, make sure to call or stop in. Don’t use the sales@ link from website as they don’t check email. My first email was responded to(several days later), I responded back with details and offer to call in w/CC info for order. No response, and no cupcakes when I showed up. Said they were so busy and hadn’t been checking email, yet my CC was run through a Square reader on a smartphone at the front counter?! Who doesn’t check email from a small biz when orders could be coming through? It is a cute place, display case had many baked goods that looked yummy. Had awkward interaction with staff when they didn’t have my order(emailed over a week earlier thru website). I was trying to be easy and just get a couple dozen cupcakes of any variety. Had to come back that afternoon as they were very stressed and had several cakes to get out that morning. In the end they came through. Was hoping for superb cupcakes and they were pretty, frosting was good. Cakes were on the dry side. Chocolate ones were the most moist. All in all, was disappointed as I really, really wanted to love this little gem.

One cool Saturday morning we were bidding a job off of Central Point Rd. We saw the sign for Pure Bliss Bakery. I had the orange/cranberry scone. It was the best scone I have ever had! As others have mentioned, the staff is warm and friendly. You owe it to yourself, and your sweet-tooth, to go there. ‘Pure Bliss’ is the right description.

Oh my… This place is where it’s at. Every time I go there, I make sure that I try a few different items on their menu. Everything they make is super delicious and leaves me wanting more. I even ordered a birthday cake for my woman and that too was amazing. Their prices are really good as well.

I live just down the street from this place, I am sure I have driven by it many times because it is very easy to miss. I had purchased I groupon or something for lunch at this place. The lunch was actually really good, its been a while since I ate lunch there, can’t remember what I got, but I know I liked it and so did the wife. The real stars here are the pastries. I sometimes find myself pretending there is a minimum purchase to use a debit card so that I have an excuse to buy eight things just for myself. I have had the blackberry sweet roll, its just, ugh, no words… The marionberry bar, the cinnamon roll, raspberry muffin, pumpkin cheesecake muffin, berry scone, pecan sticky bun, all good. See, I told you, I buy a lot of stuff here. It’s good. Know what else they have here in large quantities? Great customer service. It’s run by sisters who were(are?) in the catering business? They are nice and inviting and happy to chat. The pastries are great, but the owners keep me wanting to come back. Stop in when you are driving by, grab a pastry, have some conversation, support a small business that deserves it.

Wow, first to review! Cool. I recently saw a Groupon for this Bakery/Café’ and decided to try it out. I’m glad I did. As the name implies, it’s actually a bakery, but they also serve Paninis, salads, and soup for those who would like lunch. Since the Groupon deal was for $ 12(only lunch items though), I decided to try the Turkey Pesto Panini which is supposedly their most popular panini. It was delicious. Very delicious. It came with kettle chips and grapes. Nothing special, but good. I also had a can of Coke to go with it. Nothing to report there. A Coke’s a Coke. I also inquired about the soup of the day, but it was Taco Soup, which just didn’t suit my tastes, so I passed. Instead, I ordered a Chipotle Chicken panini to go(for my kids — they ate it up, both giving it a thumbs up.) Finally, I could not pass up sampling their baked goods, and ordered a chocolate chip cookie before I walked out the door. I was not disappointed. I’m kind of a chocolate chip cookie snob, and it takes a lot to impress me. I was impressed. It wasn’t THEBESTEVER chocolate chip cookie, but it was definitely an 8 or 9 on the 10 point scale. They have lots of other baked goods that looked very enticing, but I didn’t want to overstuff myself. All in all, a good lunch. Random notes: 1) They are off the beaten path. The road they are on gets a fair amount of traffic, but it’s kind of in the middle of suburbia. When I was driving there, I thought that maybe I’d encounter a house that had been re-purposed into a restaurant. Nope, it’s a real«restaurant» building, albeit small. Nicely decorated though with easy parking out front. 2) Evidently, this place is kind of a hidden gem. There were only a few people in there, but I overheard the woman who served me say(several times) that«it was super busy». If that was busy, they must be really low traffic. I hope they are getting enough traffic to stay in business!(I’m assuming their business is primarily catering/baking, but I enjoyed the lunch, so I hope it’s a good profitable part of their business). 3) I believe that it is family run by two sisters(?). I think one of the sisters is the person who served me. It took her a bit to get my order done, but not a huge wait. Still, she apologized several times for«the wait»(even though I didn’t think it was a big deal). Good stuff. Love supporting locally owned businesses. Especially when they have great stuff!
