We are moving out of a ³⁄₂ ranch that we have lived in for 6 years. We accumulated a LOT of crap! I looked into having a dumpster in front of my house but was hesitant for several reasons. The first was the price. It seemed exorbitant to pay that much for just a dumpster and it doesn’t include the dumping fees. I also didn’t want to go too small and have to get another or go too big and overpay. Lastly, I didn’t want to have a huge dumpster cracking and destroying my driveway. I looked up junk removal and found JPs. I spoke with John and he was able to schedule a specific time and date. He showed up right on time and took all of my junk (I had kept it in a pile on the side of the house). Very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I would recommend this over any other options for getting rid of your junk.

I don’t have a lot of junk in the trunk, but as I’ve been packing up all my stuff for my move, I’ve noticed that my 2 story, 3 bedroom townhome sure has a lot of junk. I know, shocking!
We have a nice dumpster here (if there is such a thing as a «nice» dumpster), but the homeowner’s association can be pretty strict. Plus, for environmental reasons not everything is safe to dump. My car is too small to ship much into places that accept large items, so I went online to search how I could get rid of my mattress and some other large furniture. Most charities in the area unfortunately wouldn’t drive by for large items.
Enter JP’s Junk Removal. I found their website and after filling out just basic info for a quote, got a call from the owner in about 2 hours. Since I’m not an expert on junk removal, I don’t know what is considered a good deal, so would recommend everyone do that research. JP’s was comparable from what I saw, but the reason I went with them is that they agreed to a specific date and time that worked best for me, plus they’re locally owned. Other companies had an 8 hour window and also wanted me to leave the stuff outside for them. Well that wouldn’t work for me as some of the junk I couldn’t carry on my own, and every minute is valuable when you’re trying to move.
JP showed up exactly when he said he would, and everything went smoothly. Oh how life would be so much better if only I could get a company like this to get rid of all my non-​physical junk too.

We moved to Portland from SF. The previous tenants left a ton of garbage. It has sat outside in the rain for months previous and we needed to discard it. JP came with a large truck, on time, was courteous and professional. He removed all of the garbage, quickly, cleaned up any small debris that was left. He has a large professional truck, good rates, and a no nonsense approach to getting rid of your garbage.
Top notch service, local independent business, reasonable rates, kind and courteous. I would definitely use this guy for any future removal issues.
